Be nice if you would TURN THE LIGHTS OUT on the pumps when you close. The pumps are all lit up - when you get off the road to get fuel, there is a little sign (ON THE PUMPS!) the that says you close at 9:00pm. The main sign that tells the price of the fuel was on as well! Only the small sign on pumps gives an indication you are closed. YOU MUST GET THE ROAD TO READ IT. I started shopping at this Sams Club when I was in college in the 90's. I've lived away from the area for many years but still stop through when I am visiting. I have always found the employees to be friendly and helpful. And I love it when I find Marshall University gear/items. I stopped for paper towels, toilet paper, plastic cups, Cottonelle wipes, hand soap and some over the counter medication for my Mom. I was pleasantly surprised to find all the items on my list. They didn't have as big of a stock as I'm use to seeing in Sam's. However, considering the shortage of paper and other items I was impressed. They were handing out a paper towel and had cleaning solution for self buggy sanitation at the entrance. All the employees were in masks. I went later in the evening so it wasn't hard to social distance from other customers. I also picked up a rotisserie chicken, $4.98, a Marshall t-shirt on clearance, $4.94, a Marshall U cup set, $29.98, and a breakfast pastry assortment for $4.98, which we all enjoyed! read more

Sam's club cafe is not what it use to be. I went specifically to have a hotdog for my dinner. Over a year ago they revamped everything & stopped offering Coke products & done away with sauce for the hot dogs. So I only got a plain hot dog. They already had them premade n in a warmer. So I thought you get what you pay for & went immediately to my car to head home. I was in the car within 3 minutes, unwrapped it just to find out it was room temperature. Good grief they have to know when they reach in the warmer it's not working. I hope no one gets food poisoning. read more

Paying$100.00 for membership I get home only to discover that a food that I bought there today had already expired over a "year" ago! I am fuming! Good thing they were closed when I discovered that very out dated food! What's wrong with Sam's club,! Someone needs to be at the unemployment line risking my life and health as well as numerous others! Please share this with everyone you know. It could save a life. read more

The gas pump said insert card and scanned my card. It said one moment please for about ten minutes. I tried to cancel it. I don't want to leave and have my card pay for someone else's gas. The store is closed but the gas station is fully lighted. Other vehicles are pulling up to gas also. read more

My wife's vehicle was badly damaged by a shopping cart a few months ago. Sam's has been less than helpful. The manager didn't file a report like she should have, and we were told that they weren't willing to cover the damage. We were told by the manager that there weren't cameras in that area, and then told by corporate that there are. Mind you, the cart was still against the van when my wife came out. We were told that they had someone working that was in charge of collecting carts and that they were doing what they could to keep the lot clear. I asked them how they knew this employee was doing their job when clearly the manager was not doing hers. I got a response via letter stating that the manager had done nothing wrong. We are more frustrated with the way we were treated than we are with the money we have to spend to fix the van. Sam's absolutely did not care, and made no effort to act like they did. For this reason we will not shop there again. The despicable attitudes of everyone involved is infuriating. We have always enjoyed shopping there. But, we now realize that the multi-billion dollar company does not value our business enough to at least act like they care. read more
