I can't speak to any of the other resources as I haven't used them. However, the way the staff treat the people in the library leaves a lot to be desired, hence my 2-star review. Although the publicly posted hours state they close at 6 pm, beginning at 5:30 pm, there is an aggressive push to get everyone out of the library, with constant announcements over the loudspeaker, security guard patrolling the study areas, and the librarians also coming around and reminding everyone to leave by 5:45 pm. At 5:35 pm, I was told that if I didn't leave by 5:45 pm I would be locked in the library with my child overnight. I stated the library closes at 6 pm, and we will be gone well before that time. At 5:55 pm, as we were leaving, the security guard and the librarian came over to tell us we were there past closing. They definitely scared my child into thinking that would happen. Woof. The overbearing staff is a bit much. But if anyone is down for a sleepover in the library, it's me!!

They suggest books and always answer any questions. They also have activities on different days of the week to come and bring your kiddos and your whole family to enjoy. This library is very close to my house so we come every week.

Before heading to a university, I went to MSJC and they were awesome! I love that MSJC is community-based and is welcoming to all walks of life. I recommend their history and English department! The counselors are on top of things and they try to get you into a class asap. The campus is pretty clean and they have great breakfast burritos at the cafe! I would also suggest going to the library, I love the tutoring center!, it was so helpful! The school is very accessible and the RTA bus arrives every 30ish minutes

But due to work, I have only been able to take a few classes throughout the years. But I do love the variety of classes that they offer and how constant their schedule is. If you are looking for a Japanese school for your child to attend, they offer that. If you would like to just learn more about the community through the different cultural classes, just sign up for the emails and you can be alerted for upcoming classes that they offer. I've taken amigurumi (crochet), ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), and a cooking class. All of the instructors are great and mostly volunteers. So it just shows you what a great community there is. They have festivals through the year and also help put on the West Covina Cherry Blossom Festival. They also host the West Covina obon at the center but it is organized by the Buddhist church which is based out of the community center. So there is just a lot of activities that you can get involved with.

I have been registering for my classes every single day and only owed tuition for this semester. I…read morewas approved for financial aid. I was advised to add my classes every day and get dropped by financial aid until the financial aid was processed at the school. I woke up this morning and every class that I need for this semester is waitlisted with the exception of one three Credit class. I initially had 13 units I was taking that I need. This only sets me back six months. Every time I've ever tried to register at this college it's been next to impossible. I've attended colleges in other cities and counties, and they were much nicer and much easier to attend. This is the third time it's happened to me so it sent me back a year and a half total. It feels like an uphill battle trying to get any sort of education from this college. I'm constantly forced to just take whatever class is available if I want to attend and I need my actual prerequisites and things necessary for my education goal. There are no other sections available. I've never heard of a college that has one section available for multiple classes. If you can go anywhere but here. Thank you so much MSJC. Something that takes six months at another will take you years with this college. This place is probably the worst college to ever have existed!!!!!!!!!!!

They are attentive, respectful, mindful, thorough, and consistent. The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. I will always choose their services over anyone else's except I'm in a program which means I have to see my program's psychiatrist only. Very good people and professional :)

Leo, Alvin, Jordyn in BH and the Dental Department have exceeded my expectations with the kindness and care they extend to myself...and I know for sure other patients. I will forever be grateful for finding this gem of a place. It's difficult to find good care and this is exceptional.
