So, this particular laundry mat has a lot of work that needs to be done. It's not in a bad location. But the fact that so many of the washers were out of order, didn't work, same with the dryers. There wasn't a Laundry attendant on site either. So if worst case, I was using a machine and it took my money or something like that what would I do? Who would I go to if I am having an issue with any of the machines? Or what if worst case there's some kind of malfunction where it requires the attention of an employee working there? And it was pretty messy. Not well maintained at all. It looked like no one had cleaned it in a bit. read more

Been coming to this place for 10 years and it has been going downhill year after year. There are a lot of broken machines, the bathroom is never open, the drink and snack machines are also broken with products that have beet marinating in there for years, the bench in the back had been broken for probably 5 years, and there were cockroaches crawling on the floor. 7/15/23 As stated by other reviewers, there really are a lot of washers and dryers that are out of order. It kind of creates a negative atmosphere. My issue is the lack of AC on a 90 degree Santee summer day, and ONE fan operating is not cutting it. The second one is probably "out of order" as well. 3 stars is generous! read more

I brought a comforter to be cleaned and dried. When I took the comforter out of the dryer there were black stains all over it. It's ruined!

Ok I have always been willing to pay more to wash and carry my clothes out instead of using the baskets since theirs are intentionally too tall to take out. But I like the fact that they are usually not terribly busy. I'd prefer to wash here over the laundromat on Navajo by taco bell strictly because they aren't as busy. I don't want to fight for a table or a dryer etc. . HOWEVER when the inside of your business smells like manure on fire.... you should temporarily close up shop and fix the problem. I got all my clothes into washers and walked toward the bathroom (that has an out of order sign on it) and it's all I could do not to vomit. I wish I'd known it would be this bad before loading all my clothes. I'd have left long ago. No way I can fold clothes here. It smells terrible. Gotta find a new laundromat. read more

I will never go back to this laundromat again! First of all, I had to step over a homeless guy sleeping on the floor to get to a washing machine. I feel sorry for the man, but it was very uncomfortable for me since I was the only other person in the room. Second, the washing machines do not get your clothes clean. And half of the machines are not working. I don't think anybody maintains these machines they just take the money out! Third, now they make you use an app to pay for the big washing machines and all the dryers. Which means you have to send your credit card information to some strange app that I've never heard of. I refuse to do that. They have coin operated machines in there, but you can't use the coin to operate them. I think it's because they're too lazy to go to the bank and get quarters but I don't know. All I know is I will never go back there again because it's a waste of time and money! read more

It is SUPER clean, they play great rock music and I love that they decorate for holidays. My last visit happened to be the morning of July 4th and it was so nice to see the patriotic decor! Even though I own a washer and dryer, I needed a large washer to wash my King size comforter. The attendant was there cleaning and was very helpful. My comforter came out very nice and the extra large dryer fluffed and dried it. The premises are kept very clean. I am so happy I have a place to clean my comforter in the future. read more

There's hardly ever anyone working there , and the change machines are iffy on when they work so bring the right amount of quarters or you'll be SOL or running back and forth to dollar tree for change (who make you buy something first). (P.S. $20 bill= $20 in quarters, unlike other places) then half the machines are always out of service, and the ones that do work are more expensive than other places- $3 for the smallest 1 load washer, .50/10 Min dry time and after 25 min my 1 load is still half wet but after running all around I have to just leave with damp clothes. 10/10 don't recommend. read more

came to wash this morning put my load in at #41 ,took my $8 added both laundry detergent and softwner, machine briefly started and then in a minute start to ask for another $8 and suddenly stopped. This is my go-to place when I need all my laundry done in one hour. The place is clean and has a relaxing ambiance.....as long as there aren't a lot of kids around. The facility is kept nice and there are a lot of helpful notes posted around. I've overheard the owner talk about the process of soap dispersement in one of the front load washers. It was a little over my head, but can tell he knows his laundry. If I would recommend something, it would be to have more seating. read more

I had to get my comforters washed and our washer & dryer at my place is not large enough for them. So I brought ALL the laundry I had with me, figured I'd just do ALL my laundry while I'm there! But after walking through the place and looking at the machines and the prices, I changed my mind! The regular size machines (same ones our complex has) was $2.75 a load!!! (Ours is $1.25-$1.75 depending on load size). So instead of doing ALL my laundry there, I ONLY washed the comforters and took the rest back home to do. Their large machines are $8.00 a load!! ‍ WOW! Place is very clean. Plenty of washers/dryers to use. Two coin machines and a detergent dispenser. Two flat screen TVs and plenty of space to fold or sit while you wait. Only gripe is the cost. The big washer machines cost $7.50. I'm not sure the going rate at other places but thought it was too high. read more

Really disappointed. I come here weekly, I understand we're in a pandemic, but they raised their prices a lot! $0.50 to dry for 5 minutes! Then $0.25 for each additional 5 mins. I spent almost $30 on maybe 4 loads of laundry. I understand small businesses are hurting, but that's steep. Almost $4 to dry a load. $3.25 for a single top load wash. Makes me sad. I always came here because it's a small business. I live nearby. I feel safe. Even when it's 100° out & no air conditioning inside, the bathroom smells like sewage and often doesn't work, the machines flood. I still came here. I was in shock at my visit Friday with the price increase. I understand they can't do the 30 mins for $0.50 forever. But at least go back to like 8 mins. Such a bummer... This has been my go to laundromat for five years. Always clean and always a positive experience. So why only two stars? Well, the last three weeks I've been here the restroom has been locked. For me it isn't a big deal, but I've seen several older patrons become very frustrated. On average I spend about two hours at this facility. I'm sure others average the same. Keeping the restroom locked seems ridiculous. The first time I wrote it off as "oops, someone didn't make sure it was unlocked", but three weeks in a row is an obvious choice they are making. I'm not really sure why this decision was made; perhaps too many homeless using it; but in light of the recent Hep A breakout, it seems irresponsible at the very least. Like I said, not an issue for me per se, but overall poor business practice. What's going on management? You have always been better than this. read more
