It was a bit of a challenge because although the property is waterfront, only the backside of the garage faced the water, and the rest of the property was seriously overgrown and cluttered. Legacy first drew detailed plan proposals and after three iterations, we had a final plan that more than embodied our vision. Some of the design elements we would never have thought of and they really added to the total. Next we got a detailed cost breakdown and timing. Having dealt with other contractors extensively, I did not expect the budget and timeline to be followed, but they were! We of course, made changes as we went, but each time, Joey would come out to discuss and then he would produce revised schematics, timing and pricing. As a result, there were never any surprises. The end result far exceeded our expectations and we have received lots of kudos from our friends & neighbors (some have hired Legacy themselves!). So this could not have been a better experience and I think this comes down to excellent architecture, superb project management and a steady team that not only knew what they were doing, but also had an artist's touch. I can highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

Once that far in, we got more stupid and allowed them to complete the project which consisted of some limited landscape, hardscape and to sub-contract a deck expansion/rehab. Between taking five months to complete this small project during which we saw no more than two workers at any given time and their grossly erroneous billing practices, we ended the project absolutely frustrated. After a 50k investment that would have been much more if we hadn't kept a watchful eye on the their screwy invoices, a threat of a lien from a supplier even though we had paid in advance and now 12 months later dealing with a sagging and warped deck, we can't imagine why this company is still in business. They were responsive and punctual. Michael showed up on time to give an estimate and provided a quote with 3 days. I was stood up and did not receive so much as a phone call from 2 other companies. 2. Prompt and professional customer service. Whenever I sent an email, my questions were promptly answered. 3. Their bid was fair and reasonable. I received in total 3 bids and the one that was like for like as far as material, installation, and time, was significantly incomplete compared to Michael's, so I went with K2. 4. The work was done and completed to my satisfaction, in spite of winter weather challenges, and I appreciate that more than anything. We sought a new fence to keep our pup safe but not detract from the neighborhood beauty. We decided to go with a pressure treated posts hog wire fence. I have a high standard when it comes to completed work. I want it to look good and be aesthetically pleasing top to bottom. That was accomplished with K2. There are no gaps along the bottom of the fence, it's uniform, gates are well constructed, and concrete posts are covered. I appreciate the work they did and more importantly I love my fence.
