Joe happened to be the agent that responded, and responded within minutes. We had a conversation about what we were looking for and where, and he added us to a list from which we received daily updates on new listings and price changes within the area that we were looking. We ended up finding a home that we wanted to view, and Joe made himself available and worked with our schedules at all times. The home that we visited did not fit our needs, but we did have one on our list and asked if we could go straight to that home from the first, and Joe made that happen. That is the home that we ended up purchasing. :) Joe sat us down and basically let us know how the process would now work, suggested a lender (Liza with Tidewater Mortgage was great), and communicated with us and the seller's agent on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, the seller involved in this transaction was less than easy to work with, but Joe made sure that we were treated fairly and gave us sound advice on the in's and out's of the processes, etc. We received a text or phone call from him weekly (sometimes daily) even if there were no updates on contract or mortgage sides. He always made himself available and responded quickly to any of our questions, and if he didn't have the answer, he would find it for us immediately. We even got a nice little personalized closing gift from him after signing our paperwork. Same day as move in, we noticed that one of the items (leak/moisture onto the kitchen ceiling) had come back, and he jumped on it for us ASAP. Made sure we were taken care of, and constantly checked back in with us to ensure everything was handled. Mind you, this was after closing, when many agents would take the 'I'm done, money made' approach. He even made recommendations to us when our heater went out, and the person that he suggested was AWESOME. We can not recommend him enough to anyone that is looking to buy OR sell, simply because he is so involved and truly cares about his job and his clients. Had we not had him in our corner throughout this process, I do believe that things would have been far more stressful and taken much more time. Thanks to Joe, we were able to move in, in our EXACT requested move in time frame, and spend Thanksgiving with our family in our new home. Thank you, Joe!!
