Wife and I were in the area and we just did a walk-in Pretty much just told the people working there what kind of games, genre and difficulty we liked and we got a really selection of options. We weren't with the pirates one since you can select a class with unique abilities. It was fun and the game masters were really helpful with the choice. We almost paid for a back to back session but was hungry so ended up wrapping up with just the one session. Really fun! read more

After herding cats for two and a half weeks I managed to get a party of 8 into the experience for space marine 2. none of my friends are into 40k at all and few of them had any vr experience, let alone vr (even less free roam stuff). everyone had a great time and was talking about it for days. staff was polite and helpful. the leaderboards were fun to place on. my only negative feedback was that the experience felt on the short side, but that is obviously not up to the venue. read more

I had mixed emotions about doing this at first, but I'm so glad I did. It completely exceeded my expectations. Being a little bit older and not sure how well I could get around in a virtual world. I found the zombie outbreak game that we played so realistic and fun. I took my team for this event. We had a blast and we can't stop talking about it. I wouldn't be surprised if we come back again for the next team outing rather than do something else. It was that fun! They even had lunch already for us when we showed up while we waited for the rest of our team to join us. Very well organized and easy to find on Miramar. Highly recommend! read more

San Diego VR has been open for nine months and they have a new game which has been around for two months. Came here for my son's birthday party and it was about $75 for 45 minutes with 30 minutes in a large arena play in 15 minutes and mini games. During the week they charge about $45 for the same. The staff are super accommodating and friendly, and I would say this place is worth the drive and experience if you have never done VR before this is a great intro with three varieties of games and even a virtual escape room. It's very spacious and I would say that the arena room is the highlight of the place that you want to spend the most time and you get two different games that you can choose from and the overall experience about 30 minutes. What's amazing is that the gameplay adjust to your difficulty and you can choose normal version or hard version and a lot of the kids that came to my son's birthday party really enjoyed their experience. It was easy to learn for a group of 12-year-olds. I will say that if you are younger than nine and find headsets cumbersome I would not let the younger kids play because it's still too difficult. The other games come with Angry Birds or Ghostbusters or skill games and there is also seating areas for large groups for food and also just waiting area. I found the location to be colorful and exciting and worth the time spent. read more

This place is very clean and spacious. You can tell the gear is nice. When we arrived, we were recommended to pick another one because ours was for kids. We appreciated the tip and enjoyed our time. When we came for the escape game room experience, we picked the most challenging for a group of four. I found it amusing but I don't think I would do the virtual escape room again. It wasn't as challenging as I thought it would be and would prefer one in person. However, I would come back for the other VR experiences. You can tell its very clean and well kept. read more

Man.... that was sooo fun! I didnt realize how immersed it would be . I was in a group of 7.. and wow it was really brought you into a different world. Wow! Wow! Wow! We are totally coming back! The place has state of the art VR technology that's makes you feel that you are no longer on earth! We choose the game Singularity and were blown away by how realistic it is. There was a thin plank in space and I had to cross it. I was so hesitant even though I knew it was all fake! Hahah! We returned to San Diego VR after getting hooked on their escape room--and this time we booked the birthday package. It was totally worth it! The kids got tons of game time, roaming the big room and working together as a team. We had a break for food in the party room we rented, and then they got more game time after that. The staff here is super friendly, patient, and welcoming, which makes it even better. We were able to sit back, get the room ready, and watch the kids have a blast. All the kids absolutely loved it! Had a great time at SD VR! The instructions was very clear! Our group of 10 was split between two groups and we played a collection of terminator, overcooked, and Santa zombies! 10/10 group experience! Lol high recommendation to wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be prepared to sweaaat (even if it's 45 minutes). I would def come back! read more

Great location just off Mira mar. We took our son out of curiosity and the owner was so kind to give us a deal. It was so kind of her and unexpected. It made the experience just that much better. The place is high tech, clean and the real deal when it comes to VR. It's such a cool experience. Some of the worries were that we'd feel sick or nauseous after but nope! We felt fine and were ready for more. We will definitely be back. 10/10 highly recommend ! read more

Came in for a team building event and was not disappointed. We had an absolute blast. The hosts were great, providing humor reminding me that the floor was still there as I shuffled through the virtual wastelands scared of tripping on breaks in the ground. We did the space marine zero latency mission. After that we played some mini games archery, cooking burgers, dancing, angry birds and ghost busters. The best part is they send you these awesome videos afterwards that are hilarious! One of the best team building events we've ever had. read more

This was such a good experience. We did the Far Cry game. This was the funnest VR experience we've ever gone to in our lives. I would come back here every weekend if I could. Leah was so nice and knowledgeable. She made the experience great as well. No problems and would do it again. I want to try the Zombies or Space Marines game next time. read more

We brought the teenager with her friends for her birthday. They 1st did the Time travel paradox and were able to solve the puzzle within the time and a few hints. We the. That was so much fun! We are definitely gonna be back! My hubby and I did the far cry VR game. It was super intense a lot of room for free roaming around with your rifle as you shoot a bunch of evil pirates! I took my 10 year-old son here with his friends to celebrate his 10th birthday and we had the best time! There were several options to choose from and the staff did a great job of helping us decide which games would be best for our group. We ended up doing a zero latency game, which was immersive and a very cool experience for them, and then playing several of the Hologate games. The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave! The people who work here are super nice and patient. But was kinda disappointed with the game itself I had booked a VRescape room for my boyfriend's birthday. I was super excited and the concept is amazing unfortunately ours kept glitching out my boyfriends head set had to be fixed atleast 4 times. And in the last room it went out basically for the whole thing. Again staff is nice but I definitely felt like the expertise was taken from us with all the glitches. read more

Made us felt like a kid again and definitely had all of us contributing, studying and playing together. Such a clever game! Well thought out and as players, you just need to listen carefully starting w the very FIRST clue! We asked for help a few times. Sadly we didn't unlock the last lock on time but they graciously let us finish with a few minutes after the deadline. Parking at UTC is free thr first hour. Use GPS to take you directly to the parking lot. There's a ticket booth in front of the Escape room if you want to pay in advanced when you exit.

It was a great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon, and I definitely recommend starting with Black and White Cafe if you do that. It's a lot easier and a good warmup for Moriarty's Manor. Black and White Cafe is aesthetic, cozy, and clever. Moriarty's Manor, on the other hand, is the hardest escape room I've done so far. Our group of four made it out with just seven seconds to spare!! (We had two beginners who had each done 2-3 rooms and two intermediates who had each done 10-12 prior to that day.) The combo of puzzles was SO good, with lots of variety and opportunities for different skill sets to shine. I like that MindFox gives unlimited hints but that everyone in the group has to agree to receive a hint. I thought the gamemasters were super personable and helpful. It's difficult to review escape rooms because you don't want to give things away -- so just take my word for it and check this place out! (Just don't start with Moriarty's Manor if your group is all beginners; practice on some other rooms first.) They told us they're opening up a third room later this year, so my friends and I will definitely be back for that!

It was a multi room escape room and I would consider it a medium to hard level. Our game master was super friendly and helpful when we needed hints. I think we did a total of two hint through out the game and we managed to beat the clock and got out in time! The parking wasn't the best, it was all street parking with meters. When you get to the location it is a bit hard to find the front door because it is on the back side of the building up some stairs. But there is some signage to help you find the door if you get lost.

However, the Japanese Thriller barely felt on theme with the serial killer storyline other than the introduction video we received. I prefer escape rooms where I actually feel like I'm part of the story. This was a very different escape room than I have done before. While you always have to split up for escape rooms, this time we were forced to separate between multiple rooms so you had no idea how the other group was doing (this isn't great when you're forced to solve the room with strangers because you have no idea if they know what they're doing). It was definitely more chaotic than other escape rooms I've done. The rooms were small and they use locks for a lot of the puzzles, which isn't innovative. They also forgot to put back one of the pieces we needed to get the final combination, so we almost didn't make it out because we had to keep guessing. HOWEVER, the worst part of the entire experience was how RUDE the man was that was helping us on the walkie talkie. He would give us attitude every time we asked for a clue. Why give clues if you're going to rude when people use them?

The staff were great and very professional. But I really think they should have turned that group away, or put them in their own room as they were literally falling down drunk. I would definitely come here again if I had a big enough group to fill the room, but I wouldn't come on a date.

Kevin was very friendly and did a great job of guiding us through the process. The storefront was easy to find. Parking was plentiful. We checked in ahead of time. The whole process was very smooth for us. I am someone who loves zombies and horror but gets very easily scared. I was really worried that I would get too freaked out, but I ended up having a lot of fun! It was a little bit of a workout. I was sweating by the end. It was also really cool that, if you're celebrating a birthday, they'll give you a little birthday celebration at the end. 10/10 would go back.

Something to note is that there is only one park, so big dogs are combined with small ones. Theres a small obstacle course for dogs to jump and run through. And for the humans, there's also a few benches on the side to sit at.

There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.

Where can you find a large art sculpture and the many areas made of wood and the climbing is for exercise.

Childrens park one of the best educational parks and for the many structures you can have fun the whole day.
