Signing up for a membership took about 40-ish min. It was on par with going to the DMV.... Was told I absolutely needed to download an app to complete the transaction. (This was not the case...I already paid). 30 of this 40 min was over the Sam's app. Great deals inside.... Don't believe everything customer service desk tries to push on you. To include a credit card before you even have your membership. lol. reason we looked into changing to Sam's Club is because it's significantly closer. It seems like every Sam's Club, with its poorly-planned egress, breeds frustration and annoyance. This spot is exceptionally so. A tentative trip to Sam's Club fosters dread in my soul. Once you get past the helter-skelter parking situation and actually are inside, you still encounter some frustration because of the narrow aisles and large shopping baskets. Usually, people are cordial and considerate, which really helps to diffuse any irritation. However, I cannot understand why every Sam's in every state that I've visited has a headache-provoking design of their parking lot. Since there are other stores that offer discount, bulk sales, I question (and will re-evaluate my membership here. read more

Location is fairly easy to get in and out of. The place is very crowded though. The door greeter is an older gentleman and he is funny to interact with. Customer service is usually quick moving. Ive never had a problem with my membership. I like to buy produce, dairy and coffee here. Oh my daughters like buying the bakery cheesecake. My family LOVES the diner...they like getting the hot dog, drink, and hot fudge sundae. I love it too but because Sam's club is the only place where I can buy a hot/cold lunch for under $3 a person. This place needs to be condemned for only having one entrance/exit. Takes over 45 minutes to leave after spending 30 minutes looking for a parking spot. The light at ring road is a joke. Maybe 5-6 cars get through on a green. read more

I was in your Elizabethtown store on Oct. 24, 2025. I had my Sam's card in my hand to show the gentleman at the front desk. When I went to check out I realized I had dropped my card which happen to be a Sam's credit card with a large available charge amount on it. I went to your service desk. Ms. Stephanie Wright took the time to get me help with the checking out on my cell phone, gave me the phone number to call to put a hold on my card. She took my name and phone number and within 30 mins. she called to tell me my card had been turned in. I was so worried due to the amount someone could have spent on my card. She was so helpful. Sams Club is of course a big box, bulk buy version of Wal-Mart. It's pretty much identical to Costco. Normally, I'd be a Costco member, however, they don't exist here, and there's now 3 Sams Clubs back home (compared to one costco) so I switched up my allegiances. I live alone and am not much for cooking, so I enjoy Sams pre-made meals. Yes they are family sized and large, but that's perfect! I bring them home, take out my Tupperware, divide it up, and one meal usually gets turned into 3 (for just me) and just like that I've "meal prep'd" lol. I also buy all my paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, kitchen / house cleaning wipes and dog food here. Those are things that you'll use daily, ... so having them in bulk for sure cuts down on having to run to the store because you ran out of toilet paper. They do sell clothing here too actually. And when it comes to around-the-house sweats and socks and stuff, I actually grab some here and there. One of the MAIN reasons though, for me, is they have their own gas station, and for members, gas is sold at a discounted rate. Which comes in handy when living in New York, where gas prices are generally higher than they are back home in Texas. Back home, I'll get gas anywhere, doesn't really matter. But here? I exclusively fill up my truck at Sams Club *Shopping at Sams requires a membership. Memberships are charged as a one time fee, once per year. read more

Sam's club is great, located in the middle of Elizabethtown by the Towne Mall. It's accessible to all the main roads (dixie hwy/ring road) there huge parking a lot is awesome, so no troubles finding a parking spot. The store is alway clean and not cluttered. They have a lot of bulk products and they usually try to get newer products in bulk. I enjoy their specialty items ( clothes, food, electronics and more)that are exclusive to Sam's club only. The store is always clean and neat. You may see some small trash items other customers leave around but overall the carts are cleaned off, the floors are clean, the bathrooms are clean never had an issue with the store. The staff is great, helpful and friendly when needed. read more

This location is very new I'm guessing its not even a year old. Clean bright they have optical department, jewelry,, books, music, video, computers and cell phones, I noticed that they have more furniture here and a small selection for tools. Ended up having hot dog combo for for lunch. The big sign says 1.70 after adding tax its closer 1.84. I think. The girl at the counter was fun, I looked at the pizza she said its very good I agreed but it looked too large for just a snack. She said that she could eat a whole pizza I wish I could have took her up on it. I still doubt it, its a big pizza. Most of the tables were very clean. Lines here were moving fast and plenty of cashiers were on staff. Many of the staff were happy and helpfully. My guess is they are still new and glad to be working. No starter tomatoes for the garden but they had sweet/bell peppers in replant sizes. One thing i dislike about Costco is the hordes of people that go crazy for FREE SAMPLES. Its a pain, as its hard to get around the people that are looking for a hand out. or just to try. The Sample tables were not interrupting movement or flow. This is the only place I could find decent brisket. However, I asked for some fat to season my smoker and said they can't because all of it is for one customer (not a neighborhood type attitude). Sam's Club is OK if you are looking for items in Bulk at fairly decent prices, but there are several detractors to the place. When I first became a member I was offered a credit account attached to my membership card. I never used the credit function, in fact I never took the card from my wallet for any purpose other than entry to the store, but about a week after joining In Elizabethtown, KY, I had $1500.00 in charges on my card, for purchases made in San Diego, CA, a city which I have never been. I argued with the manager of the local store, "Walmart Corporate", and "Synchrony Bank" in Florida, which handles their credit card functions. I am still a member of Sam's Club, but I cancelled the credit function. Months later. Then, after several shopping trips where I used my American Express card without incident, I made a purchase in excess of $200.00 and ended up being double charged for the transaction. Again, contacting Walmart Corp, without satisfaction, I finally resolved the issue by calling American Express. As always American Express resolved the issue without fail. read more

Very well located with plenty of parking... not all items listed to sell in bulk are a bargain, thus be cautious when shopping. More does not equate cheaper. Lots of pressure to upgrade membership levels - again evaluate your situation and consider the options. The bad - it does not accept credit cards. I have left this store and purchased some electronic equipment just down the street, just to be able to use my American Express card and take advantages of the miles the sky miles that comes with the purchase. I enjoy going to Sams Club and all of the employees are pleasant and smiling! Each time I go there at least 2 people ask me if there's anything in particular I'm looking for and if they can help me. Their cupcakes are delicious and the price better than other stores! They also have amazing loaded potato salad thats worth the money. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the fact that the door checker made it seem like I was stealing beer one day when he didn't check my receipt correctly... but besides that it's a good experience each time. read more

This place is so depressing. The moment you walk in, I can;t wait to get out. Went there today to grab a few things because I had to and didn't wanted to drive all the way to Costco in Louisville. Wanted to get strawberries, they had like 6 boxes and most of them looked already bad. Wanted to get Fage Greek yogurt, there was only one package left. Then after we paid, we wanted to get some frozen ice cream with cinnamon pretzel, at the food court guess what? they were out. They are always out of something. My experience at this Sam's club today was five stars. The employees were very helpful. This sam's was very clean and bright. It has been there for nearly five years and everything looked brand new there. This Sam's serves a bigger region than the ones in the Louisville Market and the store was much bigger than the 'ville's Sams clubs. The items that I usually find out of stock in Louisville were plentiful and abundant here. The Center isle where clothing, bedding and other household merchandise is sold was full of product and they had a selection of sizes in everything. It's my experience that an item will either be all Small or all Extra Large with the middle sizes gone. What blew me away is they have enough employees to have them walking around and selling merchandise on the floor. They also had a lot of people dishing out delicious samples to the customers. read more

The store itself is nice and every manager has been super helpful but dont buy your tires here, weve had constant problems. Also the attendant called stacy who worked in tires one day is rude and yelled at me to the point where I left the store before getting new tires. This sams club is decently stocked to compete with the local groceries. They do have most of the things that you would buy at Kroger and in larger quantities. The reason that I will never be back to this sams club is their customer service. They came out with a new membership card with the chip. I never received it and requested one 3 times. Until I got one they wouldn't let me make purchases. Sorry guys Kroger has much less hassle and I know their customer service will be great every time. read more
