The tire department is a real shit show now let me explain this 2 weeks ago I set my appointment on a Friday in the morning I get a call on Thursday with a very incompetent employee demanding I switch my service date when I asked he said they overbooked on that day and time. Then they have the audacity to demand I switch my appointment and thats not even the end of it. I drive to sam's club thinking my tires are finally going to get changed now it turns out the incompetence extends through the chain because after all of this shit show the manager had to fuck it up on his part because he didn't order the tires and They realized until I got there. Facilities seems so much cleaner.. staff are still a bit difficult to communicate with. They act "too busy" or there's a language barrier which most times leave us standing there waiting for a long while for someone to speak in English to us. Meat and veggies areas are always crowding, assuming from observation is because of the way it's situated... not a smooth flow and causes "Cart crashes".. food prices at food court has came down some and made the experience rather enjoyable.. thx sams club All in all still a good trip for the week read more

Despite already being a Costco member I signed up yesterday and these were my findings: - Membership cost went up to $60 from $45 - Service is SO slow! Just being in the member services line to get my member card took 20+ minutes while an employee processed a return - Voiding an item at self checkout took manager approval. Waited 10+ minutes for a supervisor to void the item. -Cafe closed at 1800. - Not as good or many of products as before. No multiquat sanitizer, no bulk tobacco, no Rotella T6, electronics section definitely not as good as I remember 10 years ago when I had a membership. -Did I mention no tobacco sales? Be careful when using their app for pickup orders. The associate responsible for doing your online shopping order for you in store will not pay close attention to the freshness of fruits and vegetables as you would do yourself. It was obvious to me when i looked at the strawberries that there was mold on them. Yet, that is what the Sam's Club associate put in my trunk with a smile. I didn't see them until i got home and started to put food away. The answer i was given was to return the strawberries to the store for a refund. I live 27 miles away from Sam's Club. TWENTY SEVEN. And I am supposed to be further inconvenienced by driving there and back, wasting gas, to be reimbursed for moldy strawberries. So much for the ease of pick up orders. read more

I don't get a lot of the negative comments left here. The cafe is awesome consider the cost of food lately. Everything arrives fresh every day on truckloads and the meat is cut daily. I do wish there was more variety with certain items buts its Yuma the size of the city doesn't really warrant some higher end items. The lines can be long in the weekend given I just use scan and go and avoid. I don't get why people still feel the need to wait in line. If you don't like what's picked out for you from scan and go stop being lazy and get out and shop, walk lift something on your own. Everyone has always been friendly and yes I occasionally get a worker who might be having a bad day. But it's hard work people react to stress differently. Overall I do love sams club is it perfect absolutely not. Don't like the bathrooms use your own ‍. People always make a mess in areas that aren't their homes. How does this Sam's Club have such a low rating?! Let's remedy that! I have no complaints whatsoever about this Sam's. The employees have always been nice and helpful, the food at the deli is good (and super affordable!), the items I want are always in stock, the samples given around the store are yummy, the prices are amazing, the store is clean, the produce is fresh, they have some cute clothes and shoes (I got some Tom's for cheap!), and the app lets you scan as you go and pay by phone to bypass the checkout line before exiting the store. Seriously, what more could you want? I used to drive to the Costco an hour away but finally caved and got a Sam's membership and truly I am SO GLAD I did. Best devious ever! Not really thrilled with Sams today. Store did not open at 10am as expected. They were unorganized and not ready for people. They moved member services to another area. Got there right as they opened for a simple 1 item return. They had 3 unorganized unprofessional employees. Couldn't have been anymore inefficient. Stood for 15 minutes. I had 15 more people behind me. The store had several isles blocked off where they were stocking pallets on shelves, crap everywhere in the isles. This should be done long before customers enter the store. Super lacking in new product. Still trying to push leftover Christmas! All this and you have to check yourself out. Store lacks customer service and friendly employees. On the flip side I am glad it is here because there is no Costco. But definitely will drive to a Costco next time. Lol! Sam's Club has had an uphill battle with some of these reviews! I have come to join the fray. Generally, I have good things to say about Sam's Club, despite my lifelong loyalty to Costco. As anyone would tell you, both warehouses have their similarities. Where Sam's Club has Costco beat, however, is the mobile app "scan-and-go." As you shop, you can scan the barcodes of your items and pay by credit card. You completely skip the cashiers and even self-checkout lanes. The app generates a QR code which you get scanned at the exit. This is my kind of big-box shopping! Having shopped here as many times as I have, I know the layout well. Since I always buy the same things, I've got my path of least resistance mapped in advance. Again, compared to Costco, Sam's Club does its due diligence. You won't find Kirkland products here, but you will find Member's Mark, and they have some pretty good items. I highly recommend their delicious rotisserie chickens and sushi selection. Where Sam's Club falls short is the food court, both in quality and operation. As some have mentioned in the other reviews, the rudest concentration of staff can be found at the food court. How is that possible? You're surrounded by pizza, hot dogs, and frozen yogurt with a shit attitude? That does not compute with me. In any case, I've had my fair share of transactions with rude cashiers at the court, and to add insult to injury, the food has never been that great! When it comes to inexpensive, heavenly food court food, Costco pulverizes Sam's Club. Sam's pizza may resemble Costco's, but rest assured, it's not even close. Berry sundaes? No. Hot dogs? I haven't even bothered trying. There's no point. After shopping and (usually) avoiding the food court, I'll fill up my car before heading home. Sam's Club fuel is easy to navigate; once again, you can use your mobile app to process the payment. With both the warehouse and gas station, they email copies of your receipts for your records. All in all, not bad, Sam's Club. Shopping is good, fuel is good, food court staff is bad, the food court food is bad. As the first two matters are more important to me, I'd say four stars sound fair. I went to Sam's club to purchase weed killer. I chose a concentrate from ortho, a 2 gallon size. Unfortunately going by the directions and mixing properly. It did not work. Luckily ortho cause I know has some moneyback guarantee. So I called them and explain the situation And they said that they would go ahead and refund my money. No problem. I gave them all the information where and when I bought it and email them a receipt. Sam's club charged me $49.95. When I was speaking with the representative at ortho For the refund she said that the list price for that retail should be $27.95. I know Sam's club didn't pay that for it and they can charge what they want. But that is a hefty mark up above the list price. This is supposed to be a less expensive store to shop. Hands down they're ripping us off. it's $27.95 is the suggested list price I am assuming that Sam's Club paid $15. That would put it over a 300% markup. I will never go back again. read more

Update: they have onions and kraut behind the counter but you have to ask. They also have a cheese burger that's not advertised which was ok. See pictures. You now have to get relish and kraut at the counter. Other than that they have being making chili dogs which are fun. read more

I shopped at Sam's Club in Yuma on 12/9/19. Very turned off when I heard a dog barking. I saw the culprit in a shopping cart and barking. I asked lady if it was a service dog, Her reply was yes it was a service dog for her daughter. I can appreciate that but a true service dog should not be in the shopping cart, not be barking and should have a leash and service dog vest. I will try delivery same as I do with Fry's because I can't stand seeing dogs in the shopping carts. Shame on you Sam's Club for allowing this. read more

Completely unimpressed when corporate decided to have the entire store re-arranged this past summer as to create total chaos for folks who previously knew where everything was. Then, a couple weeks ago, I arrived at Sam's around 8AM only to be told my business account card would no longer allow me to enter during "business" hours, which is before 10 AM. What a joke! Why am I paying for my business account then?? As A Yuma resident, I feel stuck with Sam's, because there are items I purchase here that I can't get elsewhere for my small business. I'm giving this particular Sam's club a "1 Star" rating due to the poor management that they have. I applied at this location when their hiring manager said that "they are hurting in x,y,z areas". I applied in all those areas! Fast forwarding after my second interview concluded and the manager told me that I had the job. He said wait for an email for follow up instructions. 5 days later I get an email saying I wasn't hired. I called and spoke to an incredibly rude manager. She had an attitude to start (not good for your companies image), and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and making this up. I am disappointed in this establishments ability to lead, mentor, guide, and advise their leaders. It's a Sam's Club... what else can I tell you? There are some good deals, some help available, tasty treats here and there, etc. Then, there's some high prices on some items, no help where you want it most, and no samples on the things you really want to try. They also have a lower tax rate on food (I'm still trying to figure this out- it's around 1.4%). All in all, the Walton bro's have Yuma on lock-down. He went to get a free food sample and the dogs face went right up to the serving tray. It was totally disgusting. Last weekend was the first time I've been to the food court. I decided to get a couple slices of meat lovers pizza and a drink, and I think it cost me under $6.00. I get home and remove the foil to find a big slab of hot pizza waiting for me. The aroma was overwhelming and as I took my first bite, I knew this pizza could contend easily with franchises like Papa John's, Dominoes, and Pizza Hut. Plenty of flavor and it didn't taste like salty pizza, and the crust was extremely soft. This is a place I'd go to on the regular when I need my fix. The only reason I gave this food court a four is because I haven't experienced the whole area in totality, but as far as the pizza is concerned, I give it a 10! read more
