I had to pay $5,000 to get a steel reinforced new gate installed. Nobody seemed to care if my property was secure or not! I have a pool and worried about the gate being left open!! After completion, my nephew, who is working for his Eagle Scout asked if they could donate lumber for a small fence in Mission Trails. Tommy had another guy return his call, but didn't bother to inform him what the call was about. My nephew was summarily dismissed with a "we don't do that." I spend over $25,000 on a fence and you guys can't/won't give the Boy Scouts a few pieces of wood?!! Cheap jerks! They left a very bad taste in my mouth!!!!!

I was told my project would be done later in the week, but the crew showed up unexpectedly at 8 a.m. earlier in the week. I work from home and have a dog in the backyard, so the early arrival created issues with both my online meetings during the day (the noise created) and making accommodations for our dog. Cleanup was not thorough either. There were vinyl shavings left in the grooves of our concrete that I ended up cleaning myself. The crew also went through our drip line twice, which caused flooding when the water was turned on. They did send someone to repair it, but it left a muddy mess which I had to clean up. My neighbors, who also used this company, had similar issues with broken sprinklers and other problems.

He was extremely communicative--texted me back right away, came out immediately to give me a quote, and always answered every follow-up question I had. It was genuinely a pleasure working with him. My custom-designed railing (64 linear feet) was hot-dip galvanized and took about six weeks from start to finish. Paul recommended a matte black finish because the hot-dip process can leave slight irregularities, but it ensures the metal will never rust. He was absolutely right--the final result is stunning. The railing was installed the day before my birthday party, and we made it just in time. All of my guests and neighbors were blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Paul is professional, reliable, and highly skilled. I would honestly ignore any one-star reviews--they do not reflect the quality of his work or service. My review is based on my experience with your company and I didn't feel like you wanted to work with me on my project based to the reasons I listed. Which is why I gave you the 3 star review initially. Yes, you might work on all different types of projects but I wouldn't know because I didn't get passed step 1. Yes you offered to do a make up appointment, but I had to contact you first to even find out you were out of town and couldn't make the appointment we agreed upon. I would still be stuck in limbo if I didn't text you. I could easily accept all this as a missed opportunity , but instead of trying to win my business back, you decided to throw a shot at me by replying with this quote of projection: "Projection refers to unconsciously taking unwanted emotions or traits you don't like about yourself and attributing them to someone else." Thanks the quote. This really shows the type of person you are and how you would treat people if they ever had a disagreement with you. Aanco might be good at installing fences, but this was a bad first impression. He even had the nerve to ask if I still wanted him to come out another day. Daniel and Zeke started the fence early Monday morning and finished it that afternoon. They had the small gate finished by Tuesday afternoon, and the big gate was done by Wednesday afternoon. Daniel even came back Thursday after the work had been finished because he wasn't happy about one of the wobbly posts on the small gate, so he came back to secure it to the adjacent wall so it would be more secure. The team was very quick to communicate progress updates, issues, etc., and answer any questions or address any concerns. After seeing how great the fence turned out, my husband said he wishes we'd had MPI replace the rest of the fencing around our yard (it's still in good condition and rather a low priority). Needless to say, we'll definitely ask MPI to come back and do the rest of the fence once we've knocked out some higher-priority projects around our house!
