Such a FUN EXPERIENCE playing bubble soccer with some of my favorite buddies for my bachelor's party. Our group reserved and permitted a field at the park in Liberty Station with the City. We opted for 90 minutes. Each match lasts five minutes long. However, that five minutes feels like a ten. In between, you can take as much breaks as you want. I think we played approximately six matches, and we were all ready to call it quits at the end. The bubble soccer is heavier than it looks. There is only way to put it on and running around with these can be extremely tiring. I HIGHLY SUGGEST bringing GLOVES to prevent burns on your knuckles. When you get knocked out, the impact of the inner wall rubs against your skin and multiple hits can lead to skin scrape. We played with a large and regular soccer balls. Scoring was easier with the normal sized ball. The goal post is similar to kiddie goal posts, so you cannot hit it high or wide angles. We had a group event set up on a field in the Clairemont area. I've seen photos of bubble soccer before but had never tried it so the experience was new for me. There were enough bubbles to play five-on-five so we rotated people with two sitting out each game. The "referee" went over the rules and brought three different sizes of soccer balls. It was the red team vs the blue team so off we went with a large inflatable sack ball. I wore workout pants for the games because I didn't want to scrape up my knees when I tumbled on the grass (which happened three times). I quickly found out that even on a 70 degree day, you get hot and sweaty really fast inside one of these bubbles. They acted like a heat sink with the way the bubble absorbed the sunlight. I did bring a water bottle but forgot to bring a sweat towel which I really needed. Every time two goals were scored, we all took a break in the shade. I think our group ended up playing five games over the rental time of one hour. I would highly recommend bubble soccer for a team building activity or a birthday party celebration. The optimal time of the year would be during the winter season in SD as one can get dehydrated and tired rapidly if you play in warm weather. read more

Many thanks to Bubble Soccer Club for great customer service from beginning to end. Jesse initially contacted me, but I worked mostly with Gabe, who was phenomenal. They were very accommodating on a last minute request when I called them on Monday, and we're able to get our time just two days later on Wednesday. We had to change parks on the day of the event, and Bubble Soccer Club was vey accommodating. Bryce came early to set up so we were able to start on time for our 1 hour event. Prior to our event, there was another company also doing bubble soccer on the field opposite of us, but it did not look as good or as fun as Bubble Soccer Club. The other company all used clear balls. To make the teams different, players wore different colored reflective vests but those are hard to see once you put the bubble on. Bubble Soccer Club had externally colored bubbles. It was Team Red vs Team Blue/Green. Also, Bubble Soccer Club had the option of using a regular soccer ball or a large sack-style soccer ball. It was way more fun playing with the large soccer ball since the ball stayed in play more often instead of people kicking it out of bounds. In all, I recommend Bubble Soccer Club 100%. read more

I called around San Diego two days before our family reunion and Bubble Soccer Club SD was quick to respond to my email inquiry and had the best price out of all the competitor vendors in San Diego. Our reunion was at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay Park so there was plenty of room for our family to play bubble soccer. Bubble Soccer Club SD organized the games and ref'd. They allowed us to decide if we'd have each game end by time or by score. We tried 3 goals to end each game but it proved too hard to score three goals before our players were totally wiped out with exhaustion! Even the fittest of our family could last, at the most, 15 minutes playing at one time. We hired Bubble Soccer Club for our team building event which gave us so much fun and joy! The Club is so cooperative and supportive in addition to being friendly and professional. They helped us to pick the venue and connect us with the park admin. The came to the event on time and quickly setup the equipment. Plus they are very flexible and generous, for example, we were agreed to have a 30-minute break in the 2 hours session and they just charged us 2 hours when we actually have about 2.5 hours in total. In short, the company is quite nice and everything is arranged through web, emails, and calls. The only missing part is we didn't meet the people we arranged the game and only met the referee on the site who is also kind and cool, but it would be just a plus.
