I'm not one with high expectations regarding airport food, but this place is better than most. I had to take a few stars away due to the tight table spaces, delayed service, and high prices. I ordered the Carajillo to start, which was perfectly sweet and a nice intro to the meal to come. For side dishes, I ordered chips and guacamole. Maybe it's an American thing, but there were barely any chips for the amount of guacamole that they give you. I had to ask for more. The steak tacos were flavorful and juicy but the tortillas fell apart easily, which made it difficult to eat. I had to use a fork and knife to eat them. Service was spotty. I found myself looking for the waiter several times. Pricing is high with two Carajillos, chips and guacamole and two entrees which came out to over 80 dollars. Not sure if they are better options in the airport, so I may look at alternatives to compare against. read more

Waiting for a flight in CDMX. hungry. A display of overstuffed sandwiches catches you eye. I grad the name of the item I want and a menu. Order what I saw. What arrives is two slices of moist, dirty with bread with a sliver of ham and cheese kinda hot on the outside, . and stale fries. BLECCCCCHHHHHH. Pork tacos were horribly strange. The meat tasted Spam-ish, but Spam actually tastes much better when it's cooked. The blue corn tortilla was interesting, but not very tasty. This place should be avoided by all cost. We spend 446 pesos for two breakfast plates with one water bottle and one orange juice. That's $25 not including tip. The breakfast portion was tiny with few small undercooked/cold/bland "French" potatoes and some eggs with salsa on top plus one slice of bacon cut into two pieces. I asked for just eggs and potatoes and they still charged me for a full breakfast. The tomato slices that came with my meal were the worst with one looking anemic and the other being the butt. My pan dulce tasted like those buns in a plastic wrap. To top it all off we ordered juevos rancheros and they brought juevos revueltos and just shrugged when I pointed out the mistake. This place is a total rip off and a bad representation of what dining in Mexico had to offer (even considering that it's an airport). read more

The food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best food we had while in Mexico period. My issue was, the service/service fee. The service was very pushy, and rude. I ordered water 4 times and he kept saying yes and wouldn't he kept bringing tequila shots but no water, my boyfriend asked and he brought it right over. The part that made me more angry was there are NO SIGNS anywhere unless you ask the manager for one (he has one behind the bar on the counter out of sight for customers) that state that the restaurant only takes 14 pesos for 1 USD. THE PESO IS WORTH 18 TO OUR 1 USD. And told us after we ate our food, and had the audacity to say it's a service fee. That their place is so good they can just de value money. I wouldn't have stopped in or bought anything, Oh. And the waiter awkwardly demanded more tip, and I work in food service and I still tipped him well regardless that they charged a random 30$ to my bill. Heaaaaaated. That's all I can say. read more

My friend ordered a sprite and they gave him a Sprite Zero. What tf is that?? My other friend ordered a Cesar salad and they gave him ranch dressing. My 3rd friend ordered a turkey sandwich and the turkey on this thing would not be touched by a dog. Then my food. I ordered some pork tacos hoping to have a nice final Mexican meal. They were so bad and fatty they made me almost barf. Not to mention that they came out cold and 15 minutes after everyone else got their food. Then, when we get the check, the bill was about 850 pesos and I was pleasantly surprised to not see the French fries on the bill and I thought that they had been taken off due to bad service and quality of food. But I was wrong. As I was leaving, the waiter taps me on the shoulder with the bill and proceeds to write in the order of French fries at the bottom of the bill and demand 60 extra pesos for the French fries. I don't speak Spanish so it was very difficult for me to process at first and then a bilingual person intervened and helped translate for both of us. Good food before our flight. We had the Huevos Revueltos and the Huevos Divorciados. The food was good. It wasn't as amazing as we had in Oaxaca but it had the right amount of flavor for the right price. Coffee was delicious and the orange juice tasted fresh. My flight was delayed, so I decided to stop for a quick snack, wanted dinner and was thinking of a full meal, but decided on the Empanadas Argentinas, first I took good 10mins before the waiter asked me for my order until i waived at him, it wasn't that busy, yes a little full, but some empty tables, he took my order and brought my empanadas really fast, without my drink, said he would be back with my Limonada, I started eating them and they were cold...I thought empanadas were suppose to be hot, they were okay, but my drink arrived after I was done with my food.
