No matter what time of day I come to this place it seems to be no carts. So, I have gotten use to just getting the carts out of the parking lot. The bathroom my word! You would think a place that people are dealing with food, and the public would have a clean restroom. Naw! It always smells like urine. You mean all those products in the back and none are being used for cleaning! Now! I will say that the customer service is touch and go. I am not one for age discrimination but the individuals that seem to be over 40 have better service. Like they smile, they are helpful. They speak. The younger ones it is like you are in their way. I want to say without consumers you don't have a job. We help each other out. I know having all these people around can be an inconvenience when you are stocking but blame your management not us. The lines! Why does this store only have one human working the register and one helping with self check out? It is a nightmare. Please get two more people. It would just make more logistical sense. Scan and Go is a nightmare at times for the cafe. If I order a cheese pizza and 4 hot dog combos. Why would you give me my pizza and cups and I stood there waiting on my hot dogs for 15 minutes. Now I know you may say oh they were being cooked. No! The young lady was handing them out at the register. This is on 01/03/2025. I had to ask for my hot dogs. It is annoying! I wish I can give this place zero stars! It is ridiculously disgusting from the moment you drive into the parking lot the streets of this place is full of trash and baskets. Once you walk in, you have the smell of funky trash in front of the door, then there is never any baskets inside. You have to always turn back around to go find a basket. When is 100+ degrees outside you walk from the car at Sam's (which is normally packed so you are probably parking far) to get into the store to see there's no baskets. So you have to go back outside on a scavenger hunt. Your peace is already disturbed as you're walking into this place. Then, they have the audacity to check your membership!! Lol It's the most crazy thing ever when the establishment is not right or fit for customers at the entrance. They have no one to QC'ing this facility. I cannot believe the managers are still there when this place is literally like this every time. It's really getting to a point where I have to give my membership up and just go to Costco. I absolutely hate this location. The inside I have no complaints, but the energy that it takes out of you, just coming from outside into the store is enough for me to not want to shop here again. I reserved and paid for my party tray 2 days in advance and now I arrive to get my tray for my party for 40 in 2 hours and they CANCELLED the order. I don't know where to begin. I bought a car battery for my Wife's car from the Sam's Club near me on I-20. The battery went dead. Took it back to my Sam's and they tested. Bad. Took 30mins for test. They didn't Have my battery in stock so the tech manager told to go here 2900 W Wheatland Rd, Dallas, TX 75237. Big mistake. I should have drove to Mansfield Sam's. I had to wait for 20mins just for employee to come say anything to me. I could see employees through the glass and they knew I was waiting. Nobody said I'll be with you or anything.Finally, tech named Dennis comes out with bad attitude. I told him it was tested at the other Sam's. And the manager of the tire/battery department Just to call them. He didn't care he said it would still be tested there for another 30mins. You can always count on a problem and rudeness. I went to Customer Service as I always do to make a payment. Not shopping, just making a payment. They've tried to discourage me from doing so before but it doesn't make sense to wait in the long lines at the registers just to make a payment. Starting today, they will refuse payments in Customer Service. Told this was the last day I could pay in Customer Service. For next two weeks, must pay at register and, thereafter, pay online. Told directive comes from Synchrony Bank by way of Sam's Corporate. Supervisor on staff indicated they should accept payments and she will accept payments when she is in Customer Service. I verified with Synchrony Bank and other locations that this new directive is absolutely not true. Also searched 'payment' Sam's Club Help Center and found the following. It's ridiculous how we pay our membership when due but they never have carts pulled from the parking lot for us to use.

I had really high hopes for this specific Sam's. I went on Sunday to get a membership and purchased the outdoor playground display in cash. They told me it wouldn't be a problem to sell the display and they would take it down for me the next business day and it would be ready at 8am to pick up. I continued to do the same thing for five consecutive days and everyday they would tell me it wasn't taken down to come back tomorrow at "8am" which was really frustrating and unprofessional of them for lying to me that it would be ready when it wasn't. Wasted so much time at this place for nothing! I went to talk to the supervisor and she said she heard about it but didn't do a damn thing about it. Definitely wouldn't recommend buying anything other then food from this place. Forget about getting any problem solved at this place they lack customer service. I have shopped at this Sam's for many years, its nostalgic to me because I used to shop here with my dad 2-3 times per month , he has now passed but it was "our thing to do together " .... I now shop at Sam's at least twice per month, so I know protocol... Johnnie ...what kind of sausage is this ?;she processed to Smurk at me roll her eyes and say .."the regular kind" ..I said you know what mam..thank you and walked off (it could've been pork, chicken, deer , or beef but she said the regular kind),I thought the point was to get members to buy not walk off . Then after purchasing over 400 in groceries I get to the long line with one person at the door (this was okay though ,its normal for this club) , I watched all 7 people in front of me get their receipts scanned then 2-3 items scanned in the basket and they were on their happy little way,but here i come- the associate looks at me and proceeds to act like she was counting the items in my basket, didn't touch even half of what was in my basket and said uhh uhh, I counted 26 and the receipt says 22. I said mam you didn't even count all of my items ,you didn't even look under my basket so you didn't even finish counting . I asked for a manager , and also told the police ..I wasn't under arrest I was leaving, the manager comes and here comes the police grabbing my basket. I told them they have 1 option they could scan my receipt and then scan 3 -4 items like they did everybody else , and she did .they were all on the receipt and I said GOOD BYE , The lady at the door with the auburn finger wave in the front and pony in the back... I love going to this store because it's close to where I live, they're always stocked, it's clean and for the most part, the cashiers and staff are friendly. I also love and appreciate the option of checking out via iPhone Sam's 'Scan & Go' vs standing in line. Two areas for improvement are 1) more cashiers; 2) have more security presence in the parking lot to intervene and discourage persons offering their assistance to customers with the expectation of monetary donation. read more

If I could give it a negative 5 I would. 10/22/20 approximately 2:00 p.m. I approached a technician in the tire department. He immediately asked me if I had an appointment I knew right then and there that this was not going to go well. 1st of all no answers the it rings off the wall until you hang up or you are disconnected. I saw no way one line to schedule an appointment. Young man proceeds to tell me that I have a 4 year warranty and my warranty has expired. He stated that I would have to pay for the rotation and balancing I think he quoted me $12 a tire. I feeling desperate, because it's been awhile since I've had my tires rotated and balance. Especially due to Covid19. So I agreed to pay to have this service done. Technician comes back and shows me some type of gauge informing me that the tread on my tires are to worn for him to rotate and balance my tires. I knew he was full of it. The oldest tires that's on my car was purchased December 03, 2015 with a 6 yr warranty not 4 yrs as stated by the technician. By the way I'm retired and I'm not driving much, sometimes my car don't move for days. From past experience normally the technician would advise you that you need new tires, he did not. I retrieved my paperwork and left thinking I'm going to another location because this guy is full of shit! As I'm leaving Sam's I read my warranty information that says my tires are under warranty for 6 yrs. 11/ 02/20 my back tire was extremely low luckily I was with a friend and he put some air in the tire for me. 11/04/20 I go to the Grand Prairie location present my paperwork, no problem. Technician greeted me treated me like a loyal valued customer. With the test that he performed it states that my tread depth passed. After completing my rotation and balance the technician informed me that I will need some new tires, but not today. I told him that I'm relocated in a few months and very well plan to do just that. Lord this experience was like day and night. 11/05/20. I went back to Sam's on Wheatland to get gas and get the technicians name so I could file a complaint. As I approached the tire department I see the technician in question. I approached him by saying do you feel like working today. The fool said some days he do and some days he don't. I stated obviously the other day you did not want to work. I informed him of what he did. He's still trying to defend his actions. I asked for a manager, he told me to go get one. I raised my voice and told him to call the manager, and he did. I asked the young man for his name he refused and stated here's my manager. I talked Reginald, the so called manager, he tried to defend his employee every step of the way. They keep speaking of a 4 year and my paperwork clearly say 6 yrs. Last defense for Reginald was that the 4 yr warranty applies because the tread had reached it's end of life. I informed that the technician stated the 4 yr warranty had expired before he came up with tread shenanigans. I bid Reginald a good day and stated that you will be hearing from me. I hate to play the race card. These two worthless individuals from the Wheatland location look just like me, BLACK and this is the disservice that I received. We call it black on black crime. I don't know if they thought because I was female that I was going laid down for this B.S. Needless to say the technician in Grand Prairie was not black and he provided me with excellent customer service. I would like feedback on what comes of this. These two individuals are a disgrace to the Sam's brand, they are not living up to your mission statement. Shame on them.
