We have been to many estate sales, but the ones managed by Sonya are overpriced. There is an abundance of staff, which is fine, but when asked a question, they defer you to Sonya. We asked if they would consider a lower price than what was listed and we were told flatly no. Whoever prices Sonya's items to be sold knows absolutely nothing about antiques or simply doesn't care and obviously is in it for bulk only. She prices 1800 antiques for $15! She puts $10 price tags on $2 Temu flip flops! Her pricing is ridiculous for the poor sellers yet when she had her own antique store (Salvaged by Sonia) those same types of antiques etc. sold for ridiculously high prices. Shes horribly rude and I personally feel sorry for whoever deals with her. If your a seller go elsewhere and save yourself the disappointment. Sonya and her team were amazing. They put on a very successful Estate sale for me. Sonya is so knowledgeable and not only held a great sale but also helped me with removing unsold items through Mom's Angels charity. (they were wonderful people) Then she connected me with Ana's Cleaning service who was excellent. I live in another state and Sonya made the whole process easy for me. Right away I knew she was the company for me. She was respectful and complimentary of my parents life long collections and home. There was an open line of communication throughout the process. The home was protected during the sale by her team and also floor coverings . The advertising was spot on as we had a huge attendance. I highly recommend Salvaged by Sonya. read more

After our youngest graduated from high school, my wife and I decided to downsize. In fact, we were planning on moving from our 4000+ sq ft house to a 36 ft sailboat. The thought of getting rid of the lifetime of stuff that we had accumulated was,at best, distressing. After removing the few items that we were taking with us and storing a few family heirlooms with which we couldn't bear to part, Sonya's crew came in and spent a week transforming our house into a virtual Walmart. They held the sale over a Friday and Saturday. What didn't sell was donated to another company that came in and took it away and we received a receipt for the tax deduction. After all was said and done, Sonya gave us itemized receipts for every item and a check for more than I was expecting and we didn't do any work.Sonya and her crew was polite, neat, and professional. I saw a very stern warning about wearing masks in the store. It's all fine and good to do that but I don't need to be lectured about it. They tend to be overpriced but I've purchased there before and it was a good experience. Perhaps, when the Covid craziness is past I will check them out. I have recently discovered this gem of a shop in Rockford. It is a fun place to shop because everything is unique and beautifully displayed....and the prices are quite reasonable as well. It's a little on the small size but I understand the shop will be moving around the corner in early 2014 to a bigger place. Looking forward to that. read more

you may be pleased with the service but try having them in your neighborhood - live on a cul-de-sac and this outfit tied our road up our very small for 3 days. The very least they could have done was to put flyers in our mailbox warning us of the inconvenience. No trash-pick either as the road was tied up with buyers. Good for them, bad for the neighborhood. Suggestion: when you take on a house on a cul-de-sac maybe move the stuff to an off site location. read more

She has a hand in re-doing old furniture & restoring pieces that otherwise would have been tossed. She's the friendliest woman, always has a smile on her face. I drove 1.5 hours to Rockford, IL for their estate sale. I was disheartened when I was told by a staff member that the item I was looking for was removed by the family before the sale. Another gal found it for me and it was only $5. Most prices were reasonable. Furniture was priced a little high but I could be wrong. Friendly and efficient staff, easy check out, no complicated rules, and a great overall experience. Got some good deals! Thank you! read more
