Don't buy tires at Sam's Club. I bought a set of four tires, prepaid to have them delivered to this location, and the customer service and communication was not good at all. Imhad to call back three times on the day they were promised in and had to tell the Sam's Club person what size they were for him to look for,them. Fortunately, I knew what size I ordered, but expected him to ask for my name or member number to look up the order. When they installed them they broke and cracked two of my center hub covers because they didnt know how to fit the one tab into the slot on the wheel hub. Somthey hit itmwith anhammer until it broke. I am not a mechanic but I figured that out years ago. These folks are not good and not very bright. Buy your tires elsewhere where they have real professionals. read more

We have had great service at Sam's even during the pandemic. Yes, they are sometimes out of things but the same thing is happening at all stores. The order online and pick up service is very efficient, friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that they are offering this kind of service to their customers. Costco does not! I bought a Sam's Club membership for the solitary reason of buying a reclining couch only Sam's Club carried. I had to order it to be delivered because they didn't have the color I wanted local. So I paid $154 freight delivery. One year later, the couch recliner broke. I called customer service and they were very polite. After research, I was given a reference number, told to take the couch to any Sam's Club and I'd receive a full refund, including shipping. I went to the Bell Road location. The In-person experiences Member Services at this Sam's Club was horrible. Why would ANYONE choose them over Costco. Horrendous customer service. I was told to unload the couch and bring it in before they'd even talk to me. (Im a 145 woman). I come this Sams club all the time and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Today I had a terrible experience with one of the employees collecting carts outside. He had the cart machine they used to push the carts right behind my vehicle. After I was done loading the groceries, I asked him if he could move the carts to I can leave. He told me that I wasn't leaving yet so I shouldn't worry about it. I told him that I was about to leave right now and he continued to say you're not don't worry about it in a condescending way. I don't understand what I said or did to make him talk to me in a rude manner. I asked why he was being rude to me and he said that he wasn't and that I wasn't leaving yet and finally came to move the carts out of the way. I don't know if he got mad because he was talking to what seemed to be a buddy of him who was loading their vehicle with the things they had just bought. When I got in my vehicle I could see that he was mad throwing his hands up and talking to another employee who was walking towards him. That wasn't okay and I gave him no reason to be rude like that. Horrible experience due to this guy. He reminded me of a moody teenager talking back to his parents. All I did was ask him to move the carts so I can leave. read more

I totally disgusted with Sam's club.com I ordered my wedding flowers from sams club.com. I got a confirmation that our flowers would be here on may 4th 2018. Our wedding was may 5th 2018. Sam's club told we don't know where they are call.fedex..fedex had a different story everyone we talked to. Then monday after our wedding I get a email from sams saying there was a problem with the grower. Fedex tells me Sam's club didnt even have then scheduled to be delivered till monday may 7th 2018. Took my car in on Sunday for a flat tire. Had to deal with C (don't want to put his full name) he might have been the rudest employee I have ever felt with. It seemed like everything I did/asked annoyed him. I used my Sam's club app to show him my club card rolled his eyes at that, I had to borrow the keys to grab something out of my car that I forgot he threw the keys at me and rolled his eyes at me again. He would only give me one word answers that were very rude and a snark remark. Not sure if he was having a bad day or what but I pray that nobody else has to deal with C. I have bought multiple sets of tires from Sam's club but will never be buying from them again because of him. He even told me I picked the wrong day to come and that I will be waiting multiple hours for my vehicle. Like I wanted to have a blowout on the freeway and come in there. We bought 4 new tires for my wife's Cadillac SRX went on the Scheduled day and time they took her car after a short wait. She gave them her cell number and asked them to rember to put the valve stem covers back on because they were custom with the Cadillac insignia on them. When the car was finished she took a quick look and the tires looked good and the valve stem covers were there. Two days later at a closer look at the covers 3 out of the 4 were gouged and scrapped like they used plyers to remove them probably by the fourth one they realized you have to use an Allen rench to loosen them. read more

My experience at this Sams club wasn't from a bad experience with the team members or even any product. It was during my interview with Lisa. I arrived 20 mins before my scheduled interview time for 10:30am and wasn't seen until nearly 15 mins into my interview time slot. Lisa approaches me with an angry look on her face and asks me to throw out my coffee... which wasn't a problem. I didn't understand why , but I agreed. We walk up to this room where she tells me she doesn't have a copy of my resume , "because she has people who do this for her that aren't here..." (the blame game) and asked me to explain my previous work experience and I added in having children and not being able to work nights. She tells me the position is only from 1 to 930pm with rotating days off. Which wouldn't work for me and I thanked her for being upfront , so no one would waste any farther time. ( then I already had )... she closes the interview with... "Anyone who brings a drink to an interview is unprepared in my eyes." Mhmm 15 mins late to the interview... has no idea of the position I applied for or anything about my work experience is speaking on unpreparedness... I was shocked. Got up and walked out. Well in my eyes it is very unprofessional to not properly handshake a potential employee when meeting... it is rude and unkind to not smile while approaching someone you do not know and it is even more unprofessional to blame other people for why you are UNPREPARED. The way you treat people is a reflection of who you are... not anyone else. read more

I really wish I could give zero stars for this Sam's Club. We just left from trying to return an item, but after 20 minutes waiting in line we left. The first person in line was still at the one register open at the Member "Service" counter. Their excuse was that they are moving the member service counter. This is poor planning at best. I shop Sam's Club on Bell a few times a month and I am always happy. However, while the government shutdown of 2019 was ongoing, I came in as part of our charitable organization to buy food for the government workers.We had about $200.00 to spend and were trying to maximize that by buying things like soup, ramen, PB&J, etc. Talked to the manager about what we were doing, and she immediately gave us a gift card for $50.00, which we turned around and spent immediately. I have never had such bad service at a Sam's club. We bought diapers and the receipt checker wouldn't even make eye contact and wouldn't stop talking to another employee. Then when we were trying to get gas and the pump kept saying invalid card, so we went to another pump that said the same thing. WE JUST USED OUR CARD INSIDE AND IT WAS FINE. The Sams Club on W Bell Rd in Surprise AZ is not there the customers. I took advantage of one of there promotions on a $400 gift card if you upgrade ti an Iphone 11. I was given the gift card at the time of the sale. When I went to us the card it did not work. I went to speak to the phone service company (OSL) at Sam's club and they gave me a "dear in the headlights look." They call a Sam's club manager ( Josh and general manager Steve) who wanted nothing to do with it and would not talk to me. Very poor costumer service for managers, how do they expect the employees to give good customer service if they can't. They stated not their problem. Well to me as the customer it is!! They hired this group to sell the cellphones, so it most certainly is their problem. Beware! Don't go to this Sam's Club..... I would give negative stars if the system would let me. read more

Sam's is definitely cheaper compared to Costco and Sam's is more conveniently located as well (Even though I have to admit Costco is nicer). I have been coming here for years and some of the staff recognize me from time to time. Especially Miss Nancy who takes care of the fuel area which I frequent quite a bit. There have been times where the wait to check out has been crazy as they would only have may three lanes open and the lines backed up. So make sure you bring your patience here as people can get a little testy when the lines get long. read more

Just moved out here from Houston where there were alot of Sams Clubs. Always had great service so was excited to see if Phoenix kept up the same quality of customer service. I went to SAM's club and always pay my account off in full monthly. On Sun 5/7 I purchased $39.52 stuff and having left my SAM credit card home decided to pay with a check. The check I paid with was off an account that was originally a checking account that I forgot had been switched to a saving account. I called Sam's club and offered to go in person and pay in cash the $39.52. They said no, it had already gone to a bank nothing they could do. I called the bank and it took an act of God to get a human being but I did get a Rick Foster at 800-927-0599 X6495. Very nice man, said "No problem, we can get it resolved. He told me to call him back the following Monday the check did not yet clear. I called him back Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Friday left my name and phone number ever time. NEVER received a call back. All that had to be done was put it on my Sam's club Credit Card and this entire thing could have been resolved from day one. On Friday after not hearing from Mr Foster I called 800 366-2425 and spoke with a supervisor named Andy 8033677. He asked me all kinds of questions about the checking account routing # account n# drivers license etc. I kept telling him the account no longer existed as a checking account number is has sinced been converted to a savings account so it is not the same number. Then he insisted I call Sam's club and have a supervisor from the store and told me directly NO, they would not call the bank numerous times. Is this any way to run a ball game? I can without a doubt say I will not be renewing my membership. read more

It took me forever to checkout because the cashier had no clue how to ring up coupons I had. They have no boxes!!!! so i had to put all this food in my car and it all rolled around, very disappointing. I love the pharmacy. The people who work there are awesome. I know I am not the only customer yet the know me by name and treat me with so much respect. I had a little mistake with the bakery this week but they were quick to fix it for me. I also have purchased a few pieces of jewelry which I love. I have no problems returning anything. Who doesn't love saving money on great deals. We stock up on bulk meats and cut our own steaks. SO Yummy, thank goodness for the food saver. Just recently we invested in a meat grinder to make our own hamburger. Way less fat and we can get alot of steaks, a roast and hamburger from a good chunk of meat. Visited today and I have to say it was terrible. The store was moderately busy; however, when entering there were no carts. I walked back to the nearest one I could find in the parking lot. Actually collecting merchandise was not an issue. I use the app to scan and pay so I don't have to wait in line and can go straight to the exit. To my surprise, the device they use to scan your phone and verify your receipt was not working. Instead of explaining what was going on, we were pushed to the side and anyone with a paper receipt was helped. I felt as if we were being detained for shoplifting being pulled to the side. Finally, another employee came over yelling over the radio to get another scanner. Eventually, after 5-10 minutes, they brought another working scanner, and the female employee began scanning the carts behind us instead of using common sense and working from the exit door back. After she scanned the phone and item in the cart, there was no apology or any customer service skills. It's not the first time I've encountered poorly trained employees at this location, but this by far was the worst. read more

We had purchased a few hundred feet of flooring a few weeks back. The price was actually very reasonable. After cross shopping at Floor and Decor and Home depot, Sam's club came out the cheapest. In addition, the vinyl floors came with foam backing which is usually an extra expense at other places. BTW the floors look fantastic and seem to be very durable. The issue occurred when returning a few boxes left after the project. We had an electronic copy of the receipt and the original credit card but they were not able to pull up the original purchase. Not sure why, Costco returns are so easy, even if you don't have a receipt, they are able to pull up the purchase by member card. Anyways after involving the manager and about 15 minutes, they obliged and took the flooring back. Would have been a five star review if they can only make the return process a little easier like most of the other competitors. read more

I compare Sam's Club to Costco and the prices overall about the same for the items I purchase, but the service is so much better at Costco. This particular Sam's club seems to understaff significantly so that wait times in line are most painfully long: I waited almost 10 minutes to purchase a hotdog at their lunch counter when there were only three us in line and I was waited at the service counter for another 10 minutes and I was the only person in line: I finally gave up and left. Sam's club only accepts a few credit cards, so for all practical purposes the credit card you have probably is not accepted. read more

Recently purchased pork shoulder Boston butt from Sam's and the package was not properly marked. The package didn't indicate that the product was bone in. This package of meat sold for$2.48/lb. Same product from Frys sells for$1.99/lb. I don't see the discount savings. I called manager and was told product came from vendor and Sam's had no control over labeling, of course manager didn't offer to give me a credit for my purchase. That was nearly $5.00 difference, guess I'll have to be more vigilant of what I purchase from Sam's in the future. read more

Terrible customer service. Rude employees (every time I've been). Reminds me why I go to Costco & not renewing membership with Sam's Club. Extremely frustrated. I found a table at Scottsdale store but it had a mark on it, they said they had the same one at the 15th Ave & Bell store if I wanted to go get it there or they'd give me 10% off the marked up one. Called 15th Ave store & put it on hold for me. I drove there, stood in their always long customer service line (with only one employee working behind desk, taking phone calls & assisting in store customers). The customer service lady rings the table up & it's almost $100 more than the one at the Scottsdale Store. I explained they told me at the Scottsdale store that it was discounted because its a canceled item for Sams Club & not discounted because it was last one with mark on it; in fact the Scottsdale store said they'd take 10% off price if I wanted the marked one. She offered no apologies or reasoning as to why it was more at that particular store. She blamed the Scottsdale store for not telling me they were different prices. She was trying to rush me away from service counter. Usually when stores have 2 different prices on same item, they give to paying customer for the lower priced one, but not Sam's Club apparently. Now I see why Costco is always busy & Sams Club is always slow. read more
