Decided to go for dinner as I hadn't been in a long time. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Ordered the "Double D" and the amount of food was incredible. It includes Nachos, fries, chicken strips, deep fried pickles, wings, shrimp and mozzarella sticks. The only problem I had was the mozzarella sticks were still cold. My partner and I were in town for a wedding, staying at a nearby Airbnb and needed a place to eat. I searched TripAdvisor for something close by under the cheap eats as we weren't looking to spend or eat a lot. There were only a few places that came up other than your fast food chains, and this was one of them and it had good reviews so we decided this was it. This place isn't much to look at, but not what you would call run down either. If first impressions are anything, you probably would not step foot in this place, but once inside it does not look nearly as bad as it does from the outside. The server's t-shirt says it all though, as parking is not adequate for the establishment. There is street parking however which accommodates quite well, just be careful what time of the month. Service was quick and attentive, and they were very good about portioning our food on separate plates when we said we were splitting a meal. This is something that is always appreciated. Although this is kind of considered a sports bar, they have a variety of different menu items including pasta. You will also find wraps, sandwiches, salads, hamburgers and ribs as well. They do not have much in the way of beers on tap however, only two and not sure if they change or not. We split a chicken and cheese wrap, a take on a phalli cheese sandwich. The taste was good, but I found it a little too juicy and oily for my liking. The fries however were great, and the meal tasty and satisfying enough that I would not hesitate to go back. There were several other items that I would certainly have tried, and the costs were fare for all of the items. We would definitely go back here in the future. The establishment is much larger than it looks, and there is even a back room where they can do larger groups. May consider doing a group motorcycle ride here. read more

First time visiting this place. It was for a surprise birthday party for someone that is a frequent visitor. Our party of 30 had the whole downstairs area which was nice. The staff were kept very busy all the while showing no signs of stress. The menu is quite extensive. There is a daily soup although we were never told what it was. At least 5 White wine options on the menu but only two red. Everyone's order came out around the same time in pretty much the order it was placed which is pretty impressive. No errors that I heard of. My party of two ordered 2lbs of wings, chicken fingers and fries, 2 wines and 2 beer. The dry Cajun wings were pretty much flavourless. The Starwarz wings were well received although nothing to die for. The chicken fingers were your typical chicken fingers. Not sure if the plum sauce was homemade or not but it too was pretty flavourless. I asked for mayo on the side, three times before I finally received it and was charged for it. The total bill was $53 before tip. While the service was good and food was okay, this place is nothing to write home about. No reason to rush back unless you just want to fill the hole inexpensively. read more

For a great meal at a great price, this is it... you may actually find yourself substituting the names of the days of the week with the special of the day at Sammy's! Wednesday nights are pretty much a staple, a pint of beer and a pound of the best wings in town for under Ten Bucks. if you're starving just tell them to 99 them and they'll heap as many fries on the side as they can! The $10.99 sirloin steak dinner on Thursdays is pretty tough to beat, all you can eat wings Mondays and fish n chips Fridays, ribs Saturdays.. the list goes on. You may find yourself squirting a bit of vinegar on the table to give it an extra wipe but the food is top notch for the price! read more
