Went here for breakfast our first morning in cocoa beach! I went for the Beach Break and he went for the Bacon, egg and cheese and both were delicious! We both agreed that the beach break was definitely better, so consider getting a speciality bagel when you go! The service was kinda slow, we probably waited 15 minutes for our food and drinks. There wasn't a line but the food just took awhile. The ambiance was just like a small local bagel shop, nothing fancy. Not much room inside but we were able to grab a table outside! We finally gave in to the peer pressure that is The Salty Bagel... and WOW. This place is always packed--like "line out the door, do we really want to commit to this?" packed. But curiosity (and carbs) won. And let me just say... totally worth it. We ordered a little bit of everything (because obviously that's the only responsible thing to do), and every single bite delivered. Everything tasted super fresh, and the bagels? That perfect chewy-on-the-inside, slight-crisp-on-the-outside situation that makes you pause mid-bite like, "ok yes... this is why people wait in line." There was inside and outside seating available. There was music playing and televisions on the back wall. There was one accessible restroom inside. Instead of setting up a line, for counter ordering, which would be easy, they're yelling at the guests to clear the way, so they can serve. As we're shuffling over to where we're told to be, I didn't turn in fast enough for Jenny Cash, the grim server in black. She plowed me like linebacker Fred Warner. Not "excuse me." Not "coming through." It was that passive aggressive move that Germans boarding a crowded commuter train use: elbow, shift left. Her manner didn't improve much when she dropped our food: "Always watching, Wysnowski. Always watching. At least they live up to the salty part. Places too small. Tables are cramped. Outdoor seating is limited too. So many easy fixes to make this worthy of the rating. Treat people with a little dignity. Put out food that doesn't short the pricey ingredients. We were in Cocoa Beach for a few days and our Airbnb host recommended a few places for breakfast. Out of the long list we picked a few places and they were all packed with over an hour wait. This place was not on their but it will be after our visit! My wife saw the Salty Bagel when we were driving to the other restaurant we picked. After finding out the wait time at the other place, we walked here. The line went quick, the staff was very friendly and happy and the menu selections were just like NY! The macchiatos we got were amazing. They offer any milk alternative you may want. We had iced caramel macchiatos with oat milk and they were the best coffees we had while in Florida. The bagel selection had everything from Asiago to everything to jalapeño cheddar and even salt. Salt bagels aren't something you really find outside of the NY area so it was nice to see they had them! They had every type available too. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the bagel was delicious! My wife had and everything bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. The everything bagel was covered in season and she said it was really good. We sat outside and the staff brought our coffees and food out when it was ready. We really enjoyed our visit here and would recommend this to anyone that is looking for quality food and coffee without waiting. If we stayed longer, we would have gotten bagels and cream cheese to go. I loved this little place and will definitely be back! read more

We were staying at Hilton Cocoa Beach for a staycation and came over here for breakfast. GREAT decision. They have fresh bagels and flavored cream cheese right on the beach. However, that doesn't make up for the coffee tasting completely watered down and the 3 hairs we found baked into the bagel dough, and the one that was sandwiched in between the egg and bacon on my breakfast bagel.
