We brought our BMW to Integrity 1st Automotive on Belmont in Lakewood because it was idling rough and showing drivetrain malfunction warnings after rodents had chewed some wiring (which had already been professionally repaired before we arrived). After dropping the car off, communication was very slow and we had to repeatedly call for updates. After a few days, we were told the vehicle needed spark plugs, an ignition coil, and an induction service. When that didn't fix the issue, we were told to replace the turbocharger boost sensor, then the mass air flow sensor. After spending $1,409, the car was still doing the exact same thing as when we brought it in. Near the end of the process, the shop found a hole in the intake tubing and wanted to charge $600 to repair it. While they did agree to split that cost, it added to our frustration because it felt like the real problem was never clearly diagnosed from the start. We were even told to "drive it through the weekend and see if it works," which did not inspire confidence. To make matters worse, when we picked the car up we discovered the windshield washer tubing had been broken off, something that worked fine before the visit. We also noticed new rattling/chattering noises under the hood as if it wasn't properly put back together. At this point, we are left with an unreliable vehicle, a large bill, and the original problem unresolved. This experience did not reflect the level of integrity the company name promises, and we felt frustrated and taken advantage of throughout the process. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve diagnostic practices, communication, and quality control so other customers don't have the same experience we did. Lastly, I received an email from the Vice President, Andrew Wheeler, checking in a week after we got our car back. Basically checking in to see how the car was running. I wrote him back a lengthy email listing all that had happened and asking for them to make it right. I never heard back. I also called and left a message. Never heard back. Think twice before taking your car to Integrity 1st in Lakewood.

I called ahead to find out what a full synthetic Mobile 1 oil change cost. The lady told me that…read moreit was $89 plus $9 for each additional quart of oil. She sent me a $25 coupon. So, I expected just under $100 all out. When I arrived, I was told that the $89 wasn't full synthetic Mobile 1, and that was $124 plus $13 for the additional quart. But, I had already committed to being there, so go ahead. It needed an air filter, so that was an extra $15 or so. He couldn't figure out how to check the cabin filter, so he just skipped it. At the end of the day, it was $170 after the coupon. When I looked at the invoice, there was a separate $14 charge for the oil filter and a $6 shop fee. When I inquired about why I was charged for the oil filter, he said that it is no longer included at Take 5. In my 30 years of owning cars, the filter is included in the price of the oil change everywhere I have gone. Overall, I should have taken it to a regular shop that charges $120 all in or the $87 that I could've gotten the oil plus better quality filters at AutoZone. I won't return to a company that relies upon scams, hidden fees, and misleading customers.

They spent more time lingering at my window engaging in inappropriate conversation than focusing on the service they were being paid to perform. A few weeks later, I was forced to take my vehicle to another shop after it was discovered to be dangerously low on oil. There were no engine issues, and the mechanic's assessment strongly suggested that this location failed to add an adequate amount of oil during my service. Between the behavior and negligent I would strongly advise against trusting this business with your vehicle.

Brakes plus fixed it the first time so i went back i knew what the problem was and Joe the mechanic that fixed it the first time was there also. However the new management insisted on doing a diagnostic and more or less refused to do service unless i did a diagnostic for $90 of course they didn't tell me that until I had already left so i had to agree and of course there was no additional problem however the delay meant parts were not ordered early enough to get the job done the same day. I also had bought a windshield wiper for the drivers side because i could tell it was worn out and asked if they could install as long as it was there and i said drivers side only. I knew the other wiper needed to be replaced but I was going to do one and then the other. They ended up replacing the other wiper "because I needed it" and they "thought I understood" well i only paid $28 for the one I bought and they charged me $89 for the one they installed. Since i had 1 they should know i knew where to get them. I am short so i have to use a footstool to reach them and was just going to do one at a time on my own. That's almost $200.00 dollars i could have saved. The work they did was good as always is and the location is close enough for me. I don't know if it was because i was a girl or old that they did what they thought was good for me. I called another shop I use and their prices were a little bit lower. I would have gone there if it wasn't raining and farther away but they have had to diagnose other issues and they just include the time in labor costs.

After about 2 weeks on the road, I was surprised to see no reaction when I pull the wiper handle. I found out that my windshield fluid tank is bone dry. It took an entire gallon I bought at the gas station.
