It was a long journey because of the Covid situation, but we weathered through it and after my braces were removed, and I would like to add, Doctors Christie and Drane were so wonderful and patient with me. I felt so comfortable and it was actually fun seeing Dr. Christie Dr Drane and Kristen every few weeks. Then I meet Dr. Mark Forward and the transition started and now here I am with a new smile. Sometimes my braces needed adjustment when I saw him and he would adjust them and joke about helping his father during the summers with orthodontics. His staff and assistants made me feel so welcome, I felt so safe and I felt I belonged to the "family". After Dr. Forward finished my new smile, I immediately went to Dr Christie to show her. What a wonderful group of professional dentists and orthodontists. I couldn't ask for anything more. I arrived for a scheduled emergency visit to deal with an abscess, and spent a total of 4 minutes with the doctor in the room. "I'll be right back" was said about 7 times. He sliced the abscess, left the room for 30 minutes with soaking wet gauze in my mouth, with the excess dripping all over my clothing, then made zero attempt to clean, disinfect, or even have me rinse. They sent me on my way feeling like i was robbed.The entire experience crossed the border of 'sanitary' by a wide mile. Against my better judgement, I made the follow-up appointment to extract the tooth, and they refused service the day of the appointment. The lack of sanitation, professionalism, or anything close to attentiveness is disturbing. Stay away from this dirty dollar grab.

Went here after my regular dentist no longer accepted my insurance. Upon initial consultation they…read moreclaimed I had several "deep pockets" and they refused to clean my teeth unless I did a deep scaling. I then went to my regular dentist and paid out of pocket and they said none of that was true and my gum health was excellent. At this initial appointment my 2 sons and husband were also seen. Husband was told the exact same thing which we refused the deep scaling. This was also confirmed later it was not true and had minimal gum concerns. Both sons had a small cavity and since they did well with the kids we got them filled here at Aspen. Worst mistake EVER. Arrive for the filling's appointment I had made in office the week prior and were not in the system. I ask if we need to reschedule and they said they had the time. We get in back and am told by staff doctor is triple booked. She was nice as cab be when we got in the room but I can see she was spread thin and had little patience and shouldve just rescheduled if it was going to be how it turned out. My first son did great without numbing but my second has a fear of needles so attempted without any numbing since we were told it was a small cavity and not deep. The doctor drilled for about 4 minutes and then recommended numbing bc it was much bigger than she expected and she kept pushing numbing even though my son asked to continue. She put the tip with oragel in his mouth and walks out of the room for 15 mins to see another patient. She returns and he asked for suction. She refused. He then said he was going to throw up and the doctor didn't move or react at all. This boy is 9 years old. No consideration at all for this scared boy whose mouth is full of tingling spit. Finally I jumped in since he's 4 ft off the ground and the doctor and assistant are just staring at him about to puke on himself. We got him Down and put him in front of the sink and after spitting it all out felt better. The suction he requested would've have bypassed all of this. She walks out of the room and is doing a crown on another patient while we're sitting there. Leaving myself my oldest and a scared likely boy who almost puked alone for over 20 mins. 20 mins later she comes back and asks what are we doing. "I'm thinking of just covering and sending to a pediatric dentist". I said he's willing to sit here it your willing to do your job. Now comes the needle. She says to my 9 year old. If you move even an inch I'm done and not doing this. Likely bc she is overbooked and has no patience. He sits still and she leaves the room again. Once she returns, minutes later she completes the service. I did lose my cool and told staff the doctor, practice and how they treated my family was shi* and wouldn't be returning which is true. Awful experience and advise everyone to spread the word to steer clear of this place.
