My review is solely for the Tires/Auto Center: I recently had my tires rotated for free on my EV (this comes with purchasing tires at Sam's Club). My prior experience was solely with Discount Tire. The service itself met expectations. However, you have to call the club to make appointments rather than book online. I was also disappointed that my appointment took 50 minutes, which usually takes 20 min elsewhere. It's hard to complain about free, but I do wish a better expectation would've been set on how long the appointment takes when I called. Lesson learned. On the plus side - you get a voucher for a free pizza or hotdog combo to use while you wait. read more

This is what it is. Not my favorite Sam's Club location in the world but it isn't the worst. It's a little dirty and dingy and those that work there are a little interesting with communication at times, but it still serves its purpose. What you see is what you get! The gas prices are the best. You definitely get your monies worth based off of that alone.. Also, I love Sams for bulk house products such as paper towels, trash bags, detergent, water, etc. The meat department isn't great but it isn't bad, I have noticed that it is really dependent on the day and the time of day so if that is something that is important to you then it is also worth talking to those that work in the meat department because they can give you some good insight. The parking is a nightmare.. also the gas area is too (they only have like 10 pumps) which is not a lot for the volume! read more

This location stays busy no matter the day or time but stopping here on a weekend is a nightmare. I get that they are trying to push using the app to checkout. But on a busy Saturday night they only had 2 self checkout open and 2 lanes w/cashiers with 4-5 employees walking around telling people to download the app instead of using those people to open more registers, kind of ridiculous. My phone was on 7% when I was approached to download the app. I declined because I planned to get pizza after which was a whole additional chaotic situation. If I pay on the app and my phone dies before getting to the door then what? Other locations are also often busy but I do prefer others to this one for a better variety of products. read more

Your delivery service is terrible!! No one answers the phone at this club and when they do answer all they want to do is blame their third party delivery driver and when you call Spark they blame Sam's. When I called Sam's today they told me my order from yesterday was cancelled, no notice or email at all. So I placed another order to be expedited today for delivery for $8 and to be delivered by 12:13. It is now 4:28 and no order. Called the club again and was told the manager Miles Hunt was too busy to help me. Called Spark and they told me my second order was cancelled. Unbelievable! I have 2 charges on my account and no delivery. One of the reasons they told me is they were short handed. Well shut the online delivery down. POOR customer service. I would not recommend doing business with this club! read more

The online orders and curbside assistance has been without error for the past year ; at various locations. I really value the consistency from location to location. The process is quick and easy. We get our prescriptions filled at the pharmacy and the people who work there are wonderful. Very friendly and kind. We just switched pharmacies for a pain med for our senior dog and the Pharmacist (I believe her name was Anna) went above and beyond by calling our Vet to get as much information as she could to make sure our 13 year old family member stays pain free. We appreciate the staff and the smiles we get when we go there! read more

You can donate your used glasses so they can help someone else see better. Overall even though Sam's Club optical is outside my VSP insurance it still saved more money going through insurance than trying to take advantage of the straight 20 dollars off promotion they were running. It took a little while to get my authorization but after that picking out options and extras for my lenses to go with the Tory Burch frames I wanted was pretty straight forward. read more

I am reviewing the recent delivery from Sam's Club. I am not felling well so I tried the Sam's delivery. I ordered 12 items and I only received 6. So I had to wait for an online chat representative and spend time going through the items I didn't receive. I can understand getting 1 item incorrect but 6 is unbelievable. I called your establishment not this Wednesday but the Wednesday before and I clearly stated that I am a working whipmaster and I also clearly stated I would be in front of your store just after 3pm until about 4:15 pm, cracking my whip. Another terrible experience at Sam's Club/Walmart. "Instant savings" features a Thompson 7 c.f. chest freezer for $139.99, a savings of $40 and free shipping. I add this item to my cart on the 15th and get a message that says the item must be paid by the 17th in order to still receive the sale price. Unfortunately I waited until the last day, Sunday the 16th, to order and missed out of the free shipping as by this time the stock for online showed zero. But the website showed that I could still add the item to my cart and pickup in multiple stores the next day for $139.99, not as easy as the free shipping but still a good deal. During check out I was given the option to "pay in store" or "pay online". I reviewed this throughly and decided to select "pay in store" since I had a few gift cards and didn't want to try to use them online; plus the prior message that indicated that I must pay by the 17th. Once I arrive in store I asked the greater what to do, she politely directed me to a green kiosk labeled "club pickup". This kiosk has you select which "club lane" you will be at and promises "an associate will be with you shortly". After a couple minutes someone starts yelling "hey!" and waves me over to a small desk by customer service. After some trouble with the scanner things get rolling and the price appears as $179.99 plus tax. I explain that this is not the correct price and offer to show the digital recpiet that was sent to me. Nope. He doesn't seem to care, but quickly tells something like "oh, are you talking about the instant savings? That ended yesterday". A second associate agrees and I begin laughing, as this is the absurdity of 50% of my interactions with the Sam's Club/Walmart brand. Rather quickly someone suggests giving me a gift card for the $40 difference, I decline and state that I followed the procedure as stated onlins, I have an emailed receipt and that they will charge me $139.99. Eventually this works out, but not before the employees make it clear that they are "doing me a favor". I stop them right there and say "you're doing me a favor? REALLY? By following your own system??!!" Sam's: "yes, we ARE doing you a favor. The sale is over." Me: "I have the email and I read the site throughly", again the associates have no interest in the receipt. I then explain/rant that every time I shop at Sam's Club or Walmart, if anything goes wrong, it's always the same response: the customer is wrong, the store is right. How many times have I shopped at Walmart at 5pm-6pm and been stuck down an aisle because they are pulling by pallets onto the floor, at rush hour? Then only half the registers are open, again, at rush hour. These chains literally HATE the customer. "Oh, but we'll do you a favor". Why are they doing the CUSTOMER a favor? At both chains I've been told I was being done a "favor" after trying to buy a discounted/clearance item that rung up for the original price. This is so common place that I now take a picture of the item and the shelf tag showing the discounted price to prove that there system is wrong, but I still get they "we'll give you the price, this time". Back to the point, eventually I got the advertised price and a fine gentleman helped me load it in the back of a suburban. For the record, I normally shop in Eau Claire. I rarely come to Minneapolis or I would be a member of COSTCO. Clearly the upper management has lost the vision of Sam Walton many, many years ago or else this would not be another "normal" visit to Sam's Club/Walmart. Someone needs to remind management that Sam Walton modeled his chains after the work of Sol Price. In the end, is anything associated with Walmart really worth the price? Cheap isn't cheap when experiences like this are common place. More and more I buy everything used; why buy the unheard of brand Thomson for $139.99 and get to deal with this when I could have bought a used Kenmore or other name brand for $50-$75 used? I am wondering if the associates have the power to do all these "favors", maybe I should start haggling???? Now that would entice me to shop under the Walton banner guilt free.i read more

This store has the absolute rudest employees. I get it's the holiday season, that we're in the middle of a pa remix, but it's no excuse. I was trying to get gas and there was no signs pointing to any sort of line. The parking lot is a mess as is. I go and pull into a spot and an attendant comes up to my car. She sticks her face in my window in my face waving her finger SCREAMING that I had to go to the back of the line line anyone else. She was so close if she wasn't masked she would have been spitting in my face. The employees here could learn some people skills. read more

I've been a loyal shopper for over 20 years. It is where I buy most of my clothes and groceries and automotive items. I have only recently discovered the low prices in the liquor store, too. I really appreciate the helpful associates and their cheerful manner. I checked out Costco, for what it's worth, and couldn't find a good reason to move my shopping experience from Sams. When I have an issue, I have always found them accommodating and fair. read more

Things have really improved here. I decided to go in with a visitor's pass, as I want to buy a membership but have hated this location in times past. With this in mind, I think things are really improved. The employees were all super nice and helpful. One employee actually dropped what she was doing to help me find the precooked bacon I need for an oversees trip. It's so hard to find American bacon in Europe. On the Saturday I went, there were lots of people, but everything was moving super fast. I only waited about ten seconds to check out, and there were also food samples galore everywhere I went. One could get filled up on those alone. There was a nice selections of everything, and I will be back. I'll have to keep my eyes open for another groupon membership. Update September 2017: After seeing the improvements here, I took the leap of faith and bought a membership. I didn't get a Groupon deal, but I found a pretty good deal anyway. Since getting the membership, I've been here four times. Each time, it's been great. No waiting in line...Period. They've got their app and self checkout. It's a easy and breezy. Everyone knows Sam's has good deals, but waiting in line for a century was the deal breaker. That problem is gone now. Highly recommended now. read more

Great place to get huge amounts of things for cheap deals. Even better if you have a big family. If not, great place to buy non-perishable things such as laundry/dish detergent, toilet paper, razor head replacements etc. You won't have to buy them for a while. which in turn, saves you money in the long run. The downside? The demo-ers here (or i'm sure at any sam's club) need to lay off. They're WAY to aggressive. If you ignore them, they practically run after you to get you to pay attention to them so they can try to get you to buy their item because they're paid on commission. If i happen to approach your table to look at what you have, THEN tell me about what you're selling. But if i'm 20 feet away, please don't be obnoxious. read more

My friend ordered her wedding cake from this bakery. I went to pick it up the day of her wedding, and it was HOT PINK, not blush/light pink as she ordered. They provided me with a $25 discount, but that's it... They said that they could have fixed it, but it would have taken three hours, and I didn't have that kind of time. I ended up going to a local bakery for help at least with the color (Queen of Cakes in Edina - AMAZING!), and they took it out of the box to find that it was leaning... They took it apart and didn't find ANY supports in it. (I didn't drive like a maniac - I had it in my trunk with heavy boxes all around it so that it wouldn't lean!) Queen of Cakes in Edina replaced the cake and delivered it to the reception on time. This bakery is a joke. read more

I love sam's club, unfortunately this isn't my favorite location. It is always extremely busy and the employees are not pleasant to deal with. I usually go out of my way to head to the Maple Grove location, for obvious reasons. This store is usually dirtier, not as well stocked, and sometimes their pricing is a little higher. Who wants to buy 3 pounds of grapes for 8$ (yes 8 freaking dollars); in maple grove, I would pay a maximum of 6$ and that's during the off seasons. I wouldn't recommend this place for your everyday shopping needs, but if you needed something quick this place would suffice. It should also be noted that they DO NOT TAKE VISA or most other credit cards (they do however take diners club, because we all carry that card around!!) Now, the good; their gas prices are the best around!! But the line to buy gas is just as awful! read more

This one star goes to the tire department at this location. I've been a member for over 10 years and the customer service I received from Christen was horrendous. I came in on a Tuesday to get my tires done and windshield wipers done and waited for 25 minutes for assistance and nothing. I'm so sick of the lack of customer service at this location it's sad. So I will be cancelling my membership and going to Costco. read more

this morning at 6:02 i arrived at Sams for gas. today was the 4th time i was unable to get gas because the pumps were not working. i talked with another customer who said he complained to the manager. he said the manager didn't care which is obvious since this issue has been ongoing for a month. its time for a new manager that values customers. i'm tired of wasting time and i bet the cars that were backed up to the street are not too happy about it either. read more

While I love just about every thing at Sam's they are dropping some of their items for what we call "cheaper" stuff. Hubby loves the mixed nuts but the brand he normally gets will no longer be offered by Sam's they are going with the "cheaper" brand. So hubby thought he would give it a try. First mistake was the nuts advertised on the bottle were NOT the nuts inside. Second mistake was learning that the nuts did not come from the USA. And that they left the worst taste in your mouth. It's like they are not "REAL" Nuts. We are noticing that there are a few other items that are coming from different countries replacing the ones Sam's used to sell. Literally the worst Sam's I've ever been tormented with. I bought snow tires this winter and had to jump through 1000 hoops to have them installed. I called everyday for over a week before speaking with someone and setting an appointment that still was over a week later. When they were finally installed, I was told to bring the car back once the weather was consistently warmer to have my original tires put back on there. Today, I have been on hold again for way too long only for the person to tell me to try another location because they are not open yet. With the pandemic, that part is valid so I was understanding but I had to literally press the guy for more information on a location that could actually remove the snow tires before next month when they anticipate opening again. Finally reached another location and wasn't able to set an appointment until another week. If I had known this would be my tire experience at Sam's, I would have most definitely shopped elsewhere. Absolutely the worst Sam's club I have ever been in. No consistency to where items are.

I was at this location the Thursday before Labor Day. I had just finished shopping for a weekend party at the cabin. The lines where long (to be expected). After being in the store for roughly 45 minutes I get to the checkout and the cashier tells me that the credit card machine has been down all day. I tell him it would have been nice for the lady that said hi when I walked would had warned me. When I ask to talk to a manger he gets into my face and starts yelling at me asking if I have a problem with him. He then tells me the manager is is over there if you want her go get her yourself. I ask him to please go and get his manager for me and he gets in my face again. Finally a manger comes over and removes him from the register. All this happened with my three year old in the cart. Need less to say I asked for my membership to be refunded. read more
