Food here is always really good, especially the Greek specialties. The soup is homemade and always delicious. Highly recommend. The service is prompt. Just wish that they would offer regular pizza crust, not just deep dish. read more

Great pizza - the mushrooms were fresh not canned. The antipasto salad was fresh with olives and rolled up meat and cheese. I was really impressed by the delivery. We are at Tilghman Island. The delivery charge was $7 and she said it would take an hour. That's exactly how long it took. The pizza was warm not hot, but it was a 15 minute drive for delivery. I feel really bad writing this. I generally love Sam's. Really good Greek food, wide variety, really nice pizza, and among the best crab imperials I've ever had. Today, though, I wanted a crab cake, and ordered the sandwich. Not a winner... I ordered it broiled; it was pan fried. Could not taste crab or seasoning; it tasted like the fish cakes we would occasionally get served in high school. Really disappointing, especially since we're kinda in the crab capital of the world (Maryland pride!). Around here, I'm used to seeing real chunks (often lump) of soft white crab meat. Not this one; it was pink, and the meat (and unidentifiable veggie stuff) was chopped so fine as to be unrecognizable. Did I mention that it was pink? Really disappointing, especially given how great the crab imperial is. This is truly the only bad meal I've ever had at Sam's, and I eat here year round. It may have been a fluke, but it will be a long time before I try another crab cake here. read more

We were looking to have a casual Southern Italian dinner, and this place looked like the right type, but I would have to describe it as "just OK," based on our full dinners. The service was similarly mediocre: dishes were not presented in a timely, coordinated fashion, with reminders necessary. There was also an annoying number of flies throughout this indoor restaurant. Went here for lunch with my in-laws. Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush. I got the BLT sub, which was heavy on the B and light on the L. The lettuce was kind of old, with some not very nice spots that I picked out. The husband and father-in-law each got a type of sausage and peppers sub and shared, seeming to enjoy both. Mother-in-law got the lamb gyro, which seemed to be the best out of the bunch. The pizzas looked awesome, as did the desserts, so next time I will try to talk someone into splitting both with me. read more

ordered a calzone , asked for extra marinara sauce and even called back to make sure I got extra & the lady on the phone responded with "I gotcha !"... waited an hour for the food anyway which I was okay with so , when the food got here I was nice to the delivery guy tipped him and said goodbye , when I opened my food I realized there was no sauce at all and fortunately the guy wasn't too far away so I was able to flag him down and aware him on what was going on .. He insisted that he would be back and I believed him being that I wasn't that far down from the restaurant.. minutes and minutes go by and he's not back yet so I call . The place closes at 9 I called at 8:52 and the ladies on the phone tell me that I was never charged for marinara so they didn't give it to me but that's what I asked for right ?? Went here for lunch. It was pretty good. Nothing to write home about. But pretty good. I actually had two different sandwiches. My father and I each ordered a large hot sub and gave half to the other. The two subs were the sausage, peppers, and onions sub and the peppers and sausage parmigiana sub. The former was only a two star worthy sandwich. The later was 4 star worthy. That's the primary reason for giving this place 3 stars. Then, subsequently when i tried to call back and order a pizza they proceed to not pick up their phone for 5 minutes and when I finally got through at 850pm, they said they are closed. Nice simple restaurant. Portions are very generous, prices reasonable. The menu has quite a variety which usually means bad things for taste but everyone liked what they had from the Greek sampler to eggplant lasagna to Imperial salmon. Best pizzas in easton or st Michaels ,,,clean average interior Sam is always working there and you get super-sized drinks great family place all food at Sams is pretty darn good,,, reasonably priced as well. Parking is ample they have a thicker crust pizza which is excellent,,, and a nice big Greek salad,,, wait staff will not kill you with over service but it's fine ,,, all in all always good clean and consistent,,,,,GO SAM!!!! read more

Very unprofessional. The way they talk and act. The menu clearly had some things on it that were very reasonably priced, the staff didn't know what they were! All the young kid could say was, "must be an old menu." With such a "I don't give a care" attitude. Horrible. When he asked someone else they didn't know either. And I know they weren't old menu's because they had a stack of them on the desk ready to take on the go with you. I ended up getting my wife the fully expensive version of the crab pizza cause her heart was set on it after they didn't know what the menu was talking about on the cheaper version. I had had their pizza before and it's really good pizza. We decided to go & eat in. Prices were reasonable. We ordered club sandwiches and it came with fries & a little bit of slaw. Service was VERY POOR! We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged and ordered our drinks. When the waitress returned we placed our order. 45minutes passed before our server came back to tell us they were backed up in the kitchen due to carry out orders. I said if we would leave if it would be much longer. Lo & behold, she came back with our order. The fries were lukewarm. The place is not very big but is nice enough. If the kitchen cannot keep up with eat in/carry out service then something is wrong. Either short staffed or poor management- maybe both. I can honestly say I cannot remember a time when I had such bad service. Have always tipped 20% + wherever I go, but not this time...in the future I wil stick with a carry out order- they need some serious fine-tuning on service inside. read more
