I tried walking into the Target, but I missed. As Targets go, this one is pretty good. There is a good selection of clothing, baby stuff, toys, outdoors equipment and electronics. There is a small food section, but since this isn't a Super Target, the food section is limited. The staff are friendly and helpful. This store has a Starbucks attached in case you need a caffeine fix. The store is located in a huge strip mall complex. There parking are is also large, but you may have to park far away. Also in this complex are a Best Buy, Jc Penny and a World Market. There are numerous other shops, but they don't interest me. read more

Hi just purchased a loaf of gluten-free bread from target in Covington, and the entire loaf was full of mold. When I called to try to swap out the bread was given a long drawn out process just to swap out a bread, I was not even looking looking for money back! read more

The manager on duty was rude and unhelpful. I was getting in a checkout line and as I got in it the lady turned off her light and said she is closed. The only response I get from the manager is she is a minor and has to leave at a certain time. I responded with I understand that but it is bad business to close a lane with someone in line. Her response was she has to leave. I know it isn't a big deal to target but had about 250 dollars in stuff. I will not be back to this location to buy anything. read more

Good stuff reasonable prices. Likes: Selection of men's clothing. Selection of video games. Cafe food makes for a cheap snack for the kids. Nice home furnishings. Dislikes: Wish they had more computer and electronic accessories. Small sporting goods selection. If you're looking for a more expansive assortment of electronics, go past Target to Best Buy. This is the first Target I have seen that sells groceries and I noticed a good part of them are cheaper than even Walmart. Wow! They also have Pizza Hut here which I love since I'm a Pizza nut and they also have a coffee shop although I didn't catch what it was. PJ's? Not sure. One thing I noticed about this store is that they always seem to have enough check outs open to accommodate customers without you having to wait in line forever like at Walmart. In a world of Targets, this Target stands out head and shoulders above the rest! Nice employees, a wonderful selection, and unique items in stock regularly. I like to hit up this Target when I take the rare trip to the North Shore. They have a great clothing department and I love their household items. It seems like they always have a large clearance section which is fun! I particularly love their grocery and personal care section. I was blown away when I was strolling through the drink section yesterday and found a huge variety of La Croix waters, the selection of which are extremely limited in New Orleans. I just love this store. Also, they never have long lines and and the employees are very helpful. While in line at the checkout, the cashier yesterday took the time to explain the Cartwheel app and waited while I downloaded and scanned everything I bought so I could rack up major savings! I love Target and prefer it over Wally World. I was able to find every single item on our school supply lists for a Junior High and Middle School which has never happened for me in the last 8 years. All was good except the checkout experience this evening. Our cashier had a lasting conversation with the cashier 1 lane over regarding her upcoming trip to Virginia and DC. If that wasn't bad enough, as I reached for my receipt, instead of handing it to me she sat it down on my bags. And if THAT wasn't bad enough, she rang up a snack for her chat buddy and as I was still loading my bags on the cart, he reaches in front of me and my bags to scan his card on the card pad. That just Sucks! Horrible customer service. I talked to the CSM who said he would use this as a teaching moment for her...I sure hope so! read more

Target has like everything I need clothes , shoes, food / groceries, electronics just everything. Target always has things that go with the season / holiday. For example when it's the beginning of the jail yer it has everything you would need for the jail year. Awesome backpacks. Also the workers are very nice . read more

This store is hit or miss. They have a huge staff turnover so I think that may be one of the issues they are having. I know the Target in Slidell closed, so maybe this store was not ready for the extra shoppers. It seems like the customer service line is always long, the trash is always full, the carts are usually dirty and have trash in them, and they are always out of cart wipes. I have stopped using the bathroom there unless its an emergency because it is often extremely unsanitary, I won't even describe some of the bio hazards I have witnessed in the ladies' room. About a year ago, this Target was decent. Now, not so much. This use to be a 3.5 - 4 now its more like a 2.5. read more

Decent range of choices for home furnishings, baby stuff and food stuff. Good number of cashiers-we haven't had to wait long. The usual garish, hard to feel comfortable lighting that seems standard for Target stores. Clothing sections that have a little of what I need and a lot of what i don't. It's hard to say if I like it or not y'know? It's a case of low expectations for me-better here than the one in Austin or on Tchoupitoulas St. in NOLA but still a bit of a marathon to get around in and sometimes feels like my soul fell out around the front doors. When will Target start to offer organics? Bamboo and cotton clothing that is good for the environment? Healthy choices for the consumer in the baby goods? We keep finding stuff at the store and then ordering a better version online for delivery at the same or lower cost from other suppliers. read more
