I have only dealt with them once so far, but I was absolutely thrilled. I needed a last-minute,…read moresame-day bouquet of flowers to surprise my wife on her birthday. (Had the idea several days prior, meant to call earlier, kept forgetting. Slack of me, I know). I called first thing in the morning, and the lady who answered the phone was polite and very accommodating. "Yes, of course we can put a little bouquet together and certainly we can deliver it today." A total life saver! The bouquet was beautiful, my wife was thrilled, and her co-workers were jealous (of husband and bouquet). Delivery time from phone call to drop off was only about an hour and a half, but the shop isn't far from my wife's work. It was a little pricier than I expected to spend but the price was not unreasonable considering the great service and the wonderful bouquet we got. A fantastic experience. I will be patronizing them again in the future. Highly recommended for all you slack husbands out there.

The arrangement was stunning! It's been over two weeks later and the flowers are still lovely, of course after pulling out the spent stems. The bouquet with tax and delivery was also stunning, but worth the excitement and being able send love to her from afar.

Such a good art spot! While visiting the Mandeville Lakefront, I decided to stop for coffee and…read morepastries at The Bean since it had been recommended by Google Searches, and it was well worth it. The inside of the shop had beautiful art of many different mediums and reasonably priced, yet sturdy stone rings(which i bought one of). The coffee could've used a bit more flavoring but was overall fairly nice. Lastly, The Bean had GLUTEN FREE scones that were filling and wonderful! Go check it out!

Welp I may be in the minority, but I'm just not a fan of tapas. In general it isn't a good value…read moreand in the case of The Pawn Shop what we ordered just didn't satisfy. The brussel sprouts are swimming in creme fraise and that was a turn off. I have rarely met a brussel spout I didn't like but it was not good. The poached shrimp dish ( name escapes me) comes in flavorful and nice tasting broth accompanied by great bread, BUR there were only 4 shrimp for over $20 - definitely not worth it. The tostada with roe wasn't bad, but it was unremarkable. Lastly the hanger steak was waaaayyyyyyy too salty and that alone cancelled out the pretty good, but meager, side veggies and minuscule teaspoon of polenta. It is an 'experience' to enter the restaurant through the faux pawn shop... You DO need to bring something to "pawn/leave" and that was fun and kinda funky but overall I wouldn't go back again, no do I think I can recommend it to others based on our experience. Our party had four people and 3/4 felt the same way.

Such a cute old school pharmacy shop! If they had an ice cream parlor I would be complete!! It's…read morebasically your mom and pop type pharmacy! It's a pharmacy where everyone knows your name :-) They have plenty of medical necessities for ourchase such as creams you find in the hospitals (calmseptine) to locally produced items such as candles and Nola apparels. I usually come here to fill a prescription that other "retail" pharmacies do not carry. Today they only had a few of my pills left in stock. They filled what they had and will call me next week to come get the rest. How nice! I really like that old town feel that we are currently missing! I hope everyone can come support their locals. I think my prescription may be a few dollars more but worth it for supporting my local pharmacy.

Then the guy behind the pharmacy counter asked me if I was picking up meds- and I said "no, thank you very much for your good customer service" and then I looked at him- a man would like to hand me medicines for my very ill husband... unmasked. Then I looked around and all 3 of the employees I saw in the store were unmasked. I understand people's desires for freedom, but I also know the burden of dealing with long term effects of viral illnesses- and I know the burden of caution for someone I love who is highly vulnerable. It isn't something I would wish on anyone- and I don't just wish- I know my actions to prevent the spread of illness matter. I'd think a pharmacy next to the hospital would do better. I've seen this at restaurants and grocery stores- but a pharmacy?? Put a sign on the outside "attention- employees at the store don't wear masks- if that's cool with you come on in. If you are visiting ting someone at the hospital with a high infection risk or have a high infection risk yourself- shop at Walgreens" I would've gone elsewhere.
