They had a huge selection of antiques and vintage clothes, furniture, decor, etc. it was fun just to walk around and look at everything! Everything is reasonably priced compared to expensive thrift stores in LA. Everyone who worked there were also very nice and we ended up having a fun chat with our cashier about ghosts and how the place used to be haunted too. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Things are piled on top of things, and it's small and cramped, so you can't really move things around. I took my time looking and being careful not to break anything when I needed to reach or dig. They have cameras in every direction to catch you stealing, so I guess they've had problems before. Many interesting items though. When I paid for my items, the man said, "You really like to dig!" And I said, "Well, I had to. Look at this place!" I don't think he was listening to my answer. He also talked to me about VHS movies and told me he had just sold an old TV with built-in VCR "from 1950". Lmao. OK, guy.

I brought in several articles of clothing for resale. They were highbrow alternative and vintage…read moreitems. Some of the stuff included hardly worn plus size steel-boned corsets, TUK Creepers, and a vintage coat. It was two younger women working whom clearly didn't bother even googling my items. They also told me to "come back closer to Halloween" even though those items are quality "everyday" wear for alternative people. If you're going to be accepting resale, it's probably a good idea to educate your buyers about the various styles and brands that exist outside of their own recognition. I've always recommended Uptown Cheapskate to others for buying and selling. Now, I feel alienated as a customer, plus sized woman, and alternative person.
