I just ran out of this place like it was on fire. Yes, it sucks to have 4 people come in the moment the doors open. No, you do not have to act like to want to annihilate all of those customers. I got up to the counter and was barely acknowledged, eyes glued to the computer screen and already looking annoyed. I told him I got my tires at a different location and needed to see if my alignment was under warranty, and that I needed my front passenger tire replaced. He huffed and puffed that he would "have to make a phone call" (oh, the agony!) because they don't have a system where they can look me up. The whole interaction was laced with irritability while I had to remind him multiple times which tire it was that we would replace. He seemed really put off that I had my license plate number at the ready and took his time putting in my information, acting like I was the one rushing him. I did not feel comfortable leaving my car in their care and after looking at the reviews, I'm glad. Being in the automotive business myself, creating a trusting relationship with the customer is key. Regret coming here. Had a 5:00 appt to install 4 tires. Came in at 3:00 to see if they can squeeze me in early. Said no problem. Finally touched my car at 4:17 and excuse was 3 people short. Well do not state you can squeeze me in if you can't. Basically wasted 1 hour 15 minutes to only be 45 minutes touch before my 5:00 appt. Horrible service. Guess the ploy is to let you wait so all the time you wasted is to get the work done paying them for lousy service. See Daffy Duck's Tire Shop instead. read more

Went in for a oil change and alignment. Had a appointment yet 2 hours later in still waiting. I saw my car parked out front and asked if they were done with it. He told me the alignment still wasn't done bc the machine was broke. When we're you going to tell me the alignment couldn't get done. They just had me sitting there. Nice, polite service writers and clean store. I was given a good price over the phone for an alignment and made an appointment for the next day. Service required 1.5 hours of waiting despite an appointment. Upon completion, my price had been increased over the quoted price and I was upcharged for an overhead charge not included in the quote. The car was not properly aligned and no record of pre or post alignment specs was provided. They offered to attempt to re-perform the alignment but I declined. I will not choose this shop for future work if I have another option. read more

If we could have picked "zero" for a rating, we would have !! My significant other made the mistake of going in there to get her tires rotated before she left for Georgia in a day or two. Apparently, the fellow "trying" to remove the lug nuts.........ended up busting 2 of them off when he apparently had his impact wrench set to "forward" instead of "reverse" !!! She was told that they would be replaced for free.....but in a matter of minutes.........someone up front made the decision that they must have been cross threaded and that was the cause of it. This was most certainly a LIE.............as I was the last one who had the tires off to do the brakes. After making it clear again that they were not going to replace them....they went on to tell her that SHE WOULD BE FINE WITH JUST 3 LUG NUTS HOLDING THE WHEEL ON.............even after she told them she was heading to Georgia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

My advice... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Why? We got tires on two vehicles, months apart. Both vehicle's tires were not properly balanced, and required a return trip to be fixed. The second vehicle required a third and fourth trip. This is a complete waste of my time. During both of the original installations, I was told our vehicle would be the next/first one in. After an hour wait of my vehicle not moving, they apologized and said they pulled in the wrong one... twice. During the third trip, the service writer said drop it off tomorrow morning at 8am. He didn't even prepare paperwork, or ask my wife's name for an appointment. He didn't offer to leave it overnight so that it would be the first vehicle in. Instead, he wasted more of our time, standing in line at 7:50am describing their service failure. The first vehicle has since had its struts replaced. What did the mechanic find? A cross threaded lug nut, which had to be replaced. When the warranty runs out on these tires... I will never go back. I came in with a blown out tire on the rim. I did realize there was a crack in the wheel from the blow out. I took the rim and blown out tire to "Big O"" and bought a new tire. Being that they are "professional" I would've assumed that they would have noticed the crack but they didn't. The next morning I woke up for work the tire was flat. Unfortunately I had a call into work, I did call and they were willing to check the tire out and possibly replace it. I stopped by Big O Tires, Elizabethtown, KY because my light came on to check the air in my tires. When they were finished I left. 45 minutes later I received a phone call from a police officer threatening to put out a warrant for my arrest for committing a crime of hit and run. Someone had falsely accused me of hitting a pick up truck in the parking lot as I was leaving. I did not hit a vehicle. If I had hit a vehicle I would have found the owner. I cooperated with the police officer via phone & am 100% sure the insurance companies will prove that my vehicle did not make contact with another vehicle. I filed my own report on 1/26/24 & asked E'town police to take pictures of my car. However, my complaint with Big O Tires is that an employee of the store gave the police officer & the owner of the truck my personal information (name, phone number, home address and information about my car) without my consent. This caused extreme distress as I was accused of committing a crime I didn't commit & assumed guilty. Big O Tires is responsible for that. My wife took her van to Big O to have brakes checked because they were squeaking and the steering wheel was shaking terribly bad when applying the brakes. When we arrived the technician took the van into the shop to check the brakes. My first red flag was the fact that they did not test drive the van to check the shaking issue. After the inspection, the girl working the counter, Jordan explained that our pads were still 90% good but all the rotors needed replaced. Since we were having rotor replaced we would need new pads too. Total $817.88. We explained to her we all the brakes and rotors replaced only 15k miles ago at Big O in Radcliff, where we paid $821.00 and showed her the receipt. She stated the warranty was up and we would have to pay the full amount again. We had her print out a quote and left. One week later I took the van to Brakes 4 Less, 2 blocks up the street from BIG O to have the brakes checked. When I arrived the technician asked for my keys so he could test drive the van to feel the shaking issues (already starting off better than Big O). They brought the van into the shop, removed all the wheels, inspected the brakes and then brought me out to the shop to show me the issue and explain to me what was going on with the brakes ( Big O did not do this). The tech explained that the brake pad were still very good and the shaking issue was coming from the front brakes because of the brake rotors having rust build up. I explained that Big O said the back brakes were causing the issue as well as the front and all 4 wheels needed replaced. He assured me the back brakes were perfectly fine and that turning the front rotors and replacing the pads would fix the shaking issue. I agreed to have the front rotors turned and premium pads replaced, 45 minutes the van was finished. The tech took the van for a 2nd test drive came back and said no more squeaking or shaking. I paid the bill, which was $232.67. This was $585.21 LESS that Big O Tires quoted. I thanked them for their great work, fair pricing, and most of all their HONESTY! I am writing this review 2 weeks after Brakes 4 Less completed the work and the brake job is still perfect and functioning as it should! I'm not sure if Big O's technicians are just not as skilled as Brakes 4 Less or they just do not care about the customers as much as profits. It is my opinion that Big O Tires main objective is to write the biggest quote possibly to maximize profits, very disappointing. I would recommend getting a 2nd opinion if you choose to go to Big O Cash Grab for anything. I also HIGHLY recommend Brakes 4 Less to everyone for fair, HONEST work done with integrity!!! read more

Would not recommend going here. Have dealt with them sporadically over the past 10 years and have had multiple issues with the staff and their work. The majority of the staff have nasty attitudes and typically don't know the answer when asked. They weren't able to perform an alignment on my vehicle due to them needing an "expensive part that they can't get". That expensive part was a total of $15 and very easy to order. They never want to back up their products/warranties. I will not go here any more, my business will be taken to people who know how to be nice and know exactly what they're doing. read more

Not only was I given a reasonable price for the radiator replacement, but I also received excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this location for service. Having just moved to Elizabethtown from Colorado, I was very pleased to find a repair facility that treated me fairly. I had asked for a quote for replacement of my radiator and I also asked for a quote from the Ken Towery store across the street. Towery was trying to price gouge me for twice the cost of Big O! I have used Big O in Colorado for most of my vehicle tires and repairs for many years and I am so thankful that I can get the same reliable and reasonable pricing at the Elizabethtown location. Being a woman, I have found that trying to keep from being price-gouged is very difficult. However, I have found this store to be trustworthy and they now have my business for both of my vehicles.
