They call me every now and then asking me to remove my review because low numbers hurt their overall rating. Their tech fixed my washing machine but made my icemaker worse. I requested they send him back out to restore it to its prior working condition where it was simply an annoyance, not totally useless. That was the last I ever heard from them. read more

Update: it was never the gasket seal that was bad. It was the damper which the new technician replaced. And the seal that Mark's Appliance made me pay $400 I could have gotten off Amazon for almost free. It is of lower quality than the original that is on the freezer side. Totally disappointed with Mark's Appliance. But I have now found a new company and my refrigerator works like a charm. read more

We agreed to a time to meet at my house, the tech showed up on time, he even sent me a photo of himself by his company vehicle. He did a thorough check of my refrigerator and determined what the problem was. He showed me the price which was very reasonable. He fixed it, explained a few things to me then departed. I have to say I was extremely disappointed. I was not able to stay for the service. My elderly husband met the technician here instead of me. The technician was here for all of 10 minutes and charged a $185 service fee. The problem was that the door on the trash compactor was not entirely closed, and that is why it would not start. All he did was close the door. It was absolutely outrageous that they charged us that fee for doing nothing other than closing the door. I feel like this company grossly took advantage of my husband. If it were me here, I would never have paid that amount. Shame on them! I will definitely call the state and report this company for taking advantage of a senior. read more

I called Mark appliance repair because my refrigerator stopped cooling. They came and said it was an easy fix that I only needed Freon. I asked him if the fix was worth it because he told me it cost $300 dollars. He also told me that I would have a 90-day warranty. 3 weeks later the refrigerator started to fail again. I called, they came to give it service, he told me to wait 24 hours for it to work. I called again for the technician to return and they told me they would call me back. Nobody called me or contacted me, until I decided to contact them again and they told me that I had to change the compressor, which would cost me 1 thousand dollars plus 200 dollars in labor. I called and it was answered by an answering service and appt was given promptly on a dryer issue. 1st time out bearings on dryer were replaced and dryer was fixed. Hour later it stopped working. 2nd visit all they did was trip the breaker and said it was fixed. Hour later it stopped working again. I didn't let them come back out a 3rd time after all the run around and different excuses. I asked for a refund and they said no because it was the electrical issues at my home and needed an electrician. So I had to pay another company to come fix the dryer. read more

Their rating was also very high, so I made an appt for them to evaluate my refrigerator repair needs and my garbage disposal. The repairman was able to easily get my disposal running so I was only charged $79 for the trip. My refrigerator was 14 years old and beyond repair. The repairman was very knowledgeable and respectful. I will call them again if I have any problems with my appliances. read more

We contacted Marks Appliances to repair a 3- year old refrigerator, in which the bottom fridge was warm and the top freezer was working fine. We contacted the service tech 8 days later when the same issue occurred. He returned without doing any service to the product, stated it needed to be defrosted (it is a frost free fridge) and left. This made zero sense and did not fix the problem so we had to call another company out to resolve the issue at 1/3rd the price. Although Marks appliances website claims they have a one year warranty on their service, they did not stand behind it. read more

After a weekend of my fridge basically dying on me- I called Mark Appliance Repair on Monday morning and by Monday afternoon they had a fabulous technician come into the house to diagnose the problem and draw a repair plan. Evgeny Pavlov was amazing. He explained the issue and reassured/kept me informed along the way. I for sure thought I was going to have to buy a new refrigerator, but thanks to Evgeny I only had to replace the fan. I found the work to be reasonably expensive- especially given how quick he came into the house and fixed my fridge. They came out quickly for the service call on our stove and came back the next day and fixed our front burner. Cost was $436 parts and labor. Later that night our clock on the stove and oven were not working. He came out and told us it was the receptacle was burnt and we needed to go to Home Depot and get a new plug and new receptacle. We paid for the parts. We paid people he recommended $200 to run a water line for our icemaker. The icemaker did not work. The frig and stove are only 1 year old. LG sent a new icemaker. They came out and installed the new icemaker and installed a lled the new receptacle and plug and charged us $370. They did not tell us it would cost so much for 2 hours labor. Would have been nice and that was with repeat customer discount. read more

We highly recommend Mark Appliance. Their technician replaced a fan on our fridge which at first did the trick. Our fridge went on the blink once again though, and a second fan was installed free of charge. This time we were also advised to get a surge protector to the electrical outlet to prevent further damage to the second fan. So, not only did Mark Appliance get our fridge working again, but they diagnosed the cause of our faulty fans. Lightning strikes wreck havoc on our electrical system. No wonder our A/C and fridge went out at the same time. I would never have connected the two isolated events. Thank you Mark Appliance !!! read more

Mark fixed 3 of our appliances. He was on time, communicated ahead of time, and did a great job on all three. Our washer had a small problem that he didn't even charge for; but for our Dishwasher and Ice Maker he did all the necessary work and put time into it and they work great now. He was very professional and explained things well, and charged a fair price from my experience. I could tell that Mark wanted to help us and not just charge money, and I'm someone who usually doesn't trust people so it was comforting to see that. The prompt response and arrival was the best thing about this experience. I can not give them enough props for immediately responding to my request and arriving at 9am on a Saturday morning to fix my washing machine. The reason I only gave the three stars is because not only was the repair person unfriendly but they charged me $400 for about an hour and a half worth of work. I understand that it is a service that I could not go without but a tiny bit of kindness would go a long way toward making the experience more pleasant. I was told that no washer in the world would have been able to withstand the rug I tried to wash and that I should never put anything other than small loads of clothing in my front load washer. All of this might be true but if you are going to charge someone that much money, to fix a machine that is only 3 years old, don't lecture them on top of it, especially since I could have purchased a new machine for a little bit more. read more

The technician told me they couldn't get the part (control board) for my refrigerator until February - at least six weeks. I declined and paid the $60 service fee. Who can go six weeks w/o a refrigerator? I then found the part online and fixed it myself (with the help of YouTube). If I could find the part and half it shipped next-day, why couldn't Mark? Started to do things to the appliance that had nothing to do with the issue. I was in critical need of someone to come out immediately for my rental property and now nothing got resolved.
