Mold everywhere because the humidity was 70% or higher all year long. No wonder so many people got sick. Incompetent maintenance worker who thinks vacuuming the mold from one spot is enough (it's all in the vents). The excuses just keep coming for us parents all the time instead of them even acknowledging that. My kid was non stop targeted by racist classmates and three teachers who did nothing. Looking into making a case to open a TEA investigation but the only one who had all the screenshots, recordings of teachers, and all that apparently left so if you're reading this please get in touch and we can save the future of these kids. Other parents seem to buy the admin since they shared the list of donations (accident maybe?) but somehow their kid is failing multiple subjects but get passed to the next grade. How can a worker not be appalled at everything? And the smell, it's terrible and everywhere. You can see how the classroom floors are littered with food stomped onto the carpets, gum, spill after spill. I will say again. This school needs to be investigated asap. Also, not sure how they can call themselves classical education. They aren't. Just because they have Latin doesn't mean it's classical. Where are my kids notes Cornell style? Why don't they know anything about Ancient Greece and Rome? Are they still using Singapore math? And the 10 year old version? Yes. Also, teachers will never allow a student to get ahead. They will keep every student at the same pace, inhibiting the higher learners and keeping them from being their unique selves. I guess you could say it's a type of brainwashing. And mom win for not having to cook or pack snacks!! The facility is nice and clean and never smells. I love the splash pad and the playground. It's well manicured and looks nice! My daughter loves it. The app is great they always keep you informed which is nice during the day when I'm missing my babies I always check the app for notifications and pictures!! The front desk ladies are amazing. They are always so on top of it and helped me apply for childcare aware with the military which was a pain and then always got me the paper work I needed and fast so THANK YOU! Multiple parents and myself witnessed teachers being aggressive with the smaller children and we did bring up concerns to "leadership". They are focused on opening up a charter elementary school more than correcting the issues in the daycare/preschool. We offered a lot of grace to this school as we wanted it to work out and liked the idea of Christian foundation for our child. They also do not have cameras in the classrooms to validate/review any issues- so you really need to trust your gut and advocate for your child. The only light of hope at this school is Ms. Sharon; she is wonderful and is the main reason we did not speak up sooner.

They'll call me to let me know of incidents that may happen and what they've done to take care of your child. Every day we go home with a report card that has your child's behavior, eating habits, how long they slept during nap, etc. Throughout the summer they have splash day every Wednesday where the children play outside in the water. Every week they have a different theme they focus on and fun activities to celebrate. During the holidays they put on a fantastic Christmas program that every classroom participates in. While my child was there for about a year and a half (I didn't have other choices at the time), she went through a lot of things that I thought were really not okay. The teachers always had excuses that didn't really make sense. What really upset me was when my child came home with marks one day. She had marks that looked like they were from an adult's nails, but they said it could have been from a bush or another kid's hand. I had already talked to the state about problems before, but I didn't see any improvements. The school director and the person in charge of the area just gave me excuses. Nothing worse than your child lifting their arm and saying "dada ouch, dada ouch" over and over. Because of what she went through from the start, my child started biting as a way to protect herself from all the bad stuff. I had cameras on her all day, so I know how often it happened. But the teachers didn't seem to notice as usual. After an investigation, they kicked my child out for biting. On that same day, we got a call from a much better school nearby. Since she moved there, my child is doing so much better - learning more, talking and signing better. I really think the old school and its staff were holding her back. If I could rate that place, I'd give it a 0 for all the awful stuff we had to deal with. Do your child a favor and stay away from here.

I have one child that is about to graduate, and I know she is more than ready to excel in her studies at a premier university. Both of my children were able to grow at LHS not only through their education studies by a small teacher to student ratio, but also through amazing extracurricular activities including complete athletic programs and arts. The faculty at LHS is there because they care about the students and shows in their daily commitments. They over communicate to both the kids and the parents. They keep everyone involved in the process and welcome everyone into the LHS family. I will be sad when both of my children have graduated. I just might find a way to continue being a part of the LHS family!

She has always been a straight A student and an athlete. She did quite well on her SAT's and was accepted directly into one of the top Engineering programs in country which was her first choice of schools. One of the reasons we wanted her to attend a private Christian School was we thought the teachers would lead by example through their own conduct and standards. Most do, but certainly not all. It is my firm belief that any accolades and recognition for excellence received by students, should be based entirely on their own efforts and not who they are related to or for financial connections to the school. Examples of academic and athletic awards consistently going to student children of LHS employees and financial donors to LHS rather than student that actually performed the best, are many. Close examination of the facts will clearly reveal that both nepotism and favoritism are alive and well at LHS. When teaching students that honesty and hard work pay off, it is critical to walk one's talk. If hypocrisy rather than integrity is present in the actions of those in a trusted position of authority, than all the teaching of Christian values leadership and conduct is for naught. Examples of doing what is right, is what we hoped would be present, not situational ethics. Evidently, there is opportunity to learn about both. I cannot recommend a school where the underlying message is: "Do what I say, not what I do."
