We came to pick up few things for our stay for week. The outside looks like it's going thru stage of gonna get painted and maybe new sign because the only sign on building was a banner said Sams club. We don't care about outside so much but inside seemed well maintained. Very busy with empty buggies all over.. not sure why. They do there best to provide the best and easiest experience possible. I don't do my bulk shopping at Sam's Club, I would break the bank doing that. But I do grab meats, eggs, drinks, and cleaning supplies. There are other little odds and ends I grab from here because, no matter how much of a plan you have when you walk in, there is something that catches your eye the entices you to pick up or throw in the cart. I feel that when it's comes to the shopping experience Sam's has taken the progressive steps to make an individual experience easy by giving you the option to shop online (delivery or pickup), normal and self checkout, and my favorite Scan & Go. So it baffles me a little why there is even long lines here anymore. The last thing I'll touch on is the cost of fuel at most Sam's Club locations. They're normally the cheapest Premium prices around town. That doesn't seem watered down. Been a member for years and will continue to patronize there business. read more

I went to get tires at Sams Club FWB and they told me they couldn't get a couple bolts off my jeep rims. I had to go back get the jeep take it to Pep Boys across the street at which I watched the manager loosen all the bolts nice and easy so I could drive it back across the street so Sams Club could call me 2 hrs later and tell me they still can't get a bolt off. I then asked for a refund and they were trying to give me less money back then I payed for the tires and they didn't know why the $ was different and they couldn't figure out how to get me a refund. I wasted a day off work, time and money dealing with sams club. The first manager I talked to listened to me after I waited 40 minutes for him to come talk to me, said just give him a refund and walked away like he didn't really care. I spent 2 hours at Sams Club just trying to get a refund. This is not a real tire shop (they do not have the tools and qualified employees) and these are not real mechanics. Be careful considering Sams Club for your tire needs. read more

My wife was there on 7/16/2022 to purchase a microwave oven. She approached 4 people near the customer service area. They were having a personal discussion and had to call for someone to show her where they were. The gentleman helped her set it on top of the cart. The person at the register required her to put everything under the microwave on the belt for scanning. My wife had to load the cart by herself after the scanning was done. She asked if someone would help her put the microwave in the back of her suv. She was told there was nobody available to help her. She was able to get some assistance from another customer in the parking lot. My Wife is in her 60's and she was fortune to get some help from another shopper. The manager or employees at Sams should have been willing to assist her with her purchase. Customer service was lacking on this day. read more

I dread having to deal with the older lady in the tire shop. She is very rude. I've complained about the way she blew me off which resulted in me driving away with a hole in my tire. When I spoke to the store manager, he was very helpful but that lady was still rude and dismissive. No customer service skills at all. I went in again today, to ask about a tire. She didn't even look at me while speaking to me. Just rude. If it weren't for being able to get gas from Sam's I'd cancel my membership because of my experience alone with this lady. So a few little known facts about ole Sam's Club... sure it's convenient when you are supplying a wagon train of pioneers, but something most people don't know is that their pizza is totally awesome. You can buy 2 slices out of a pie for pretty cheap, and the taste honestly can't be beaten. No other pizza spot in town sells by the slice. Also, the fresh squeezed orange juice by the cake displays is unreal. I usually would go back and fantasize about the carrot cake and grab a bottle of oj on the way out. Do I think the membership dues are worth it? No. But that's the cool thing about low resolution photographs on the cards- the greeters and cashiers don't care to double check your likeness. Just borrow a friend's card and drop it on the conveyor belt at checkout. read more

I haven't been to all that many Sam's Clubs but I have been to several different Costco's across the nation. That's what I'm comparing Sam's to.. Customer service is on par with a Walmart and any other big box store. No one goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed other than a welcome to Sam's. No one seems super happy to be doing what they are doing. Quality / Variety of products is par. The name brand Members Mark actually steers me to the name brand most of the time. The variety of products are generally the common product that a consumer would buy compared to the best quality or most healthy product on the market. For instance oat meal... instead of having whole oats they have quick oats. Generally, I notice that they dedicate space to a particular item in more than one location and they could place a new item in that location. Check out is better since they changed to a person that will unpack your cart and a cashier but not as efficient as Costco. It actually seems that they ripped this idea from Costco at least in this area bc in Seattle they have been doing this and more for years. Typically they will add a person at the end that will ask if you want your items boxed or not which I Love bc it makes it easier to unpack and bring everything inside the house. The entire scanning things inside of the cart is lazy in my opinion. It leaves rooms for error like scanning an item twice or not at all. Overall, I shop here because it's all we have in the area. If a Costco opened up anywhere remotely close I would go there. I do like the tire department it seems to have good deals on tires and they are pretty quick as well. The food court is very low priced with tasty food as long as it's not sold out or unavailable. For example I hoped to buy several burgers for a group of people but for whatever reason they didn't have any. read more

Horribly run Sams Club. Tried making a return today of a water slide that the bottom of it had completely disentegrated in less than a year. They straight up refused to honor their return policy. The Store manager/Supervisor (whatever her title was) Aisha was not a nice person to deal with. She claimed that you can't return anything in the store that is past 90 days. She said the computer wouldn't allow it and she couldn't override it (straight up lied to my face, of course she could). Only electronics have a 90 day return policy. A few things have shorter return policies (cell phones) and a few other things. The item I was returning didn't fall in any of the 90 day or less windows. Needless to say, called corporate, and they will be issuing my refund. If you have issues with them returning something...do yourself a favor and call corporate, since they clearly don't follow company policy at this location. It's sad, I wonder how many people this happens to at this location? The other manager I dealt with, Zech, literally read the policy after I had pointed out to him on my phone what their policy was. He acted dumbfounded saying things like, "Oh look at this, they changed the policy" to his co-worker. Guess he was trying to save face after being called out. This has been their policy for at least a year when I signed up because I was comparing them to Costco, which I am more familiar with. Sadly, there aren't any costco's in the area yet. Just a tip for the Sams Club employees that work returns...maybe read your policy, and know what is and what isn't acceptable, it's literally on the screen behind y'all. read more

I needed to get wine and stopped here. Got my wi e and headed to get a quick bite. I got the polish sausage and a lemonade. It was ok. I added sauerkraut and it tasted better. As far as tha place, well, it's Sam's Club. I like how they gave free samples. I partook on almost all of them. Lol!!! Sam's club has never been my go-to for shopping. Not sure why. I can usually find what I want, but I don't find myself 'shopping'. I have my list, I find what I want and I go. One morning, I was running errands for work and decided to run into Sam's to pick up the things I needed to buy and avoid the weekend crush. I go to the door, show my card and I'm told I do not have the 'early access' privilege!! It was before 10 am. I have the regular membership for $45. I find out that day I need to spend $55 more ($100), for a 'Gold' membership to be able to shop before 10 am? I do not need all the other services offered for the extra $55, I would simply like to shop before 10 am sometimes. My previous home (in Tampa) had a Sam's 2.5 miles from my home, Costco was 8 miles in traffic. I always went to Costco. I really miss Costco. read more

Moderate Sam's Club. Didn't seem to have as large of a selection as other Sam's. We still spent over $800. Found surround sound speakers for $120 which were $160 at the nearest Best Buy. A positive with this store is they have a drive up area where someone can wait with the cart if it's raining. A con is when someone is blocking the lane and not in the car! read more

Our local Sam's club is a great place to shop. Althought, you have to carefully check product experation dates of their item when buying. I often find the same product stocked with up to 4 different expiration dates. I have even bought items many times that had already expired. Sam's needs to do a better job on these items. read more

Who doesn't love WHOLE SALE SIZED ITEMS especially in the south?!? It's no costco, but I am happy with the selection of meats, snacks, cereal, and seafood items that they have in stock here. Where else can I get a 2 for $5 ridiculous size bags of chips? Plus you can literally on the right times and days have a free meal with their free samples. Nom Nom Nom. For $50 for a year membership that's pretty damn good in my opinion, you'll probably get your membership back in 1-2 trips. I love buying toilet paper and kitchen paper towels from here it takes me forever to get thru them. Also if you're throwing a party for a big amount of people this place is great to stock up on serving items and all the crap that you'll need for the party. This is the worst SAMs I have ever been to in my entire life. I bought a tire last Saturday at SAMs in Huntsville, al. Drove to destin for a vacation, where our tire started to leak air in the new tire. We waited in the auto department for over an hour just waiting to be acknowledged. Not one single person tried to help us or greeted us, even when I flagged down a customer service person who said they would go get the auto person. Finally, after an hour and a half we had the rudest person tell us we needed to wait 3 hours to have our car looked at. Okay, that's fine. Understood. Then he walked away, and never came back. The highly publicized "Scan & Go" app (to avoid the checkout lines and speed the shopping experience) is terrible at the Fort Walton Beach store. My iPhone, which always logs into a wifi network that I have used previously cannot log in. After manually finding the ATT network and proceeding to scan all items, you cannot pay, apparently because the network goes up and down so frequently. One of the associates told me that she has the same problem. The message informs you that you cannot use the app (after scanning the entire basket of merchandise) and to locate a checkout line. This occurs about 50% of the time I try to use the app. Wish there was a Costco or BJ's in the area. read more

Construction is understandable but still it was confusing for someone who has never been to this location. The one thing that really bothered me was checking out. I had never used my membership solo and was new to the whole experience. I went to put my groceries on the conveyor belt and the employee snapped at me that "new protocol" was that she take the cart and unload it herself. Oh goodness, this place.. For having to pay to shop, this place does not make me feel welcomed. Most of the time the late afternoon door greeter has such an attitude problem, and then forget trying to find assistance on the floor. The people who work there would rather be on their cell phones or laughing with their co workers than helping me get heavy paper or water into my cart. When I do manage to get someone to help me, they are absolutely miserable!!! It was like talking to someone who has had the life sucked away from them, come to find out, the poor guy worked all night! That man worked from 9pm until 8 in the morning. What the heck are they doing to their workers?! I shake my head at this Sam's club, I get better service from drained workers who should be at home, than the people who actually get to see daylight. On one visit, my mother had a case of oil fall off from being stacked improperly and drench her clothing. Of course she went to management for help because her clothing was ruined, and they did nothing. The Assistant manager J.D. told her that she could buy something elsewhere and to bring in the receipt and they would "See what they could do." She wasn't looking for much, at most an apology or help cleaning herself off and she was just brushed away. Sam's club... I don't know what to say.. This place is disgusting.. .dirty... under stocked.. and you treat your hard workers terrible. There is a lack of strong management and I doubt equality within your club. Someone needs to step up and turn this place around, they have lost my business. I pay for a pleasant shopping experience, not for the need to question my own safety (falling items from stacking) when shopping or moody workers. read more
