This location is in the same plaza as Ross and Boot Barn, with plenty of parking. Scheels in general is a dog friendly store, so I visited this store with my little girl dog and my husband. We were greeted by a few friendly employees when we entered the store. This store is a little smaller than some of the other locations that I have been to, as it did not have a ferris wheel in the middle of the store, but they do have a cafe that sells coffee and tasty sweets. There is also a bowling alley, which cost only $1 for 5 frames. My husband and I ended up playing a round each while we visited. Our visit was fun and pleasant. We enjoyed browsing the store after playing a short round of bowling. If I lived in the area, it is most likely that I would be a regular.

Everything was neatly arranged by genre and there was plenty of used inventory. With such a small amount of time to shop I made a beeline for the new arrivals and then the jazz section. I found three titles at reasonable prices and the owner (?) of the shop seemed genuinely okay with me being in the store five minutes past closing time. I didn't get a chance to explore the place as well as I wanted to, but I can tell you that there's a good hour of record shopping here even for the most seasoned of collectors and the location is part of a beautiful downtown area.
