His performance in school has improved, his attitude at home is better, and I don't even have to remind him to get ready bc he's genuinely excited to show up. What stands out most is the commitment he's developed. With the guidance and support of the coaches, I can really see him going far. I truly appreciate Jeremy, Armando, and Selena for their patience and sense of humor. They do an amazing job keeping the kids engaged while still making it fun. I remember meeting another parent during their child's first trial, and thinking how that was just us a month ago. It was great to see them return because they enjoyed it just as much as we did. My son wasn't sure what he wanted to do for a sport/hobby but thanks to a recommendation from family, and seeing his older cousin's hard work and dedication it all clicked. We're so proud to be part of this community and look forward to everything ahead. It really feels like family here.

The environment here is the perfect balance of challenging and supportive. They truly know how to work with kids--teaching them the technical side of the sport while making sure they respect the art. It's more than just a gym; it feels like a community. Whether you are looking for a place for yourself or your child to grow, I highly recommend Premier. We are so glad to be part of this team!

The instructors Mr. Wilson and Ms. Alba care about the children and adults they teach. They do not just teach martial arts but good values. Respect, discipline and manners are just a few. My five your old grandson attends classes here. I am very comfortable that he goes here. He is definitely in good hands. For an affordable start up and monthly fee. My grandson is given a uniform (gee), belt, sparing gloves and three lessons a week in a clean studio. The studio isn't massive but has enough space for several students to move around in. Having all the necessary equipment- punching and kicking bags, padded matt and a large mirror to work in front of. The studio even has a sitting area for non-participants to watch the class. Overall, a well ran karate studio taught by people who know Kenpo Karate/ self defense and how to teach to it. Support local businesses especially the good ones. American Family Kenpo Karate is great. I highly recommend this place.

I came upon American Family Kenpo. Having experience in Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, and Kenpo before, I always remembered Kenpo as having the most comprehensive and effective self defense training. So, I joined with my daughters and have been very pleased since. Kenpo is not meant to be showy, but meant to be real- and to deal with real situations and even multiple opponents. The kids program is excellent. Children practice strikes, blocks, and escape procedures. Kids do not spar against other kids but instead at taught to deal with an adult sized opponent. My girls love it. They are encouraged to work through the hard parts and they are taught discipline and ownership as well. During C19 the studio offered online courses and my kids were just as into it. And, I was super thankful for their willingness to do something difficult for them, but a relief to me with three energetic kids. Please note, this is classified as a gym and therefore they have a gym membership style of payment, etc, so make sure you are ready to commit before you sign up.

It's not just another studio, it's a family, and not like Cobra Kai, but more like The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You don't wear a shell, and you don't fight an Asian dude with a shiny metal helmet and razor sharp gauntlets, but you do train with the best and practice Northern Green Dragon Shaolin Kung Fu. So when people ask if you're kung fu is good, you can say, "hell yea." Training here is always a blast, and quite a workout. Before CMAI, I never really worked with weapons. Well, I did used bo staffs, because I got serious bo staff skills, but I never practiced with swords. You get swords here. That's how hard core they are about showing you the power of ass kickery. Sifu Dwight Love is one of the most awesome practitioners of the art, and an accomplished instructor. He's an older black man with a face that says he don't take crap from no one, but he's very kind and always patient with his students. Just think of Samuel L Jackson and replace his guns with Chuck Norris' ass kicking fists of fury and round house kicks of death--that's Sifu Dwight. Going to CMAI, I've learned 2 things: How to kick ass and how to take names. It's a great studio and they have lessons for all ages.

She cried every night for about 2 weeks. So I then joined his early morning 8am women's workout class, to show my daughter it wasn't that bad. The joke was on me beause Sensei as I call him KICKED MY BUTT!!! That class was SOOO hard, I found myself crying. I didn't show fear or tears during the class but in the car I would ask myself what I was doing. I would pray before class everyday and question why I came. But the more I went and the harder he pushed the more and more I became stronger in myself knowing that my body did not control me I controlled me. I reciprocated that to my daughter as well. After 2 weeks she was EXCITED to go to class. We started taking classes in July 2024. She has been consistent since July. We are in February 2025. I slacked in November and December, but I came back January 2025. It's been real but I would not have chosen a better place to work out. Mentally, physically, and supportively House of Discipline is the place. The staff is top tier. It's definitely A FAMILY. Sensei (Mr. Dela Rosa) is tight as my mom would say, but he's RIGHT. You don't want someone who you can walk over who is helping you work out, you want someone who will help you excel to the goal you have set . House of Discipline will help you reach your potential and beyond. I saw results in a month. Consistency is key. The program that is in place for the kids is definitely one that I have never seen before. My daughter is pushed to gain not only physical knowledge but common sense and thinking skills. I teach those things but to have someone else help push those skills is SOOOO important because the schools don't do that anymore. If you need a village House of Discipline is the VILLAGE. Thank you House of Discipline for the extension of FAMILY.
