I feel mixed about this. I really wanted to love salty bagel, but in full transparency I would not return here. There weren't too many options by the beach, so I'm grateful the salty bagel was there... The bagels just weren't fresh and everything seemed just sort of processed. I see from other reviews some people don't care, but a fresh bagel goes a long way for me. Didn't get coffee but it looked delicious. The ambiance was super cute and of course right by the beach. Wait time was also not great. We were waiting about 15 - 20 minutes which felt like a while for two bagels, but they were pretty busy. I got the nova & my mom got the avocado toast. We got an iced vanilla latte and two bacon, egg, and cheese bagels on the French toast bagel. The sandwiches were fresh and the bacon was nice and crunchy. We finally gave in to the peer pressure that is The Salty Bagel... and WOW. This place is always packed--like "line out the door, do we really want to commit to this?" packed. But curiosity (and carbs) won. And let me just say... totally worth it. We ordered a little bit of everything (because obviously that's the only responsible thing to do), and every single bite delivered. Everything tasted super fresh, and the bagels? That perfect chewy-on-the-inside, slight-crisp-on-the-outside situation that makes you pause mid-bite like, "ok yes... this is why people wait in line." There was inside and outside seating available. There was music playing and televisions on the back wall. There was one accessible restroom inside. Yes, it was busy, busy inside! The bagels were very good. The ham, egg & cheese bagel was only a bit over $6 (in NY I hear they're over $10 now - boo!) and was perfect. Not "coming through." It was that passive aggressive move that Germans boarding a crowded commuter train use: elbow, shift left. Her manner didn't improve much when she dropped our food: "Always watching, Wysnowski. Always watching. At least they live up to the salty part. Places too small. Tables are cramped. Outdoor seating is limited too. So many easy fixes to make this worthy of the rating. Treat people with a little dignity. Put out food that doesn't short the pricey ingredients. We were in Cocoa Beach for a few days and our Airbnb host recommended a few places for breakfast. Out of the long list we picked a few places and they were all packed with over an hour wait. This place was not on their but it will be after our visit! My wife saw the Salty Bagel when we were driving to the other restaurant we picked. After finding out the wait time at the other place, we walked here. The line went quick, the staff was very friendly and happy and the menu selections were just like NY! The macchiatos we got were amazing. They offer any milk alternative you may want. We had iced caramel macchiatos with oat milk and they were the best coffees we had while in Florida. The bagel selection had everything from Asiago to everything to jalapeño cheddar and even salt. Salt bagels aren't something you really find outside of the NY area so it was nice to see they had them! They had every type available too. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the bagel was delicious! My wife had and everything bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. The everything bagel was covered in season and she said it was really good. We sat outside and the staff brought our coffees and food out when it was ready. We really enjoyed our visit here and would recommend this to anyone that is looking for quality food and coffee without waiting.
