They are easy to talk to and you can tell they care about their patients. They listen to your concerns and work with you to formulate the best treatment plan. I've seen patients of all ages in for allergy shots and check-ups. What makes this office even more exceptional is the great staff that augment the doctors perfectly. I don't know everyone, but I can tell you Lacie and Cindy are some of the best around. They're great at what they do and do their best to make you feel welcome and at ease. If you have allergy issues or asthma or other stuff that makes your nose/lung area feel not so great...head on over and tell them I sent you. (it won't matter, but it'll be fun)

This year, my infant daughter had a reaction to food on a Saturday. Dr. Girdhar squeezed us in the following week, explaining the urgency of diagnosis and treatment for infants with potential food allergies. She quickly diagnosed and referred us to an expert in food allergy treatments. Furthermore, she has been in continuous communication about how to introduce additional potential allergenic foods, and has provided guidance and care along with way. The office staff are easy to reach and always get back to me promptly when I call or text with questions. They are also really kind people! I strongly recommend Dr. Girdhar's practice!

In 2003, I was laid up for 2 weeks at home with bronchitis. When I saw a new internist in 2008, he recommended that I see Dr. Jacobson, because of the numerous sinus infections I was continuing to experience. Since I saw Dr. Jacobson he had provided me with the right treatments that let me live a life without concern of asthma and allergies for over 15 years. It has been life changing for me. Under Dr. Jacobson's care I ran 13 marathons and rode my bike hundreds of miles each year. I never experienced any breathing problems. Dr. Jacobson's practice has a boutique feel to it. He takes whatever time is needed to provide a diagnosis and gives me all the time that I need to ask questions. He thinks outside the box, does whatever research is necessary, and develops innovative solutions to help me get well. He has a tremendous office staff that is very warm and welcoming when you come into his office. To me it feels like family. I feel that I have been provided the very best care. I have recommended Dr. Jacobson to other people numerous times. Peter Waldman

Dr. Jacobson gave me a ton of attention, he listened to all of my concerns, and with his help, my sinus infection is cleared up. Dr. Jacobson was able to have tele health visits with me that saved me from taking time off of work and he was genuinly interested in helping me. Sometimes, he would get backed up with other patients but he always made time to call me with updates on ct scans and lab work. He went above and beyond what I have come to expect from doctors. Even though I no longer have a sinus infection and as it turns out my allergies are minimal, I will continue to see him if I have any sinus issues.

Image Guided Superficial Radiotherapy (IG-SRT). Radiation and radioactivity were discovered more…read morethan 100 years ago. Today, radiation is an important part of cancer treatment and more than half of all people diagnosed with cancer received radiation as at least part of their cancer treatment. Just like from the initial time one started to develop skin cancer, a mutation took place in the genes of DNA. The same process is happening in radiation therapy, it works by damaging the cells DNA, this time the cancer cells, which prevents them from dividing and spreading any further. These cells will eventually weaken and are then eliminated from the body. Unique advancements in technology, such as IG-SRT, more healthy tissue is left unaffected. The radiation beam can adjust its shape and pinpoint the skin cancer cells, all while emitting the proper dose from imaging the tumor. This allows for healthy cells to be left behind allowing them to recompose if affected at all. Depth of penetration impacts the skin differently and allows for non-melanoma skin cancer treatment through UV radiation in controlled amounts. Because radiation therapy usually first damages cells undergoing mitosis, where the cell actually divides into two, the speed at which a tumor develops reflects how likely the cells will be affected by the radiation, known as radiosensitivity. This low-dose of radiation safely destroys non-melanoma skin cancer cells without damaging healthy surrounding tissue. There is no cutting or stitching, less risk for infection, and no need for reconstructive plastic surgery to repair surgical scars. Performed right in the physician's office, this alternative to surgery delivers optimum results to treat skin cancer without the negative side effects of invasive treatments. The SRT-100™ Vision machine has been cleared by the Federal Drug Administration for use on the entire body--making it especially effective in the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer and is ideal for patients who have existing medical conditions that may make surgery a serious health risk.
