They barely can do their jobs and constantly have an attitude. which is understandable because the kids who also go there are mean and hurtful people. the amount of bullying that has taken place is insane. Both head administrators could careless about what happens in that school. They are more worried about getting paid then kids mental health. I have spoken to many groups of people in all grades about how they don't feel safe or feel they can't be themselves because of the bullying that happens. Those who are themselves have been bullied to the point they switch schools or self harm. I can only name a good selection of teachers who I actually trust and can express myself to. If you're deciding to send your kid to Arapahoe please think wisely about it and understand what kind of a school you're sending your child to. there has been so many rapist at arapahoe that still go there to this day. The school school is so concerned about those vaping instead of worrying about those kids whose mental health and life are being ruined because of the others at the school. I have voiced my opinion many times to the school and nothing has been said or shown to be fixed at the school. So please coming from an 11th grade student.

AHS has always been a progressive Littleton school preparing the students for higher education. I did notice as time was a going on... the biggest difference was the amount of entitlement of some students as the area around AHS grew and became more affluent. The only thing that upsets me was the fact that I received 22 detentions in my last three years at Slavens. It almost felt as if the teachers were singling me out and attacking me. That's not something you want to hear when talking about middle school teachers. Our family started the application process for our son to enter Arma Dei Collaborative kindergarten…read more(Fall/2026) in October of 2025. We met all the criteria they had listed. We went through their very lengthy application process including having to pay for an application fee and $165 for student testing fee. I took my son to the testing. The staff said I had to wait outside the room during his testing and they would privately test my son. After the test, I asked how everything went and what was done during the test. They refused to tell me any details following the test (which was a bit uncomfortable), but told me it would be discussed during our family interview. Again, at the family interview they did not discuss my son's testing...My son is entering kindergarten and is reading at a first grade level. His preschool teachers regularly tell me he is ahead academically. I wasn't concerned about his performance but I do like to know what was discussed with my child and how he did. A day before May 1st, we finally received an answer regarding his admission. He was not accepted there was zero explanation for their decision. Just a short e-mail saying your not accepted, our policy is to not give any reasoning behind our decision, thanks for your time and money. The application was long, drawn out, lacked transparency about what testing your child is being given... and then their answer came at nearly the end of the school year. It is now very late for us to start looking into other programs as many of them are already filled. I called again to see if I could have the results of the testing we paid for but they never returned my call. Ultimately, we know it is best that he was not admitted. We do not want our child in a program that is not transparent with us as parents. It is just very frustrating to have waisted so much time, money and effort to apply. You may match all the criteria they have listed and they will gladly allow you to put in all the effort with zero intention of admitting your child or valuing your family.

They like to pretend they are an underfunded Colorado public school. . . and will harass you at least once a month I have tried several schools in the area (Bright Horizon, Primrose) and this was the ONLY school that treated us this way. . with their hand always out. No Customer service: Don't ever expect this school to meet you 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 way on anything. I am glad I live/work close to school. On snow days they warn people traffic is horrible so LEAVE WORK EARLY and "we close doors promptly at 6" One time (ONCE!) I screwed up a pickup . . and arrived 10 minutes late. A hefty fee was charged. . .for 10 minutes. I didn't do this twice. . .just once. The final kicker was graduation. The last two weeks of school. . before their "little graduation" one of those weeks we were scheduled to be in Orlando. So it made no sense to keep my son in school for two weeks to do graduation. The teacher though really wanted him to go. . and asked Scott (we never would of mentioned it) Scott then sent us this email about how there is so much practice and we don't want "your son" to be lost. . blah blah blah. So then I replied that it made no financial sense to pay 2 weeks of school when he would only be there one final week. If Scott was okay skipping a week and us only paying the week he was there. . [Lets keep in mind both Primrose and Bright Horizon give a prorated week once a year i.e. you can take a vacation and not pay or pay partial] His response - his daycare IS NOT a drop-in. Yeah I know that Scott - if the daycare was drop-in there would be a little attempt to work with parents. So the final answer is NO don't attend graduation. Even though your teacher said it was okay. . . Even though Scott said earlier in the year we paid a fee to cover rental of facility . it doesn't matter we paid over 30k to this school in 4 years. . .NO. This daycare does not care about kids or parents - just his bottom lin Not because your kid will have an issue with graduation (we proposed a solution. . .to his concern that our son wouldn't be "prepared" for the ceremony). No -- because i didn't want to pay for two weeks of care i didn't need. truly can't recommend this to anyone. Find a daycare that not only values your children but values you as a parent. That understand you are paying them a lot of money. . and that sometimes it is okay to meet people 1/2 way.
