And a Members Mark shredder with the attached trash can for $60. I thought these were pretty good deals. I usually go to Sam's once a month for supplies that end up lasting me for several months. Sam's still does a pretty good job keeping everything in stock during these scarcity of times. The roofs over the shopping basket returns are the first I've seen.

This individual followed us closely from aisle to aisle, making no effort to hide their surveillance. This was not "customer service"; it was targeted intimidation. As a family--including a minor--who are openly gay and were dressed casually in hoodies, we felt we were being profiled. Whether this bias was based on our clothing, our sexual orientation, or a combination of both, the result was the same: we were treated like criminals rather than customers. When I attempted to de-escalate the situation by calmly asking the associate if there was a problem, the harassment intensified. Rather than acting professionally, a second associate joined the first, creating an intimidating 'two-against-one' dynamic. This targeted confrontation was aggressive and predatory; it left me physically shaking and fearing for my safety in front of my partner and our 15-year-old cousin. Shopping for basic necessities should not be a humiliating experience. My 15-year-old cousin and frankly, all of us, were left feeling shaken and unwelcome, and as a regular customer, I am appalled that Kroger's "Loss Prevention" standards allow for such aggressive and alienating behavior.

I found a glass shaped pumpkin jar on clearance for 1.30 it was originally 13.99. That was definitely a steal! Right after thanksgiving they had their glass Pyrex storage containers on sale but one get one which of course I did. I also found Murray's Brie cheese on clearance for 4.45 it was 8ozs. There are so many things at this store I don't see at the one on Euclid. Plus I don't have to deal with the hungry crazed students shopping. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I use u-scan so I never really have a long wait in line if any. Thursdays at all Kroger's they have rotisserie chickens for 5.00. The store itself seems to always be clean and well stocked. Of course I still have a harder time navigating the store because I'm so used to the one on Euclid. But it's definitely worth the trip. For $4.10, the salads hold a personal record for me, the largest salad for the cheapest price that I've ever paid. The chef salad: lettuce, tomato, onion, shredded cheese, ham and turkey. The meat was cold cuts, but they were deli meats. The kind of deli meat that they sell there by the pound. The next time, I asked for chicken salad instead of the deli meat, but I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken salad. I also bought a pound of pimento cheese. It was fantastic! The only thing that I didn't like is that they don't use gloves when they prepare the food and I watched as one went straight from working the register to the preparing food.
