I stopped by to return an item for a relative. The customer service wait time was short and the returned item was processed quickly. Since I had more time, I decided to look for a few items that I couldn't find at my local Wally World Supercenter. I was able to secure a maroon jacket, but had a difficult time locating Cricut items that were in the far back corner of the store. Unfortunately, the Cricut item I desired was out of stock. The store was busy with last minute shoppers and it was far too many for my liking, so I decided to checkout. Although the lines were long, the cashier monitoring the self checkout station was friendly and offered to check out my item to speed up the process. I really appreciated his initiative. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I absolutely hate shopping here. Well, almost any Walmart really. Tonight solidified one of many reasons why, employees with indifferent/lazy attitudes. I was here for the third time (once is bad enough) and opted for the self checkout. Mistake number one was coming here period. Mistake two was self checkout. I suppose mistake #3 was attempting to make a joke. I scanned several items. One of them said it needed further approval when scanned. The particular item in question was Danimals yogurt. YOGURT. ‍ I kind of chuckled to my daughter & removed the item as the clerk came over and I said "it's some pretty dangerous yogurt" in a lighthearted manner. Her response was to roll her eyes and say (with plenty of attitude) "it's just the camera". Well, it's just my money sweetie and I'll take it right back to where I know I don't get attitude and the customer service experience is far better (Beaumont Kroger, it's near work). It's a shame I didn't catch her name, but whoever she is she was pretty tall, light blondish brown hair and worked the self-checkouts around 10:30pm. Probably late 30's ish. read more

I tried to use my 2 gift cards. She ended up charging me for the gift cards. It was a mess. I had to go to the service desk to get help. Then another customer came over to try to buy gift cards and we all came from the same register. Watch how things are rung up!!! read more

Walmart is Walmart. You either love it or complain about it but let's face it we ALL go to Walmart. It's the place to stock up on pantry staples in addition to health and beauty aids. Their produce selection is really good. Parking can be a challenge. At times many check out lanes are not staffed. Some employees are helpful and some are clueless. All in all you get what you pay for and let's face it Walmart offers savings on a lot of items. read more

Walmart is a larger corporate store with something of everything, so a person could do most of there shopping here, if they wanted to. This Walmart is generally what one would expect from a Walmart, and I have had ok experiences here. This store has ok selection of outdoors, camping gear, and ammo. I keep a few Walmart brand outdoors and emergency items in my car, especially during the winter months. They have decent prices, and a person could create a decent emergency pack from their items. They have a decent selection of craft supplies! I've bought a few clothing items here, like yoga pants and tank tops, and was mostly not impressed by quality. This Walmart carries a few specialty groceries items I have not found at other groceries, so I give them credit for that. As a general principle, I am not a huge Walmart fan. I think of Walmart as low quality imports, with poor ethical practices. poor impact on local economy, and a consumerist store; however, I do occasionally stop by this store, and have had ok experiences here. read more

Spent literally an hour trying to get ahold of someone in sporting goods, then customer service started ignoring the call. I then called deli to speak with "anyone in management" the member of so called "management" said he wouldn't come to that side of store to speak to a customer on the phone. I swear that I am not one to do something like this, but I have had it with the checkout experience at the Walmart in Nicholasville, KY. I dread going in this location because of the terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE, check out experience EVERY time I go in there. I rarely shop there anymore, but it is so close to my house that I can literally see it from my driveway. I have been driving over 5 miles one-way to go to the nearest Kroger. I keep telling myself that it cannot get any worse, and it does. It wouldn't be so bad I guess but the managers are clueless, slow and unaware. They have zero interpersonal skills and must hate their job because they never smile unless it is to another manager that they are talking to. I will not be back in this Walmart...ever read more

I was in Nicholasville, Walmart today to do some last minute Christmas shopping and to pick up a few grocery items. Had picked out a laptop and was having it "held" for me behind the counter while I finished up getting a few more items. I had an associate helping me and the item was "locked" on the display bar. She was short (taller than me, though) and was having trouble with the lock. Had already tried a new set of keys while I waited. Finally had to get another associate to help her as we couldn't see what the problem was. (Being both short). Another associate got it unlocked and almost before I could say thank you, the STORE MANAGER yelled from another department that she, the associate, had customers to help. I was standing right there! He was extremely rude to her. I quickly asked the other associate if he was a manager and was told he was THE manager. So I went up to him and asked him why he thought one customer was more important than me, another customer. He just shrugged and mumbled something about needing her in a different department to help a customer and that I already had someone helping me. Actually SHE was helping me and got yelled at for it. On the floor, in front of customers. He was rude, condescending and had zero customer service skills. I realize what it LOOKED like from across the store, but he was wrong. And rude. Not just to me but his employees. That's not the mark of a good store manager! So I proceeded to leave my cart where I was standing and went to Electronics where I told them I wouldn't buy a computer there and that their manager needing some classes in how to speak and to treat customers. Guess I will go back to Best Buy and buy the computer I was going to buy at Walmart. I'm sure THEY will appreciate it. read more
