So I ask if I can have the prices on two. Both were quite expensive, upwards of $50. Another man has now joined the original man at the counter. I say, do you have anything smaller or less expensive? They dismissed me immediately. No, no, no. No solution or additional assistance offered. One man actually swatted his hand at me as though he wanted me to leave. I said ok, not very helpful, and they actually laughed at me. Then they HISSED AT ME as I left the store. When I repeated this encounter to some neighborhood friends, they were not surprised, said this store has a reputation for being rude and more so in the way they treat women. Completely unacceptable.

These guys are personable, professional and a nice addition to the neighborhood. I'm glad they're here. They introduced to me some fruit liquors for cooking/baking that have been useful. Also, I found that a single malt whisky called Rampur (from India) is a top-notch spirit, less costly than anything else from Europe--and every bit as flavorful (IMHO). A tremendous amount of inventory is on display in the space--kind of an organizational feat in a way. A fairly wide selection of snacks is available too. Plenty of parking, and hours of operation can't be beat (open every day).
