Very small dental office and only one dentist available average of 4 dental chairs and no privacy at all only a small short wall seperate the chairs my first visit was not bad but this time it was a horrible experience i got an extraction and took forever not what i expected when i told the dentist that he was taking long he stated and i quote if you have a complaint tell jesus like really so unproffesional of him only reason why i gave a 2 star was because the front desk was really nice and dental assistants as well but other than that not reccomended read more

BEWARE STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!! This is the dentures they made for me using an over size mold after having 2 people try and re make them. I told them that the dentures were not sized correctly. they took my money from insurance leaving with a set of dentures that do not fit. I can't eat and they chipped my bottom teeth. Horrible place to go the Dentist Edgar Betancur doesn't do nothing ,he lets the dental assistants do the job and he doesn't never tell you , they're not Dentists, this dental assistance Yordi C , did a job on my tooth and she didn't do it the right way I ended up loosing my tooth , and when I went back to tell her that she did a bad job she had a bad attitude and I ask her what she was going to do to fix it , she didn't even know . I've been here once, and the dentist Just tells you to brush your teeth and floss, and run some test, don't even tell you what you have, they just set you up for appointments , they charge 5 dollar la for using a credit card, they just try to empty out your insurance you have in the account, don't come here, worst dentist I've ever been too read more

I've called this office twice to schedule a new patient appointment and I haven't gotten any luck. The person that answers does not greet professionally nor does she speak professionally either. The office hours on GOOGLE clearly show this business is open, however, when I call, I was told they were closed and won't be open until next week Monday. It sounds like the number listed on GOOGLE is someone's direct number. I can hear someone in the background taking a personal call and I had to ask to confirm if this number is Salud Dental. Should someone be handling calls, I believe the best thing to do is to be polite, courteous and professional and that wasn't what this person portrayed. I've decided to switch offices. I went here a little over a year ago and had a tooth removed and when the tooth was removed the dentist doctor Betancourt chipped and cracked another tooth and didn't say anything about he just proceeded to act like nothing was wrong also he when I asked if he could pull more teeth he said no only one at a time I honestly think they are trying to scam insurance companies read more

I love Dr. Betancourt and his staff. I have been a patient for a decade or so. He explains the treatments and options beforehand. He saved a tooth of mine rather than just pull it. He worked me in for an emergency one time and always calls me back the next day to check for problems. I have had several dental hygienists work on my teeth. All were professional and gentle. read more

My mom was having some tooth pain and Dr. Betancourt was originally planning to put in an amalgam filling. After I had caught it on the receipt, I stopped him from putting it in due to health reasons. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3025977/ However, that was after Betancourt argued with me in front of everyone about how amalgams are harmless for about 10 minutes. I appreciated his perspective, but at the same time was very uncomfortable because the office is extremely small without any real walls, so the whole show was loud and clear for everyone there. A composite resin was put in for $150 and the procedure went smoothly without any complications. However, a couple days later, my mom was in pain again. We made another appointment and went back in, but when we arrived, there was only 1 seat available and they told us that it would take awhile to get to us. We decided to reschedule and was told that this was the last day before Betancourt would go on vacation for 2 weeks. I think that he may be the only dentist that works there. During the next appointment, I asked if we could get a refund since the filling was completely ineffective. He declined and reasoned that since it was already put in, there was nothing he could do. This was extremely disappointing because even though he said that the composite resin would not last as long as the amalgam, he failed to mention anything about it lasting less than a few days. At that point my mom just wanted to get it over with and since this time he didn't make any guarantees about her being in pain again if we went with his initial option of treatment starting with a temporary, she ended up deciding to have it pulled. The only reason I rated this business more than 1 star was because the front desk and assistants were nice, and Betancourt seems nice as well, but we were not pleased with the service at all. read more
