I would recommend Lewis and his crew to anyone! I had them remove a tree, shrub and grind 4 stumps. They were able to come out the day after the bid, worked very fast and cleaned up after everything was done. The day they were here was garbage day in our neighborhood. Since it takes so many trucks to get the job done the cans had to be moved. As soon as they saw the garbage truck come one of the guys jumped over to the cans to make sure it was accessible and not forgotten. I sure appreciated this attention to detail! One tree to be removed. Not sure how tall but probably 150 or 200 Ft. Lewis came out to give us an estimate the day after we called. *(We called late in the day.) They were very courteous and professional. We stood back and watched some of the work. I was amazed at their efficiency. We had to leave before they cleaned up. When we came back the work area was clean, clean. clean! There had been a pile fo sawdust on some river rock and it was all gone. I responded to a craigslist ad about free wood. Within minutes i received a text letting me know they would have some ready the next morning and i would just need to remove asap. Lewis and his team were great. After my maple tree ended up with a break in a large branch, they were quick to come out to give me a quote. Lewis took the time to go over what the tree needed, give me some information, and their pricing was fair. They were even able to fit me in the next day once I decided to go with them. The crew took out the broken branch and gave my tree a much needed trim. They were great and left my yard clean when they cleared out a few hours later. A-1 Tree Service is the way to go if you need any type of work done on your tree. We had them come out last Fall to treat and cut some dead limbs off our weeping Birch. They did a good job but some dead limbs were left. When they called this Spring about another treatment we brought up the dead limbs that were left and next thing we know, they were back and cutting the tree to our liking. After rescheduling for a later date, Lewis and his crew showed up right on schedule and completed the job (removed 6 trees, grinded a stump and pruned 4 other trees) in little over an hour. Had 2 Willow Trees that we're dying that were next to power lines.. was nervous about there removal, but this crew took every step to take them down with all safety in mind.. they were a courteous group that worked great together. Excellent work! 8 trees, 8 stumps grinded well below grade, 6 guys, done in 3 hours. One tree was over the deck, one within inches of the house, fell one thru an RV gate and one leaning towards two homes which they fell the opposite way. Great team work.
