After trying Amazon & websites of a variety of national retail chains by late Saturday afternoon I found Elmhurst Drugs Center online, a full local pharmacy that also carries a full line of surgical supplies. About an hour before closing time I made a call, describe what we needed, and I drove over there. The price was as good as any national retailer, the product was better designed and easier to install than those I had seen online, and the people at Elmhurst were very helpful. I recommend this store highly.

They always refill the medications in full. I use to go to the big drugstore and was always told to go back for the rest of the medications because they don't have it in stock. As an open heart patient I have my maintenance medicines filled up monthly and I am very glad I found this neighborhood pharmacy where everybody is courteous and pleasant. Ric the Pharmacist is a very nice man has a lot of patience. The place is always full and have a lot of customers, why...two words...EXCELLENT .SERVICE.. . Each had a different price. BUT Roosevelt Drugs had it even cheaper. If you have to pay all your own medical supplies expenses you must comparison shop here before you buy.

I saw a sorta pharmacy which has some kinda grocery stores with old items. I saw containers of water with dust on them. Not appealing. There was no system. a line sorta formed. Then people would come and either spoke Spanish or some Indian language, I guess, Urdu or something. They would seemingly get to the front of the line. I waited one hour and then they told me that I am out of luck. They should have told me that they did not have the prescription instead of having me wait one hour. It was faster for me to take the train to another subway stop and ask. At a Rite Aid, I waited 5 minutes and they told me that they do not have it. That is more professional and polite. I am not going back to Roosevelt Drugs & Surgical. Unprofessional, slow service and run down store. In addition, I could only get faster service if I spoke the language, Urdu or something.

But after a few days, they usually say they tried and you will have to have it sent it in... even though my pharmacy and doctor were never called. Most pharmacies will go to the end of the earth to get things transferred but not Amazon. Their phone representatives are all friendly but have no authority or knowledge and the pharmacists seem just a cut below normal pharmacists. But once you have all your drugs in the system, it's heaven. My insurance approves 90 day supplies.... which I never had at Ralphs's. And drugs arrive same day or next day. And the cost is so low. They give you the insurance price or their price... so can choose the lowest. It's a dream. Ask you doc to send in 90 day supplies with 3 refils and you'll be set for the year!

(Swollen arm , rash burning x 3 days) He said (pharm) . Just stop taking it and wait 3 months for the next refill. And we cannot request a new one until that's one is due Then you can call back for the new Rx. Originally I enrolled time about 9 months ago . At that time they Lost my medication. It was delivered to another person in another city . $8500. Was the cost of my medication. And all they said We are sorry and we have to wait for the request from the Dr. to send a new one. 1 month later I got it . You can never just select to call and speak to a real person/ pharmacist. You have to go thru the chat and ask after a 1 hr. Disappointment then you get a call . I would Never recommend Amazon. if you take important , $$$, or 1 st time members to this pharmacy selection . Think twice before transferring all the medication to them.
