The son of the (Owner) was extremely knowledgeable and it was a very small fix and with him running all kinds of tests to see if it was just the needle. He determined it was just that part that I needed and advised I could get it online for much cheaper than it would cost to have a repair shop fix it and even went so far as to provide me with the part number and told me how to do it once I received the part. He was also in the process of closing but helped me anyway. He went over and above what anyone would do in this scenario. My goto service company for appliances is "Mr. Appliance" in many other cities. I've used this company in general for many MANY years, however, not this particular location/office. I've had exceptional very extremely knowledgeable service for appliances every single time I've called Mr. Appliance in other cities and that was why I felt confident in calling for service from this location. I originally requested service online. I received an email that a tech would be able to service in the morning between the hours of eight and noon then I get a call from their office stating they do not service washer dryer combos. Which is odd because this is the main service that I've had done in various other cities through the same company. However, this office here is unable to service combo units, which doesn't make any sense. Then I called back to ask to speak to someone else, and it was the same lady that had called me and she said the same thing which was the weirdest thing. So I think that if this office can't do something that simple they are either extremely incompetent or just not someone that should be franchising Mr. Appliance in this area. The person on the phone referred me to Michaelson's Appliance Repair of Tampa Bay... even odder. So either the franchise person is incompetent or the ones that run Mr. Appliance in the area is a scam & they refer out.
