hi hi! my name is michelle and i live in santa rosa california. i wanted to reach out about an…read moreexperience at your booth at the reptile show here in town. there were two younger men but i'm sorry i didn't get their names. we purchased a ball python baby yesterday. banana pastel enchi male. i don't even know where to begin with what happened but here it goes. at first one of the men were telling me the two snakes i was interested in were dehydrated. i then asked for a thermostat and heat emitter which he both said i didn't need? ‍ i've kept reptiles for years and know better than that. after the purchase i asked what his hatch date was and he told me it's irrelevant? ‍ this is when he started giving me a real rude attitude, mind you i am respectful and kind person and would NEVER talk and treat the way i was by him, i gave him no reason to be mean. even people around me were looking at me like "what is his problem?" it was embarrassing. he didn't know anything about the last time the baby ate? told me he's eating adult full size mice? ‍ he's so so small, so i'm uncertain that's correct information? and then as im talking to him with all my questions i am holding my now snake and he snaps at me to say the snake cant be held? now wait a minute, they were letting whomever wanted to hold an animal, hold the animals. so why he would all of a sudden tell me to not hold it? so weird the whole thing. ruined my afternoon. their attitudes were just not necessary. very odd behavior, as if they just hated their jobs and were taking it out on me. thought your company may want to know. it was disheartening to say the least. i was going to purchase redline science enclosure for him, but opted not to because of the treatment

A big shoutout goes to their lead groomer, Espy. We've been going to her for years because no one is as professional, patient, and skilled as she is with our dogs. She not only does an amazing job with their teddy bear cuts, but she always lets me know if there's anything else to look out for with their health and has given solid recommendations. This unfortunately isn't a very generous window. To my dismay I was on day 6 so they said they couldn't. I explained that I live about 30min away and am off work around 630/7 so it's VERY difficult to make it down within the 5d period. After explaining this they said they could make an exception. The one downside is their driftwood pricing. They do have sims decent selection; however there's no set pricing guidelines. Other LFS stores use color-coded zip ties to denote price; here they don't. Online it says they sell based on weight; however the times I've bought pieces they've never weighed it: it seems like they just come up with a number and that's what you pay up. I guess another downside is they have a smaller selection (of goods in general) than other local LFS stores and they're a bit pricier.
