My daughter instantly noticed the shake and smoothie machine and told me I had to try it out since she's had it before. The concept of the machine was super cool. You select the cup of shake or smoothie from the freezer, place it in the machine, select your level of thickness, then the machine turns it into the drink. I chose the Oreo flavor and it was very tasty. Once we ordered our chicken from the kiosk, we paid for our meals and chatted with the staff about Royal Farms. She shared with us the perks of signing up for the Royal Farms Rewards Card and how it helps you save on gas, among other benefits. We then grabbed our chicken to go and I must say, it was much better this time than the last time! The chicken was very fresh, crispy and flavorful. So it felt cramped during the time I often frequented it. There is an adjacent Dunkin as a part of the building. I'm sure that's a draw for many & increases their volume of gasoline & market sales from those who like the one stop convenience. It's a draw for me if my Dunkin Iced Tea loving son is in town. Miller's Neighborhood Market is located on the west side of Independence Boulevard north of its intersection with Virginia Beach Boulevard & south of the Haygood shopping area. The market will continue to be an emergency stop for both gasoline and my son's Iced Tea.

I pull up to the gas station and I notice the attendant sitting down and watching tv or her phone in the back which I don't see as a problem with because she got up as soon as she seen me step up to the window. I advised her I wanted $25 dollars on pump 17 and I put in my telephone number which lets the attendant know how many gas points I have that I could use to pay for my fuel,as soon as I gave her my credit card she swiped it ( here I am standing waiting for her to tell me how much I had available( referring to the gas points you receive for shopping at Kroger and Harris Teeter, most of us if not all know what I'm talking about ) she returned my card and my receipt without even asking me about the points. I was kind of disappointed because when I got fuel this past Monday I had .20 off so I knew I had more available to redeem. I don't want to put her name out there because I don't want to cause any problems but I want Kroger to enlighten their employees so this doesn't happen to anyone else,we all want the option to save money so that's my point I'm trying to get across.
