I found this place via Facebook. My sister, mom and i LOVE thrift store, Joanna Gaines refurbished…read moretype stuff, so we wanted to try it out. It's located downtown rockford, the do have street parking available, as well as some reserved spots to the left of the building. All the trinkets and furniture is from the rockford rescue mission thrift store and is refurbished by the Women's life Recovery program and some local 815 artists. The best part? 100% of the proceeds go to the Rockford Rescue Mission. The furniture that i saw today was SO nicely done, and honestly a fraction of the price of most places I've been in the area. There's picture frame, kitchen utensils, pillows, jewelry, baskets, something for everyone's taste and it's all hand remade! I LOVE the concept, the staff was SO friendly and eager to explain everything to us. They are currently working on a couple more tables and other furniture pieces i cannot wait to see what they put out next. If you love refurbished items and your not a DIY type person this is your place ! Check it out.

Take advantage of the clearance rack! There are some real gems there just waiting to be selected for a new home! I had to be selective​ because I was visiting from LA and didn't have the room in my suitcase to take a lot more back with me.
