Hearing center has posted hours of 9AM-5PM Tuesday-Saturday. on Friday 09/21/25 no one was there. Went to Member Services, they did not know where the tech was. Said he basically shows up when he wants to??? He is an independent contractor. Waited until 10:30. Very poor business practices. I am a plus member for many years. Will go elsewhere for my hearing needs. Someone needs to be in charge of this service. Also was there on Thursday for same thing, tech had 1 customer but stated it would be 1 1/2 hours before he could get to me??? Probably wanted to go home early is my guess. read more

This store's layout is quite different than the Indianapolis Sam's stores but I was able to find everything eventually. I was surprised to see that their food service was open. The Indy stores still have closed food service. A couple of Halloween items were already out on display. We found a round folding chair with soft velvety material for $40. And a Members Mark shredder with the attached trash can for $60. I thought these were pretty good deals. I usually go to Sam's once a month for supplies that end up lasting me for several months. If you want to miss the bustling wave of shoppers, I'd recommend that you head to this location as soon as doors open. During my visit, it appeared that many people were taking a break from the quarantine and decided to shop instead. The environment was very busy and the lines were long. As with most of my shopping trips, I quickly select what I need and head out quickly. To bypass the lines, I use the Sam's Club App to check out and use the code given for the door monitors to scan. As shopper's clubs go, my point of comparison is BJ's, which isn't around here (Costco I know only by reputation). I just haven't been that impressed with Sam's Club. The membership includes a basic and a higher-priced one, and they push the premium membership so heavily that the regular one feels kind of like an insult. The store is only open to premium members at certain hours, online orders ship for free only for premium members, etc. This seems like not great marketing to me. The store itself hasn't had a ton of things that I wanted when I've actually shopped there. I shop at a ton of places ranging from the premium health food stores to discount outlets to niche ethnic markets, and there just aren't a whole lot of things that I find worth buying at Sam's. They have food, but the selection is quite limited and I wouldn't call it healthy; BJ's was way better both for indulgences like gum and chocolate and flavored water but also for staples like grains and nuts. I can get some cleaning supplies and stuff, but there isn't enough benefit in doing that here to be worth the membership. The other big selling point is gas, and it is cheaper and I have found a significant number of stops when I travel. I've found an alarmingly high prevalence of pumps not running at various Sam's Clubs (though not this one). Here, they do have pumps with stretchy gas hoses attached so you can drive your car up to either side, but they don't advertise this fact, and a fair number of people seem to be waiting in line to get up to the left side of their car when the contralateral pumps are wide open. I'm torn between wanting to educate the masses and liking the fact that I don't have to wait in line. The other feature of note is that you can pay by scanning a code at the pump with the store's app and linking to your card, which is fine I guess, but I've had it fail when the ambient light levels were too high. Anyway, I haven't been convinced that paying for a membership or driving to this store are really worth it for me. read more

I've not been in Sam's club in a while as I don't have a membership card here, but my family members do and they seem to enjoy coming here. I came with a friend who is a member here and we did some shopping. I didn't get a chance to browse all the various produce, as that's what's most important to me, but the few things I noticed, seemed to be similarly priced as Costco. But Costco still seems to have way more organic items then what Sam's has to offer. One star less is because they didn't have certain things I was seeking and had to go to Kroger to get. Overall this big box store still is pretty good. I'll have to compare certain things I bought here to Costco and see which measures up via price and brands. read more

This location's (or possibly corporate's?) cafe food policy is ludicrous. I tried to order a brownie sundae but was told the yogurt wasn't working. I pointed out that someone was getting yogurt even as we were speaking. I was told that was chocolate but sundaes have vanilla which is broken. So I said "It's OK to make the sundae with chocolate". I was told that they weren't allowed to by corporate, even if vanilla isn't available. I kid you not. read more

Sams is an essential store in my monthly shipping routine. The store is membership based and I am a plus customer (meaning I have access to the early hours before regular customers), and I also have the Sam's club rewards MasterCard that earns 2% back on purchases. I usually earn at least $100 in rewards each year and I personally like to save them up to use around the holidays. I live in mount sterling so the store is about a 35 minute drive for me as well. But really, the rewards are covering my membership fees at least. Sam's club always has the best quality and best prices in meats. I regularly purchase ribeye, pork chops, and chuck roasts here at a better deal than I can get anywhere else. The bacon is a must buy as well. I tend to buy the same things over and over. I also love the athletic clothing line carried here, great quality and at around $12 per item it is well worth it! The return policy at Sam's is the best, if you lose your receipt they can look it up for you under your membership! If I'm ever in doubt if I want something, I buy it and then decide later if I want to return (which I rarely do). read more

Yikes, Yelpers... only two stars for Sam's? I love Sam's! It's a membership based club, so even if you stop for gas at the Sam's gas station, you must have a card/membership. I've had a membership for as long as I can remember, with the exception of the one year that I canceled it and bought a Costco membership instead. I came back to Sam's, if that helps with the comparison to the two. I don't come to this location as often as I do the Lexington location, but I love it just the same. The location is just a few minutes from The Summit and Brannon Crossing. My only complaint is somethings are more expensive there in bulk than if purchased elsewhere...even not at bulk. I have my go-to list and I stick with those items. They sell good quality home goods too, like towels, throw blankets, etc. read more

Sam's is doing a great job during Covid. Staff is wearing masks, sanitizing between customers. You can still find great deals at Sam's and we have ordered online and come in to pick up our order. Check out is fairly fast and easy. Sam's is my go-to for buying bulk items like garbage bags, laundry detergent, and I love that I can grab my allergy meds here, too, for a great price. And during Covid, you might even be able to stock up on paper towels and toilet paper here! Sam's Club is my preferred warehouse shopping club. read more

We've had a membership for a few years now since it's close to our house. With two babies, the money we've saved on diapers and wipes alone is probably worth it. We also like to stock up on household items and the food items are tasty. They have a great app where you can scan your products and pay in the app allowing you to skip the line which is especially great when it's really busy on the weekends. The food court has the best soft pretzels and they are really inexpensive. However, the employees working in the food area always seem disorganized and the tables are always really dirty. Our kids love coming here on the weekend to try all the samples of foods! read more

Have you ever needed a forty gallon drum of mayonnaise? This is the question that Sam's Club tries to answer, a question I never knew I had and am still not sure if I do. My in-laws gifted us a membership for Christmas and we have kept putting it off because, well, life. We went in and walked around this past weekend. I do enjoy the hint of randomness you encounter as you traverse this warehouse-like location. The only things we actually needed at the time were a few toppings for chili that evening - sour cream and shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Unfortunately, being Sam's Club, I could only get sour cream in a gallon sized tub and the cheese in a pack of 2 one pound bags. I settled on getting just the cheese. Now, if I had a big family or we're prepping for a big party, this place would be very helpful. And hey, if you just happen to be in the area, stop by for some pretty decent pizza, giant hot dogs, churros, etc for pretty cheap! But for every day, no. read more

Photo center removed! I ordered some photos online before Christmas for a gift thinking that I could pick them up a few hours later at the one hour photo center like I have many times before. Went to store and no photo center, it was completely removed. Long story short, photo s came to store 6 days later(after Christmas). Had to wait in a line at customer service it pick them up. Was told by employee they were sending people gift cards vis email to compensate. Called 800 number later and got the run around. They person gave me long pauses of silence. I was treated poorly and am never using this service again. I would have expected this at Walmart ,but not Sam's. 'F' customer service experience! read more

Okay--a Coronavirus story. If I could give this store less than 1 star, I would. It is really over the top when you park in a parking lot that is two thirds empty, you follow all the goofy signs and a maze of a trail to enter the building. You finally find your way to the entrance, and Sams has an employee guarding the door to make sure only one person enters the building on one membership. Best I recall, I paid for a family membership. So, me and my husband were advised that only one of us could enter. So is Sams going to give half our membership fee back, since only one of us can shop. I am not going to hold my breath. On our way back to the car, there were three couples unloading their carts into the trunks of their cars. This tells me that they were smart and went through the line separately and both showed their cards. You know what, me and my husband looked at each other, and said "screw it". We left and will not return. If I have to play some stupid game to enter, I will not be back! If this is the way they treat their members, then Sams does not have to worry about me returning. They might slam the door in my face once, but if I let them do it again-shame on me. I will not be back; and I will not be renewing my membership when it expires. I can and will purchase any items I usually pick up at Sams elsewhere. If the parking lot had indicated they were busy, it would have been different. The reality is that their parking lot can be full- and it still is not crowded due to the size of the building. Sams is simply wanting to give the image that they are going over the top regarding safety and the virus. Well I am not impressed with the BS. It is time that able bodied people get back to work. People need to use common sense and mostly do what they should have already been doing as far as the germ theory goes prior to the virus. The stores should have already been sanitizing carts. Everyone should have already been sanitizing often and washing their hands. Everyone should have already been covering their mouth when they sneeze. The club side is fine, you can't go wrong with their selection. My issue is with the tire center. I've purchased three sets of tires for our cars this year and each time I had to schedule to have them installed, at least two weeks out. If it weren't for the savings I'd have just went elsewhere. My issue is with flat repair. People don't "schedule" to have a flat repair done. You get a nail or something and have to go straight to the tire center. One evening my 80 year old father asked me to go with him to get his tire fixed at this Sam's Club, (my dad doesn't get around as quickly as he used to and likes for me to go places with him). We get to Sam's club around 6pm and he and I approach the girl and he tells her he has a nail in his tire and needs it fixed. She tells him they won't be able to get to it that night but to bring it first thing in the morning when they open. I tell dad I'll run it back out for him and we leave. Next morning I show up, same girl and I tell her I'm back with dad's car for the flat repair, she asks me, "Do you have an appointment?" I asked if she was kidding and she told me, "no". I looked at her and let her have it telling her at no time last night did she say anything about making an appointment. I left and took it elsewhere. I did call and complain to the Club manager but don't think any changes were made. Today, one of the new tires on my daughter's car picked up a nail, show up at the Sam's tire center and get told it would be about 4 hours or more before they could get to me as I'm not on the schedule. I left and came to Big-O tires who got me straight in. Sam's Club needs to figure out how to take care of the people they the sell road hazard warranty to. You can't schedule that stuff! read more

All at once and try to bust the shocks in my car. And then i get in there and say "who needs 20 lbs of coffee creamer"? Which spun me into this daydream of a situation where i am flying and there are mountains of coffee crea........shit back to the subject. As you get past all the tvs you make it to the food. I turned auto renew off 3 months into my membership checking on it monthly so I didn't get charged and then I was still charged $100 for renewal I didn't want. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with cus service before finally being told it was an error done in store and they couldn't refund me all they could do was cancel my membership. I started a membership here solely for tires this past year. I have been shopping ever since and have yet to have a problem with a product or their work force. Their prices are competitive for bulk buying and their quality of product to me is top notch. The only downside is you will have to spend some money to shop here(because of the bulk purchasing), however we've adapted to doing this by shopping for groceries and such less times a month. Overall, we've been pleased with our membership and will likely continue to shop with them in the future. read more

It's a big box store that's owned by Wal-mart! What do you expect. This one is better than the one on East New Circle, but it's still a Sam's. I prefer Costco 9 out of 10 times. This place is NOT the place to come if you want to pay cash for gas. When I stopped here and tried to pay cash, the worker kept trying to get me to pay with a credit card and kept standing uncomfortably close to me. When I went to walk away, he asked if my "parent" had a credit card. Excuse me, but I am an adult, and it is none of your business, if I even have a credit card. When I walked back to my car to go somewhere else, he followed me, and then told my husband they did not accept cash. We went somewhere else. I can't comment on anything else, but felt like I received very poor service at the gas station. Can't recommend this place, as the attendant made me feel very uncomfortable. read more
