The annual San Bernardino Fair is worth a visit if one has not been before. The Truckload Pass is a good deal with advanced online purchase at $17 (otherwise $20 in person). Load up and belt the family in the car/truck (up to six members) and the admission price is very reasonable. It includes parking. The fair only runs for two consecutive weekends. I guess gone are the days of two full weeks of fair fun. Bear in mind that this will be very, very small in scale compared to other county fairs in Southern California. You could probably finish looking at everything exhibit wise within a couple of hours. It is limited in livestock exhibits, in general, and the home arts and crafts are held in just one building. Keep expectations low if you enjoy fair exhibits. The two buildings housing the various other business vendors were also not full at all so shopping for gadgets and whatnots will be minimal to non-existent. However, there were ample food vendors with various choices of typical fair fare. There were also plenty of carnival rides available. I did not stay long enough to watch the shows but there was some musical acts scheduled. The fair grounds are clean and appeared to be safe. Could use a few more benches to sit and rest on. Good for a few hours visit with friends and/or family. Probably not enough to see and do for a full day. The venue is small enough that there is only just a mild amount of walking to access areas. I will probably revisit in a few years. read more

I'm sure impressed with the fair giving 2021 a go, with all of Covid I wasn't sure how this would be for this year. I'm seeing a some food options. There are bands setting up to play. Came for SBC fair 2022 opening day and hugely disappointing. Way smaller then prior years before COVID. Less vendors, less food trailers, less rides, just less of everything all the way around. Took 30 minutes to get a kabob plate and an elote with only two people in front of me in the line. Don't think I will continue coming every year like we use to but instead go to the OC or LA fairs instead in the future. read more

Had a very sad experience at the San Bernardino County Fair today. The people at the gate wouldn't let us bring in a Starbucks drink but allowed others to bring in water bottles and personal cups. Where is the fairness in that. The Sheriff at the gate tried to pick a fight after we took the drinks back to the car. Our Sheriff standards are too low. Once inside, more disappointment. The vendors and displays are almost non-existent. It took an hour and a half to see all the buildings, vendors, animals and walk thru the midway. Unless I decide to enter a quilt in future years, we won't be back. read more

Boy this fair is a joke compared to what it was years ago. Years ago they had a large antique car show, gone. They had section in front where you could adopt puppies gone, they had a section with antique gas powered pumps gone they had a section were you could buy used road signs gone and they don't realize there is such a thing as ROCK AND ROLL in their headline show no they cater to others as usual the way this state has gone. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Also forget about getting a hamburger for under $15 here outrageous food prices! If they could cut some of the money grabbing rides and put something older people can enjoy it would be nice but as usual the old mighty dollar is what drives these pathetic fairs in So California now. read more

First time coming here for Mother's Day weekend for the old school music festival. Parking was $10 cash only which was listed no where on the website. Large parking lot so plenty of parking available. No food or drink inside. Security threw away my mom's water bottle before entering. Inside the fairgrounds is kind of small. There were food trucks lined up inside. We got 5 tacos and 2 drinks from Ricki's Taco truck for $16. Their tacos were about $2 each. Great seasoned tacos at that truck! I'd eat there again. Concert area was a decent size. VIP area was closer to the stage. General admission seating was in the bleachers. There is no assigned seating here for concerts. Seats in the bleachers are just on a first come first serve basis. Grounds and bleachers were pretty clean. Just beware that bleachers can be uncomfortable after sitting there a while and this is also an outdoor concert area. No indoor seating at all and it was freezing on Saturday night! So if you're going for a concert bundle up if it's not summer time. We didn't get any drinks at the bar but I did see a sign that said cash only. So take cash! Even the food truck wanted to charge a $3 fee to pay with a card! read more

Really, I'm exaggerating, I have seen WAY WAY better fairgrounds. But, seeing as this is my hometown for now, I will be nice to my local fair. We went to the county fair and let me tell you it was lame. Not much going on, only a few rides, grimy looking foodstands. We were in and out in half an hour and that was taking our time. Wonderful venue. Swap Meet every saturday and sunday. Good turned out from the crowds and vendors. Currently home to the annual San Bernardino County Fair and Fourth of July Fireworks extravaganza. Many special events in the high desert were organized here. Such as home shows and job fairs. They have a Sports Pavilion with track & simulcast events. Also a Grandstand facility with racing events. Indoor facilities/multi purpose hall are well kept. This is San Bernardino county's designated evacuation center in major events and natural causes. The grounds are large and parking a plentiful. Easy access to the 15 freeway and plenty of businesses around the vicinity. read more

Where do you buy your tickets, from scampers or ticket sales booth? BEWARE... I was out with my family enjoying a day at the San Bernardino Fair Grounds in the City if Victorville. Just beware the security metal detectors are for show only. Event staff are not monitoring the metal detectors nor was there any security checking be any bags at the entrance to the fair grounds. Event staff Eddie allowed scalper to sell entrance tickets at a discount to visitors. When I approached the manager in charge Mr. Chet, and advised him that event staff Eddie allowed scalper to sell tickets to visitors, Mr. Check simply said it's Eddie first day accepted the blame for his irresponsible behavior. read more

I love the fairgrounds and all they do throughout the year.. My only thing I would like them to improve is the section for the kids, it was way in the back this year and if the Police officers and firemen had not called us over we would've never known about it. We absolutely loved the clowns.. as always they are always so upbeat and great with the kids. I also loved the dinosaur walking around that sprayed water on the kids!!! That was a major hit! My kids were mesmerized for a long time following it around. The lorikeets and petting zoo was amazing as well!!! I really appreciate and value everything that the kids as well as adults can do hands on.. way to go!!! read more

Are usually come here on the weekends trying to find deals and I usually find some deals when they have the Swapmeet . They have a variety of plants, vegetables, fruit trees to ornaments, gardening tools and a lot of unusual stuff you won't find it everywhere. I also seem to find old LPs, collectibles, name brand household cleaning supplies. They also have a lot of temporary traveling shows like the home and garden show, dinosaur exhibit, the San Bernardino fair, gun show just to name a few. So, I went here for a rave in april, called 420 festival. I've been to my fair share of raves but I really think the venue ruined it. and maybe the area. bcuz san bernadino isnt that bad of an area, ive been to raves at this place called the hudson and it wasn't bad at all. This place has lots of things that make it inelligable for a rave, First of all, the rooms are very small and are enclosed, and the max capacities get filled really fast so as soon as that happens, they close the doors, eliminating ANY ventilation throughout the room. Making it very possible for people to overheat. Secondly, the place had the bathrooms closed off, so there was only port a potties, EWW! and there was no one to refill the toilet paper that was out on all sets of PORT A POTTIEs by 1030 pm (raves usually end around 4am) and thirdly!! the security there was rediculous, like i said before ive been to plenty of raves and i have never been so felt up by a girl security gaurd EVER! she literally held my chest in her hand.. i was so shocked, i didnt know how to react. All i can reccomend is : Don't go to a rave that is at San Bernadino Fairgrounds!! Or by Motive Events!! They suck! read more

staff is not knoagable of what is going on and tickets are way too expensive and no one should have to pay for parking. Staff should have things posted like where venders and dance grups should park and have it posted of where they can enter and not make them wait tell 5 minits before perfance time. Give them direct side acess to closes gate to the stage. Rerooms are very durty and not well matained and there is very few resrooms. There needs to be at least 25 restooms avalible throught the fair grounds at all times. ALso the bands that yu pick for live entertainment on the dirt track suck. ALso the people you chose to do the audio controls are making it where people are going death becase it is extreamy too lound. People can hear this nose like 3 miles away;. Please set audio level restictsions for live performacnes and get better bands like Maranda cosgrove or selnia Gomez. read more
