The dining area was deplorable. Containers of cleaning wipes were strewn around meaning the act of obtaining a clean table was all on you. Everything I need is always in stock here. It's never too busy, and parking is good. I do the Scan and Go when I shop in store, and I get right in and out. It's fast, convenient, a good location, and good prices. I generally order online for curbside pickup and the employees are always so friendly and it's so easy to do. Two female employees were on their phones texting and showing each other pictures while we stood there waiting for help. Their signs are all incorrect in the store and it is extremely misleading when going to purchase and finding out the price is double what the sign says. The two females at the registers messed up our Sam's cash and even used our card and charged it for our items without us authorizing it. When I told them I did not authorize them to charge my card, they got defensive. Then they told us we needed to cash out our Sam's cash. When we tried to cash it out, they told us they now can't see that we have any Sam's cash. Absolutely incompetent and extremely rude. They both had huge attitudes and acted like we were inconviencing them for their system acting up. Manager Heidi was extremely aggressive and dismissive of our concerns between the discrepancy between the rewards of Sam's cash and what their system was showing. She insulted my disabled father and and continued to dismiss our concerns and cut us off. They clearly need to be retrained and also trained on compliancy with ADA laws. Do better. read more

I purchased new tires at your Muskegon Sam's Club on 9/23/2025. When I went to pick up my van the manager came and said he could not put one of the tires on because one of the lugs got stripped. When I asked how, he said that happens sometimes. when I asked him what to do, he said when I get it repaired to bring it back and then he would put my tire on. I took it to a mechanic and was told that the lug is part of the hub, and it was unable to come off because it was stripped so bad. He then said all I could do was replace the whole hub assemble which cost me $407.04. I have pictures of everything but when I returned to the store the manager said he was not taking responsibility for anything. Now I have new tires, (the same kind I bought from the same store before) and no warranty as well as horrible service. We have been Sam's Club members since 2000. Spending thousands of dollars. We have had all of our tire service done here. When I asked him why after I fixed it, he claimed no responsibility he said maybe somebody else stripped it. I have never had anyone do my tires except Sam's and told him to check his records I even told him to notice that I have them rotated here as well. He said we did not do it. Then the worst insult was that he said I was lying. I am not one to complain but I was a store director at Meijer for 17 years before I retired in 1999. I would certainly not put up with this store managers conduct. Would have understood the mistake had he taken any responsibility. I was purchasing at the Muskegon mi Sam's club. Two employees were very rude to two customers in front of me. The employees were Jill and Heidi. The First Lady was trying to buy Pokémon sets and the manager Heidi asked her if she's already been here to buy them and she said no, there was clearly a language barrier, Heidi kept repeating the same thing in the ladies face, getting louder and louder, so I'm not sure the lady truly understood what she was asking. The next customer, stood up for the Hispanic lady and simply said that was unacceptable to yell at a customer, Heidi replied that she didn't yell, which she did. When the second customer said that she didn't yell Heidi then raised her voice and started yelling at the second customer about the first one being a liar and a scammer, even though the First Lady did not lie, she had not been into that location. The second customer then decided she wasn't going to continue with their purchase and that the employees should not be speaking to customers that way. She began walking to the exit and Jill continued to make disrespectful remarks to her after she had already walked away. It was then my turn to pay and another employee asked Heidi, who claims she was the manager, for assistance and she rudely snapped at the employee that well she needed to wait. I'm disgusted at what I witnessed. Even if they had purchased something that was limited per customer and were coming back through the line that's no way to speak to customers. She very easily, and should have, informed the customer that they can only purchase the said item one time and moved on. The first customer did not argue or push back at all when she was told she could not make the purchase she simply said ok and walked away. read more

Just try to submit a negative review of a product on their website; they will not publish it. Mostly uber processed food in Sam's; terrible unhealthy selection, with the exception of the meat and fresh vegetables. Items that are good often just disappear from the shelves, not clear why but it is very frustrating. Recent change in benefits of plus membership make it just not a good deal. You can get good or better prices elsewhere without a membership. My membership expires in November and I will not renew as there is just nothing in this store I can't do without or find at a similar or better price elsewhere. They have this little area in front of the store that I guess could be considered a cafeteria. The food is more of the fast-food variety, hot dogs, pizza, pretzel, bag of chips, fountain drinks, etc. While I've never gone to Sam's Club, just to eat, I do go to the dining area after, or before I start shopping. The limited menu is very inexpensive. You get a (HUGE) hot dog special....a dog and a pop for about $1.50. But today, I opted for the pizza special....large slice and pop for about $2. I chose the supreme pizza, but they have other varieties. Service good, pizza served hot and greasy. Nice little unhealthy meal within anyone's budget. read more

My service started off right but ended up wrong. I went in with my speedometer working, and when I left it wasn't. I was very disappointed that excuses were made for their mistake I feel they took advantage of me because I am a lady. 2 sensors were replaced because 2 of my dashboard lights were on. However, one light did go off, but I don't know what speed I am going now because my speedometer isn't WORKING AT ALL. I went in for 2 new valves for my tires and the service found me and suggested this service. He said everything will be fine after replacing the sensors. Well, I feel let down because I trusted Sam's Club staff, with my vehicle, and now I could get a ticket because I don't know what speed I am going. I was very disappointed with the service I received at the Sams Club in Muskegon.I was a third party shopper an decided to buy a membership for my Wife an Household.I was taught you never have a second chance to make a first impression. I placed an online order yesterday to be pulled for pickup this morning. I couldn't have asked for an easier process. My items were ready, in a cart for me and all I had to do is show my paperwork and leave. (I already paid for the items online when I placed the order.). The sales associates were friendly and very helpful. The one associate at the exit door informed me of the curbside service that is coming in a week or two. The less than stellar management has shorten the gas hose's at the pumps. So half the pumps are use only 30% of the time. They did this because they are so busy. So now I'm guessing they are wondering why the line are twice as long at the pumps the other cars. I'm can see why not everybody can be astronauts. read more

I shop this store regularly and never have had an issue. Now that the governor is requiring anyone inside a store to be wearing a mask and keep a social distance, I find it's business as usual and these safety requirements are not being followed. I would guess at least about 1/3 of shoppers had no mask. Another couple had them over their mouth, but not their nose. Couples were chatting with an associate blocking the aisles. If Businesses can require or refuse customers for wearing/not wearing a mask, this should be enforced. Otherwise I'll be forced to avoid this place for a while, and we spend $300+ per month. Poor customer service, they answered a phone call to look up info on another customer even though I was currently being helped until the phone call interrupted it. Most places will help customers on a first come first serve basis, especially if I had to wait 10min before being helped. The Members Mark brand I have found to be of equal or better quality than a lot of name brands. Cruise the store on weekends and you can eat like a king on all the samples being offered and you might even find that palate pleasing surprise at a really great price. Its Sams club, where you buy bulk items for home or business. Selection is good and they change up quit a bit. Prices are ok, just like everywhere some items are cheaper, some are more expensive. Staff are just a tick above Walmart employees(well technically they are) most seem like its such a hassle to help or just do their jobs. But hey pay with a card and you can self check out and not deal with them. I do find it odd that you get checked coming in, while checking out, and then they check your receipt as you leave, especially since this location allows you to buy alcohol without a membership.....think they could tone it down a little, I've been stopped from coming in because i didn't show my card(i used the iPhone app) and the person was trying to tell me i couldn't come in without a "card". But other then that kind of thing is a decent place to buy bulk. read more

We have done alot of business with this location through out the years and made alot of purchases the latest being a 60 in samsung tv which we love and its hard to beat the price on alot of their electronics. Gas generally cheaper than anywhere in the area. Frozen foods and other items are usually very well priced staff coming in are always friendy only things i dont care for is even though the tire center is priced well and installation in is super competitive it takes along time to get someone to help you and it usually takes quite awhile to get your tires rotated or rebalanced just seems slow sooo tire part would be 2.5 stars. And im tired of the sales booths inside the store that stop me and try to hard sell me a product i dont need! (IM A MALE WITH SHORT HAIR i dont need a curling Iron) ...im guessing this is beyond the local control of the store manager but its annoying. All in all if tire center was better and pressure sales kiosks weren't there id say 4 star. Very happy with the rest. read more

Good selection of items, especially when they go on extra savings during the year. the meat department carries a good variety to choose from (pork, steaks, chicken, lamb). There's also seasonal seafood's that they have near the holidays. I did purchase a queen sized mattress from them in April 2016, well worth the price.. Also, bought new tires there too. I use a lot of their store brand products, good value for the money. Their food court has delicious pizza to eat there or take home, plus they sell my pretzels. The staff is helpful, but a lot of overturn in employees. I steer clear of the free sample tables, holds up the customers from finishing their shopping when a crowd is gathering around the aisles. read more
