They didn't update the app and were yelling the wrong name after I ordered a pizza, when I went up after about 20 mins they had sliced my pizza and put it on the display rack and made me wait 15 minutes to cook another pizza. read more

I like shopping at Sams, for the most part. BUT, sometimes, especially in the meat department, I am sooo disappointed! I just bought 2.27lbs. of Beef tenderloin Filet Mignon steaks @ $24.98/lb. 4.7 oz. of it was tendens that had to be cut out! That is not marbling. And this is not stew meat! Needless to say I did not serve them as whole steaks... This is the first and last time I will buy Filet Mignon! read more

I was checking out at Sam's with over $600 worth of groceries. There were only two girls checking people out. There were other employees, at least three, just browsing their cell phones, or standing around talking. I asked Leticia if she could help put the groceries back in the cart as they normally do. The one girl Leticia was talking to said she was on break and stormed off. Leticia informed me that she was on self check out duty. (No one was using the self checkout lines.) Both of the open checkout lines were at least six customers deep. However, Leticia and the other workers seemed to think that it was OK to just stand around and watch the only two young girls proceed to checkout all of these customers on their own. Lazy and rude. SAMS please recognize who your hard workers are and fire the lazy ones before you lose your customer base. read more

About 2 weeks ago went in to pick up a few items. Noticed a garden soil display outside. Since I had some bulbs to plant decided to pick up a large bag.. I was on way to renew my membership while talking to a friend who was at Sam's in Metairie . My friend was telling about the gas savings at Sam's when I got to Sam's on Northshore I found the gas prices were actually higher than most stations in the area. I really felt like that was a benefit of Sam's I really think I can skip the membership if they aren't going to provide the biggest savings for me . Great job Sam's lost another member. read more

Sam's Club is a massive one stop shop for nearly everything your heart desires. Need jewelery? Check Need tires? Check Need furniture? Check Need a bad ass gas grill? Check Need a...You get the picture Sam's has everything. This location is constantly packed regardless of when you arrive. The parking lot gets full, the store is difficult to move around in (especially on the weekends) and I can never get out for less than $200 bucks, but it is still awesome. Membership is $40, but if you go frequently it will pay for itself. One negative is the lack of payment and bagging options. As for bags, there are none. You use old boxes to haul away your purchases. As for payment, they don't take most credit cards. I believe it is either debit, cash, check or mastercard. Sam's does offer a free one day pass if you are considering membership. It is well worth it just to peruse the store. read more

Went into the Slidell Sam's Club today. I live in Waveland, MS. I was looking for an 8 volt Golf Car Battery. They usually have them, but I called before I went. I spoke to a guy in the Tire/Battery department, told him what I needed, and asked to confirm that they had them in stock. He fumbled around a bit and said "yes, we have 8 if them". I told him that I was leaving Waveland right then, and to please hold one, all I needed. I did exactly that - got there in about 35 minutes. Went to look for battery. Got dumb looks from the the guy I spoke to and another guy. "Uh, somebody must have bought them all". Me: "in 35 minutes, you sold all 8?" Him: "Uh, yeah." Me: "I well told you I was on the way, and asked you to hold only one!!!!" Him: "Uh, dude, we don" do dat." Me: "And it didn't occur to you to say that??" I asked for a manager. I lit him up. No real resolution. I'm pissed at myself, because what I should have done was to say: "prove you sold them." (It was only 35 minutes from initial phone call. Not a single transaction was rung up while I was standing there - so how many transactions would have happened in the 35 minutes between my call and my arrival? They have to scan the bar code on every battery sold for warranty, and print a full sheet receipt. No chance it happened. The worker was lying his ass off - 100% he never checked. Manager was blind-sided, but I doubt there will be repercussions for this. Hey, Sams: thanks for making me waste just under 1.5 hours round trip. read more

I love this store! It just has more of a selection and it is most definitely cleaner then my Gulfport Sam's. Now I love my Gulfport Sam's but I have no Costco so I am just grateful to have the place. The Slidell Sam's is nicer, newer and I have been able to get items here that I could not get in Gulfport. Now I hate to say it but when Costco finally arrives Sam's will be my second choice. We appreciated Michael, one of the managers (the one from Baton Rouge), going the extra mile after the customer service associate told us twice that there was nothing she could do to help us. We understood the company guidelines, but the new manager took the extra step to investigate our situation and then to offer a refund. Scanning my own items and walking right out at Sam's has made shopping in bulk so easy! The only thing that I don't like is that you can't have 2 separate orders. You have to check out, leave then come back in to split the orders. I shop for my elderly mother and can't give her a separate receipt (which she wants). Fix that and Sam's will get 5 stars from me. read more

I will never order again at Sam's Bakery I asked for a birthday cake with flowers, and they gave me a cake I didn't ask for. Then the bakery associate was rude she barely act like she wanted to take my order. I'm extremely disappointed never ordering a cake from sams again ! read more

I live with 3 teenage boys so Sam's is a life saver. Bulk items reasonably priced. If you have a big family this place just makes sense.

The team in the tire center is awesome! I came in for them to check a tire that had a slow leak, and told them I was thinking about going on a road trip. They had the initiative to also check my spare tire which was completely out of air and filled that up for me as well. Can't imagine if I had road problems and had not been able to use the spare! THESE BATHROOMS ARE DISGUSTING....both men's and women's...no toilet paper at all in the men's (as reported to me by my husband) NOT in ANY of the men's stalls. And only located in some of the women's stalls..yulk....these should be thoroughly cleaned each and every day, there are enough employees standing around for that !!! Perhaps an improvement within the management needed at this location. So disappointing to have such poor maintenance at a Sam's Club. Just expected much better. I feel this must be the norm at this location, because there was so much dust located on the sides of the toilet paper holder, I drew a smilie face with my finger. Oh my !! If I were a member of management at a business where the bathrooms were totally, metal, aluminum and tile, nowith no sheetrock, I would have the employees mix up a mop bucket with water and a great clean smelling disinfectant...completely mopping down every square inch of the restroom as far up the walls that could be reached with mop....then rinse with water hose, allow to air dry until opening of business the next day. If time did not allow, use a floor fan. This would be so much appreciated. And says a lot for a business. read more
