So many goodies in Sam's Club I spend too much money but it's worth it. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy . Usually shop at the Panama City location but had to go to the Dothan location . We did the scan and shop . I don't mind being checked or my items being scanned but I do mind a racist Indian who doesn't speak a lick of English try and tell me I didn't scan an item when it shows on my phone I did . And, learn to speak English if you are trying to work with customers . read more

Has fewer and fewer products. Example dog food. Original had full işle now a quarter of the isle is dog food. This is horrible for us to lose 3/4 of işle that is dedicated to pet care not including treats. read more

moved here from Orlando. this place is always packed. the handicapped parking is a disgrace. no fines for ignorant people that park in handicapped spots so ignorant people just park there without placard you see the very elderly slowing walking to far away spots in the heat while some punk parks in their handicapped space. some places here have a fine like publix. at least Florida will fine you 500. get with the program Sam's. i can't wait for costco to be here read more

I love Sam Club . I go each week. The meat dept is the bomb. Only buy meat from Sam.

Went to this store to buy nursery supply's and bug killer. I was greeted by the MOST unfriendly person I think I have ever encountered in my life (63 years, almost 64 years). On my way out of the store I spied her picture posted in the shopping cart area. Well, believe it or not, she was one of the stores manager's! I thought about going back and confronting her. But, alas, to what point? Every other employee I have encountered at SAM's was absolutely outstanding. You never know what emotional baggage people bring to work with them! Perhaps she was too torn up inside to care about anyone else that day. My heart goes out to her, and I will pray for her to find resolution and peace in whatever troubles her. read more

Where to start with this one. I know that Dothan has some fat people but oh my god. Don't go to this place during feeding time, which is when they hand food out as samples. It is like cows grazing on a plain. These "fat ass people" with there fat families will get in your way and not move. I don't know how SAMs make money with all the samples they have to feed these people. After they're done grazing they stop by the food area and get a slice of pizza that would feed my entire family. It's not really fair to SAMs that they get this review. Because SAMs actually is a pretty good place. It's the people that go to this Dothan SAMs that makes this review so bad. The people of Walmart website has nothing on the Dothan SAMs. You could start your own website of just Dothan people and call it grazingatsams.com. I would look at that site. read more

Got a groupon for membership. I have found some good prices on food and housewares items. Gotta love sampling food items before you buy. Very clean restrooms. Tried to grab some food on the way out. Hot dogs were not ready, only 2 types of pizza that looked really old, and a 5 min wait on pretzels....took the sign we were not supposed to eat here. Left. read more

My family and I approach the the eye care associate who was sitting at the desk playing on her phone today. I handed her my glasses and asked if I could get the nose pieces replaced. One is missing. Before I could say anything else she asked in an accusatory tone if I had purchased them from Sam's. I told her I do not remember because they are an older pair. She said in a very condescending tone that she will do it this time but... I cut her off and said, no thank you. Now, I've been a member of Sam's Club for over 13 years. I did not ask the associate to perform any service for free or to give me anything for free. I pay $100 a year for the privilege of club membership but I don't ask for anything free. She simply assumed I was. I would have gladly paid the small price for this simple service. The associate seemed inconvenienced to be asked to wait on me and properly find out if I was willing to pay for the service instead of assuming I'd accept her condescending attitude for a few dollars in simple service. No price is worth being made feel like a beggar and a fool. Good Customer Service will bring in customers willing to pay higher prices for the good service given with dignity and respect to all people. read more

I caution you about buying any electronics or appliance here if you want to buy an extended warranty. I purchased a TV a year ago and the RF connector came off, I only used it to test TV I normally connect with 5 monster cables for better picture. The picture went out a year later. I called square trade, the extended warranty provider to fix picture. I said the RF connector had broken off some time and could this be fixed as well. They said the broken RF connector voided warranty because they are on same panel. I took to local repair guy and he fixed TV. He said the picture and RF connector were not related. He charged $ 3.50 to fix RF connector. He said picture was unrelated and on a separate panel an LED went out on the LCD panel and this was common. Caution the extended warranty company Square Trade will try and void contract if they have an inch of light. I will never buy any appliances or Electronics at Sams again. The person I dealt with at Square Trade was T Jackson a supervisor. read more

I find that the Sam's Clubs that I have been to in different parts of the south have no variety. This one has only Tyson chicken products. Why? It makes you wonder. Tyson has been cited many times for unsanitary and cruel practices. They have antibiotics in their chickens which is against Federal regulations and is very bad for children. Why don't they carry other products so you have a choice? Perdue is a good brand. They don't do their research. There are other problems too, I don't see no fat or low fat creamers in their dairy case and very little name brand varieties throughout the store. Sam's and Costco will never compare with BJ's. BJ's has great variety to choose from. Sure wish we had one in this area. Also, what they have one week they don't have for many weeks after, such as, produce varieties like the Rosy potato, decaf coffee, etc. Again, it sure makes you wonder. read more
