This place is terrible. I went in to buy a cartridge for my gpen. The guy behind the counter immediately tried selling me products that I said I didn't want. All i wanted was the cartridge which he could have told me he didn't sell. He didn't know what I was talking about. He talked me into buying a much higher end vape pen for 250. He didn't tell me nor show me how to use it nor tell me i needed concentrate to use it. The box wouldn't open at home so i had to rip it. It was confusing as hell to set up. I tried to tape up the outside box, put everything back in the packaging and return it. He said because it was open, he couldn't give me the full amount back. I am going to dispute this charge at my bank. This place is a rip-off and the guy behind the counter was rude, discourteous, and didn't explain anything on how to use the product. The last person to review was like over a year ago so I thought I'd check this place out, it sucks ass guys. The prices are insanely high, and when you try to refund a DEFECTIVE battery they don't allow you to do so. Like what kind of crap is that? It's defective and it wasn't my fault that it was made that way, so why shouldnt I get a new one? I gave money for a working battery not a jank battery. Everyone says Uzi is nice and he is sometimes but I was in there last week, and he was sorta off, like he was "trying" too hard to be nice it just doesn't seem real to me. But like i said, it's not the best shop, you're better off going to Metropolis Smoke or Third Eye which is literally a 10 minute walk from Pipes. They actually let you return a factory defective product given the fact they make sure is actual factory, plus, EVERYONE that works there is always nice. Pipes can be talked down some for their prices which is okay, it's not horribly bad for the bring down price but even then they only do that for a few items, metropolis AND Third Eye does it for a lot of items if you're willing to buy, and since their prices are already super low I mean... uzi is an okay person, the store is okay, but their refund policy is absolutely ridiculous and so are their prices for Juuls, pods, etc. they have a huge selection of bongs and pipes which I actually think is pretty dope because at least then I can choose from a huge variety than just a couple of pieces that all look the same, but their prices are getting to me. And they don't even know what they are selling half the time.. and i have legit seen with my own eyes, little kids probably still in middle school walk out with mysterious bulges in their pockets... like seriously? parents beware! SOME of their products work after two weeks, others DO NOT. I mean cmon pipes, hit the grindstone and change because, Pipes and stuff just isn't it unless you wanna pay for just above average quality at a luxury price. read more

I bought a product here that broke two weeks after I bought it. The guy at the desk confirmed that a specific attachment would work with a device I already owned. Only after confirmation of this and a guarantee that if the attachment failed, it would be replaced free of charge did I buy it. After it broke I went to the store and was told that this agreement never took place. After calling his bluff on talking to the manager the subject was changed and I was told I am unable to be worked with. No store credit was offered. No refund. I've been conned out of $80. I will return tomorrow to talk to the owner. read more

I was a customer here since their early days. Prices are a little high but you can negotiate. However I will not be shopping here anymore. I was sold a defective product, brought it back within an hour only to be told I can't get a refund or even store credit. After going back and forth with the store owner for 20 minutes, he finally gave me store credit for not even 1/3rd of what I spent ($200), and I gave him back the item. There's plenty of other smoke shops around I can care less for this one. read more

Uzi, this one goes out to you. I got a call yesterday from my best friend indicating there was a huge sale around the block from his house at a shop we had never heard of before 'Pipes and Stuff'. Lets take it back a second, I havent had the best experiences when it comes to head shops, unfortuantely there is a particular ambiance at most of the locations which make you slightly reluctant to open up to the sales people. Pipes and Stuff knows how to avoid this, they oblige all of the tobacco laws, but at least they don't make you feel like a clown the whole time your there.. Actually, quite the opposite. At first, it started with Uzi's cousin approaching my housemate Ryan noticing he was interested in the 710 sale. Uzi quickly took ryan through his suggestions and spent at least 45 minutes looking for what would suffice for Ryan, and honestly, Ryan's a needly individual when it comes to his glass, fill this with water, little less, little more.. Etc etc.. And Uzi never seemed bothered, only ready to help, wanting to help my friend find his perfect piece. It wasn't just that, it was the response I got to a question: "How do you guys afford to do this sale, I mean the profit margin must be huge" The shops answer from Uzi's cousin: 'Well, we've been doing really well lately so once or twice a year we like to give back, its not about the profit its about the community' To me, that spoke volumes about what this shop is about.. The community? Does anyone even recognize communities anymore.. Pipes and Stuff does. So Uzi, and Uzi's cousin, thank you so much me my friends and Ryan had a great time at the shop joking around with you guys and we are super thankful for the pieces. I bought a pax 3 from the owner himself, before leaving the store he told me to contact him if anything went wrong. Three months later my pax was busted! Which is strange cause I clean it on a weekly basis and I'm pretty carful with it. I contacted Uzi(the owner) like he instructed me to do if anything ever went wrong with it. His response was to contact pax for a replacement.... Okay, very good idea! But something I didn't need to contact you for. Uzi pretends to be all about the customer but I only see a greedy store owner who doesn't care what he has to say to make a sale. It's a sad truth but I will not be returning here. After being a customer of his for almost the past 5 years. I'm very disappointed in his empty promises. After contacting pax it looks like I'll be left wanting for a few weeks. Even though over the phone Uzi said turn around time 3-5 days. This guy knows absolutely nothing about the vapes he's selling. read more
