We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. Thought it survived at first but later on the phone completely died and I was pretty convinced all my photos and stuff were gone for good. Someone told me to check this place out and I'm glad I listened. Alper was the one helping me and somehow got the phone working long enough to transfer everything over to my new phone. I honestly didn't think there was any chance of saving it. Super nice guy great service and they seriously saved me from losing a ton of important stuff. Couldn't thank them enough and definitely recommend this place.
