I arrived for a scheduled emergency visit to deal with an abscess, and spent a total of 4 minutes with the doctor in the room. "I'll be right back" was said about 7 times. He sliced the abscess, left the room for 30 minutes with soaking wet gauze in my mouth, with the excess dripping all over my clothing, then made zero attempt to clean, disinfect, or even have me rinse. They sent me on my way feeling like i was robbed.The entire experience crossed the border of 'sanitary' by a wide mile. Against my better judgement, I made the follow-up appointment to extract the tooth, and they refused service the day of the appointment. The lack of sanitation, professionalism, or anything close to attentiveness is disturbing. Stay away from this dirty dollar grab.

The room I was in was not the cleanest, so I was a little put off by that. But the hygienist was nice and the doctor (the younger Shore) gave me a good once-over and sent me on my way. I returned for my second cleaning recently and was more impressed after getting to see more of the office. My hygienist was different this time, but I really liked her. She was very friendly and her cleaning didn't hurt a little bit even once! I also got panoramic x-rays done in a fancy machine and didn't have to bite down on all the things they usually put in your mouth for scans; those things hurt my pallet. After the cleaning and x-rays were complete the founding Dr. Shore came to check me out. He's so hip and cool, with all his little jute bracelets. He complimented my teeth and sent me on my merry way. Another thing I noticed is there are a ton of staff that work here. I think Shore-Snyder is single-handedly employing all of Norwood! Much to my surprise, Dr. Rose completed the procedure without me feeling one single ounce of pain. Honestly I've had teeth cleanings that hurt more than what he did to me today.
