Julie knows the business better than most other tire sales people. I go back to when I was 17 years old (now 82) and have always been treated great. Never a problem. Called them for my wife. Her car had a slow leak and after going to another tire dealer that is know for their discounts, she had a new set of lug nuts for $70+ (first trip). Waited1 1/2 hours (second trip) and they wanted to change rear pressure sensors for $130+ (third trip). I called Ginman's, went in with an appointment and found out that a valve stem was leaking. 1/2 hour she was on her way with no charge. This is the type of service that has kept Ginman's in business for 85 years. read more

Loyal customer for literally years, bought tires from Bill himself, called a day ahead, drove 25 miles to be told there was 3 people ahead of me, itd be about an hour, ok, no problem, go get lunch, come back, wait ANOTHER hour to be told, at the end of the day on a friday, that a full two hours later, theres 3 people ahead of us. In the meantime, while waiting, a friend or family member comes, talks to the employee they know, didnt even go into the office, hes out there with a jack for her, she didnt have to wait at all. Apparently loyalty to a business isnt appreciated, and will be remembered next time I think about driving a 50 mile round trip to patronize a business I mean nothing to. I can't say enough good about the quality customer service at Ginman! Family owned, consistently kind and fast and high quality. We have been going there for years, but had an issue earlier this week that prompted me to finally write a review... 4:30pm, flat tire less than a mile away. CANNOT get two of the lugnuts off to get the spare on. No roadside service on our insurance policy. Call them and talk through options with John. He was patient with me even though I was flustered and asked a bunch of ridiculous questions! End up having the towing company around the corner get it over to them.(Reliable Towing...also great...but that's a different post!) John comes up right away to tell us that he doesn't think it looks that bad and he thinks they will be able to get the lugnuts off without issue. Continues to keep us updated on progress as they get the lugnuts off, remove the nail, and repair the tire. Less than $25 later and we're out the door at a little after 5p. Not once did they make us feel like a burden or annoyance for keeping them a little late. So grateful for a neighborhood place with great customer service! read more

we limped into this tire store at 5:45 on a rainy Friday night. ginman closed at 6:00. we had a slow leak in a rear tire. a nice young man stayed later to fix the tire. there was no other place open until Monday and we are taking the ferry boat to Milwaukee the next morning. was a nail in our tire. took till after 6:00 to fix. the office person could not of been nicer. she must of seen how tired and scared I was. we had to be home on Saturday for our grandsons birthday Sunday. since he is austitic he would not understand why we did not appear at the party. could not give this place a better rating or for sure would of!! thanks from us Cheeseheads. read more

We are traveling from Chicago to Traverse City for vacation. Just north of Muskegon... tire blow out. Call around... everyone refers us to Ginman. We call, they have tires. We drive our fifthwheel over. 1 hour later as promised. Back on the road. We are now 43 miles down the road. Guess what... another blow out. We call them... WITHOUT a hesitation, they have a service truck in route to our location. To take care of second blow out and to replace the other two tires. Julie and team are first class.
